Ballad (Rockstar #5) (6 page)

I lean over her, gripping her hair again, and tell her through gritted teeth, “I’m going to fuck you hard and fast and this won’t take long, so if you want to get off, you better finger your clit.”

“Mmm,” she purrs and mutters something in her whiny tone that I don’t even pay attention to.

I position my cock and slip right in. Damn. Tight, wet heat squeezing my cock. I slam into her, my balls slapping against her ass, as I look for my much-needed nut. When she pushes back against me, I grunt.

“Yeah, keep doing that,” I tell her. She mutters something again but all I hear is a buzzing in my ears—then a pop. What the…?

I look over. The door’s open a crack and there, on a table in the hall, sits Coley in a short skirt and shirt so low I see the lace of her bra. She’s just sitting there, hands gripping the edge of the table a bit too tightly, kicking her legs, chewing her gum, and watching me fuck this chick.

What the fuck?

I narrow my eyes at her and she lifts a brow. Just seeing her there has the first sign of my orgasm making its appearance. The challenge in her eyes has me thrusting harder. When she uses her tongue to blow a bubble, I groan aloud. When she pulls the stray pieces of gum off of her lip, I’m so close it hurts to hold back. And then she does it. She sticks her finger in her mouth and she sucks. I close my eyes for a second then open them, her finger still in her mouth. Fuck.

There’s no holding back now. No fucking way. Not when she tempts me by spreading her legs and showing me her white cotton panties. That’s so fucking sexy. I just pump once, twice and I’m coming hot and hard into the condom, my eyes locked with Coley’s. A smirk forms on that gorgeous mouth as I come hard and groan so loud she hears me. When she presses her legs together and squirms. I know she’s wet and I know a few touches will get her off.

“Fuck,” I mutter and the chick purrs something she thinks is sexy. I want to tell her it’s not her that got me off, but the girl sitting on the table in the hall. When I look back from tossing the condom, Coley’s gone, as if the whole thing never happened.

But I know it happened and so does she. She doesn’t have to prove to me I want her and that it’ll be fantastic. I already know it. God, how I know it. It just can’t happen no matter how much she tempts me.

I
’M NOT SURE
what compelled me to stop when I saw Ben fucking that chick. There was absolutely no intimacy involved. He was merely using her body to get off—and she let him. It’s not the first time I’ve seen these guys fucking chicks. I mean, we’re talking Ethan, Kennedy, Jace, and Ben here, not to mention the roadies. Jesus, the kinky shit the roadies do on stage when the shows are over. I shudder. That is certainly not for me.

But Ben? He’s for me. I saw it tonight when he looked at me. He couldn’t help himself. He stared at me and when I put my finger in my mouth, his nostrils flared and I knew, I just knew he was going to come. When he closed his eyes, then opened them to laser into mine, his face contorted with pleasure and he let out the sexiest groan I’d ever heard. I got wet from hearing it. It was hot watching him fuck that chick but looking at me while he did it—a bit perverse? Yeah, but it was still hot.

I made sure I was gone before he turned back around. It certainly would have been awkward if the chick had caught me watching. I should have fingered myself right there on the table. I wonder what he would have done. But there were too many people around.

“BB,” Lucian calls out, breaking me out of my daydreaming as I lean against the wall outside. “What are you doing?”

“I needed some air. It’s been quite a night.”

“That it has. Tell me, Coley Harper, what’s your favorite thing to do?”

“Read.” I don’t even pause. He smiles.

“Book nerds are sexy,” he says, leaning in to push some of the hair out of my face. I want nothing more in this moment than to take this damn wig off and put my scarf back on.

“Lucian, you know I’m sick, right?”

He nods. “I do. But you’re in remission, right?”

I give him a wry grin. “For now. There’s no saying how long it’ll last.”

“Okay. You take medication?”

“Yes. The reason I’m asking you is because this damn wig is making me sweat and I’d really like nothing more than to put my thin scarf back on instead. But if it’ll freak you out, then we’ll stick with the wig,” I tell him straight up.

He’s frowning now. Shit.

“Nicole,” he whispers, then reaches up to touch the wig. “How do you take it off?”

I hold my hands over his and help him. I’m not sure what it is about Lucian that tells me I can trust him. When the wig is off, I run my hand over my sweaty scalp and breathe with relief.

“Feel better?” he asks.

“Much, thanks.” I take the silk scarf from around my neck and wrap it around my head.

“You’re beautiful, babe,” Justin says from the doorway, startling me. I didn’t know he was there.

“Thank you, but you don’t have to say that. I know what I look like when I’m wig-less and with barely any makeup on.” I’m average looking at best when I’m healthy, so beautiful is way beyond pushing it.

Justin blows out the smoke from the drag he just took off his cigarette. “Look, I don’t bullshit. You’ll find that out quick enough.”

“I suppose I will.”

“I can see why you like her,” he tells Lucian.

Lucian nods slightly.

“What time do you think we’re going to pull out tonight?” I ask.

“Who knows,” Justin answers. “Four, maybe five?”

I sigh. I’m exhausted. Dancing up there under the lights, it was so damn hot even with the fans on me.

“I think the princess is about to turn into a pumpkin,” Lucian says.

“You’ve got your fairy tale all messed up,” I tease and he grins.

“Yeah, I know. It was something my mom used to say. You want to stay on our bus?”

I smirk. “Yeah, that sounds good.”

“Cool,” he replies with a grin and grabs my hand.

“Wait, wait a minute. How come neither of you have hooked up with anyone?” I can’t help but ask.

Lucian looks at me and lifts a brow and I smile.

“Okay, okay, but what about you?” I ask Justin.

He shrugs. “Didn’t feel like it.”

