shoulder and kicked the door shut with his heel. They’d just returned from dinner with Damon’s parents, who were still in town and understandably worried about their recently widowed son. Only Marco’s assurances the he would stay with Damon had convinced
them it was okay for them to leave L.A. They’d promised to be back soon.
“My poor mom is so upset,” Damon muttered.
“She’ll be okay. They’re tough people.”
“I know. And they barely knew Emma.”
“It’s not Emma they’re grieving for,” Marco reminded Damon quietly. “It’s you.”
“Stop.”
Marco and Damon both jumped. “Damn it, woman,” Damon growled. “Don’t
sneak up on me.”
Tasha tossed a duffle onto the pile of luggage that was waiting by the garage
door. “Our flight leaves in less than three hours.”
“Flight? Where?” Marco asked.
“First Belize, then to Caye Caulker.”
“Why?” Marco said.
“Where?” Damon asked.
“We need to get away. And we need to do something that will take our minds off
of the past few weeks.”
“So we’re going snorkeling in the Caribbean?”
Tasha rolled her eyes. “Hardly. We’re going to a BDSM compound.” She kissed
Damon’s cheek. “I know you’ve hated not having any control over what’s been
happening, so I’m going to give you some control—plus I know how much you like being my Master.” She leaned into him, running her hands over his back.
Damon’s blood left his brain and pooled in his cock. Though they’d played their
share of bondage games, nothing had ever come close to those first nights at the club in Chicago, when they’d still been worried about a blackmail scheme.
“I, uh, have to…” Surely there was a reason they couldn’t just run off to a tropical island to have kinky sex.
“Your fake wife just died. You don’t have to be anywhere.” Tasha tucked his
passport into his pocket. “Ready?”
Marco hugged him and kissed his cheek. “Come on, Damon. We’ll drink, fish and
do dirty things to our pretty little slave girl.”
Tasha laughed. “Oh, did I forget to say that Masters are only allowed if they bring a slave?”
Marco stiffened. “I’m not going?”
“Oh you’re going.” Tasha plucked a collar from the top of the pile and tossed it to him. “As Damon’s other slave.”
Damon roared with laughter as Marco cursed. Tasha hustled them out the door
into a rental car. “You know what,” Damon said as they parked at the airport. “I actually like this plan.”
“I thought you might.” Tasha pulled on a black wig so she wouldn’t be recognized
as Natasha or Emma, and forced Marco and Damon to put on hats and sunglasses.
She kissed Damon deeply, then did the same to Marco. “I love you both. You saved me, the two of you. I wanted to tell you that.”
“We saved each other,” Damon said.
“We did,” Marco agreed. “I know this is going to be hard, but we’ll find a way.” He got out of the car. “Now let’s go do kinky, dangerous stuff.”
