Chapter 6

When Shae final awoke, it was evening and the sun was already going down in the sky. She couldn’t believe that she had slept the whole day away, but she was sure that her brain just needed time to take it all in. Her dreams had shown that and she woke up turned on and looking for Cass.

“Caspien?”

Her voice quavered slightly and she waited for him to answer. Looking down beside the bed, she saw her bag and pulled out some fresh clothes. Noticing the extra door, she figured it was a bathroom and was thankful to find a hot shower. There wasn’t much that a good nap and a shower couldn’t solve.

In the middle of her shower, her hand brushed against one of her hard nipples and soon she was cupping them both. The soap made her skin slippery and her body wanted more. She pushed her fingers between her legs and closed her eyes, leaning back against the shower wall. Spreading her legs wider, Shae moved her hand faster, the other one pulling on her nipples, squeezing the sensitive knot in between her fingers. A moan escaped her lips and then the shower door opened.

Shae expected it to be Cass. She didn’t stop playing with herself, only went faster as the thought of him watching her sent her closer to the edge. “Do you need some help?”

The voice was deep and familiar, yet she knew instantly that it was not. Her blue eyes met another set of darker blue ones and she gasped. What could she say to that? His dark eyes held hers as he got in and closed the door behind him. His body was bare and her eyes were riveted to the length between his legs. Blushing, she pulled her gaze away from his crotch and looked away.

Renald just wanted to touch her, to know if it was really her. He had watched her sleep for an hour, but even with his staring, she had not awoken. When he saw the bed empty, there had a moment of fear that she had ran away, but then he heard the shower going and couldn’t think of a better way to find out if she truly was the one. Cass was busy meeting with the leaders and he was left to take in the sweeping view in front of him.

Shae was curved and her body was supple. It was clear what she was doing, though she did not even have the presence to stop. His hands moved against the wall on either side of her head and she looked up at him. Her hands fell to their sides and her face was bright red with embarrassment. “Can I have a kiss?”

She nodded and waited for his lips to attack her like his eyes told her they would. Shae was shocked at how soft his lips were and how gentle they were when they finally touched. Electricity ran through her directly to her core and she moaned against his lips, her arms wrapping around his neck to pull him in for more. Shae was lost the moment they touched and as he pressed harder, his long cock slid between her thighs.

Renald knew as she did as soon as they touched. She was the one and he rejoiced as the heat of desire coursed through his veins. He had waited so long for her, that traditions would be damned. He had to have her right then and there. His hand moved to where hers was and he pressed against her puffy lips, as his tongue massaged hers. Another whimper and her thighs squeezed shut around his playing fingers. When he felt her heat and wetness, he could not deny his need any longer.

“Wrap your legs around me Shae.”

She didn’t understand at first and then his hands were on her ass, lifting her up to position right at her opening. Looking down, they watched his thick rod disappear inside of her. Shae tightened and then he was fully buried inside of her. Her heels crossed and she clung to his hard body as he started to move at an excruciatingly slow pace. Shae was beside herself in pleasure and the orgasm that she had been working on for ten minutes was upon her in a roaring crash. She cried out and their lips met. Renald did not want Cass to find them, but he heard the door in the other room open and then close.

Pushing her back against the far wall, Renald moved as fast as he could, slamming into her as hard as he could. Her tight sheath gripped him like her arms gripped his neck. “Oh God harder, fuck me harder!”

Her cries drew the second man into the bathroom and Renald chose not to meet his eyes. Cass was about to yell, his face angry, but his eyes watched her body move through the frosted glass. His own anger dissipated and he wanted nothing more than to be in there with them. It was how it was supposed to be and since tradition was already broken in many ways, he decided to hell with waiting.

Caspien opened the shower door and crowded in, his eyes on her round ass bouncing in front of him as Renald drove in deeper. “Still think she isn’t the one?”

Renald’s eyes showed his belief and the soul-consuming pleasure in her depths. It was like no one he had ever been with before. The man had never felt so complete and Caspien knew exactly how he felt. Sliding behind her, he grabbed his cock and positioned himself below her moving body. Renald held her hips as he forced her down onto his fat cock again and again. Cass shifted his hips and when she came down to penetrate her quim on Renald, Cass’ own thick length pushed into her tight rosebud ass.

“Fuck Cass!”