“Huh.”

He smirks. “Don’t get me wrong, babe. Just because I didn’t fuck someone tonight doesn’t mean I won’t do it tomorrow.”

“Of course,” I reply drolly.

“Guys like to fuck. A lot. And when pussy is freely given, we take it. Not as much as we used to, but we take it,” Justin tells me.

“Thanks for the honesty. I was curious, is all.”

He nods and drops his cigarette butt, snuffing it out with the toe of his boot. “Let’s go get some sleep. Tomorrow’s going to be another long one.”

Lucian pulls me into his side and we head to their bus.

“Where are you going?” Misty asks from the bus.

“To the other bus,” I reply. She’s on her phone—again—in the middle of the damn night. Obviously she has some secrets of her own.

“Don’t care for her, huh?” Justin asks.

“Not really. I don’t trust her.”

He grunts. “But you trust us.”

“Weird, right?”

“Nah. You know we’re not here to hurt you and, honestly, if anyone even looked at you wrong, Lucian would rip their damn throat out.”

“Fucking right,” Lucian admits.

“Now, if you’d met us six years ago…” Justin says, letting the thought hang.

“I’d have been twelve and I can’t see either of you as pedophiles.”

Justin chuckles. “No, not our style.”

I let out a yawn as we reach the first of their buses.

“Come on BB. Let’s go get some sleep.”

Lucian leads me to the back bedroom and I sit awkwardly on the edge of the bed. Justin disappeared somewhere behind us. Lucian closes the door and opens a drawer, grabbing a t-shirt.

“Wanna use this to sleep in?” he asks.

“That’d be great,” I reply, unable to hide the relief. I’m finding it difficult to keep my eyes open.

“Here, let me help you,” Lucian says as he watches me struggle with the buttons on my top.

I eye him warily and he chuckles.

“I promise you, Nicole, I won’t touch you unless you say it’s okay. The last thing I’d ever do is force you—or anyone—to do something they don’t want to do.” He unbuttons the last button and meets my gaze. “Should I take it off or do you want to preserve your modesty?”

“You can take it off. I’m covered.”

He pushes the top off my shoulders. “Damn. Yeah, you’re covered in some sexy fucking lace.”

“It makes me feel pretty.” When he gives me a confused look, I elaborate. “The lace. It makes me feel pretty.”

“Baby, if you were any prettier…” He drifts off as he pulls the t-shirt on over my head. “I’ll leave the bra to you.” He reaches for the button and zipper on my skirt and it drops straight to the floor. Then he’s kneeling before me, unbuckling my sandals and slipping them off. I reach beneath the tee to unhook my bra, the shirt lifting, revealing the curve of my ass and panties and Lucian groans.

He turns and takes off his boots, jeans, and shirt, leaving only his boxer briefs that are tented with a very impressive erection.

“Come on, baby,” he coaxes, pulling the blanket and sheet back for me and I climb in next to him. He reaches over and turns out the light. We’re lying face-to-face, the moonlight the only light in the room. I can see him clearly in the dusky room.

“What are you thinking?” I ask.

“I’m thinking I want to kiss you.” My heart leaps in my chest and my sleepiness is now gone.

“Then kiss me.”

“Are you sure?”

“Yes.”

He leans over me, watching me closely as he presses his lips to mine. Softly, merely a flutter of sensation at first, before he increases the pressure, his lips molding to mine. My arms wind themselves around his neck and he settles his weight on top of me. It’s a welcome weight, unfamiliar, but one that turns me on so much I can’t stop the lift of my hips to rub against him. He groans into my mouth as his tongue tangles with mine, his hands threaded in my hair.

He pulls back and looks down at me. “This isn’t what I had in mind when I asked you to sleep here tonight. I really meant sleep.”

I grin and shrug. “I know but…”

“Yeah, but,” he mutters, his thumb tracing my lower lip, his eyes watching the movement. “What do you want, Nicole?”

Wow. That’s a loaded question, one I wasn’t expecting him to ask me. “I’m not ready to have sex.” Not to mention I’m a
virgin
. Ugh. It’d be so easy to get rid of my V card right now but it’s too soon. I barely know the man, but my body doesn’t care right now. My body wants and needs.

“I’m probably showing my age here, but we barely know each and I’m not like that,” I say with a blush.

“Baby, you don’t have to be embarrassed. I wouldn’t expect you to fuck tonight. As much as my body’s screaming for me to, I don’t think it’d be right. Not yet. Do you want me to touch you?” he asks, sucking on my earlobe.

I let out a breath. Holy Hannah. “Yes.”

“Where?” he asks, kissing my neck. His hand slides over my abdomen and up, resting just beneath the heavy weight of my breast. “Here?” he asks, licking a path back up to my ear. When his tongue traces the whorl of my ear, I moan.

“Yes, yes,” I answer, grabbing his hand and putting it on my breast. “There, please there.”

He chuckles. “Let’s take this off.” He lifts the t-shirt over my head and then his hand is gently squeezing one breast while his mouth licks at the nipple of the other.

Oh yes, just like that.

He sucks the nipple into his mouth and I feel the pull all the way to my womb. The arousal driving me mad with want.

“I need to know something, Nicole.”

“Huh?” I ask through my lust-filled haze.

“How far do you want this to go?” Lucian asks, pressing soft kisses along my chin and jaw.

“Let’s find out,” I breathe, pressing my lips to his, thrusting my tongue into his mouth. When he groans I smile. This I know how to do. Kiss and touch. The tasting that I want to do, I’m unsure of, but it’s going to happen. It’s so totally going to happen. I want to know what it’s like to feel a man’s mouth on me, what it feels like to climax against his tongue.