He smiled at her swearing, knowing that it must be good, for her to dirty her mouth with such language. With both men lodged inside of her, there was a moment of clarity and she felt different. Something had happened, but Shae was not left much time to consider anything because they both moved out slowly in unison. Her insides gripped them both and she was left undeniably empty. It was as if her being was no longer enough and only with them both was she complete.

“More. I want more.”

They moved in with a strong rush of their hips. Shae cried out, her body exploding with the overwhelming touch. Her sounds made Cass and Renald lose control and simultaneously pick up their pace. No longer did they move together, but at their own preference. Caspien slammed inside as he had before, creating a burning friction in her ass. Renald did deeper strokes, but pulled out so fast, she thought part of her was going to get yanked out. The pleasure from both made her own bliss intensify and her body tightened with every muscle in her body contracting.

Her flush of fluid on Renald was his end, as well as her suffocating love tunnel. Cass bellowed behind her, making short jabs as Renald slowly pulled out. With him gone, Cass pushed her against the shower wall and grabbed her arms. Using them for leverage, he pounded her sweet ass for another moment or two before she felt his hot seed scald her bowels.

Shae looked down and her insides dropped. Her stomach was outside of her body and on the ground. “What..what are we doing out here Cass?”

“I told you that I was going to take you flying.”

Her love changed in front of her, much like Renald did. But unlike Renald’s iridescent pearl color, Caspien was black like his eyes. His scales shimmered with her touch and when she looked into his eyes, she realized that it was still the same ones she lost herself in when they made love. Sliding her thick thighs over the back and clinging to his neck, Shae closed her eyes tight and felt the air move faster around her. There was a weightlessness that told her they were flying, but her eyes stayed shut for several minutes.

“Open your eyes Shae.”

She heard the words in her mind and she did as he asked. Renald was beside them and their eyes met. They were in the clouds, nothing above or below but blue skies and white. She gasped at the view and slowly released the neck she held like a vise. Sitting up, her arms came up to touch a thick whiteness that dissipated with her touch. Her world seemed so out of control, yet Shae would not have wanted it any other way.

Chapter 1

Lois smiled at the client, though there was something strange about him. Ever since she started working for Colin, it was never a dull day. And he never had a dull client. The tall, older man in front of her was in all black and had a pasty parlor to his skin. One would think that there was an unnatural glow to his eyes and an emptiness that made her want to look away. It was just another day at Castine, Inc. He was a lawyer/mediator of some type, but Colin liked all the strange jobs. He hardly ever went to court, everything was settled quietly and though she was sworn to secrecy by the contract she signed at hire, Lois knew more than most humans ever should.

Colin did not just take the strange jobs, but the clients that were strange. There were fights over castles, disputes over blood rites and of course, centuries-old divorces. This was law on crack and there wasn’t a basic justice code like there was in the human-world, in the para-world there were always new ways to solve an old problem.

“Mr. Castine will be out with you in a minute. Would you like something to drink?”

The Casper-white client shook his head and sat down. Vamps never said much to her, so she went to prepare a drink to suit his type. Handing the warm glass to him, he finally smiled and she wished he hadn’t. His sharp, white teeth were showing from his grin. “Thank you Lois.”

It was hard to shake the feeling of a man like that, saying her name. But after several months of working there, it seemed she was getting used to it. Funny what a person can get used to under the right circumstances. Lois had a reason to be there though. She was paying off a debt to the owner. That bound her to him in a way that assured her silence, forever.

Several months before, the day they had met, Lois was introduced to the mystical world like most were, right before she was scheduled to die. Her fate was different though and Colin had intervened to the err of many in the para-world. So her servitude to pay off the debt was in the way of an assistance job, with good pay so she didn’t have much to complain about. Her life had taken a strange turn and Lois had to admit, she kind of liked it the way it was turning out. There was never a dull day at the office. Her nights were lonely and she felt like she did not belong with the humans anymore, but her days were filled with such excitement, that it somehow made it all worth it to her.

Picking up the phone, she called the number for his office. “Mr. Redcliffe is here to see you Sir.”

She heard a sigh on the other side. “Just call me Colin Lois. You have been here long enough, no more Sir.”

“Yes Si…Colin.”

It was strange to her to call him by his first name, it seemed too personal. Her personal life was not the best and while she shouldn’t have been attracted to him, knowing what he was, Lois could not help but feel her heart patter harder in her chest every time she even heard his voice.

The dark-haired man came out, his eyes studying her for a minute before he waved in the client. He was there for a divorce, after five hundred years. Lois did not even want to think about what kind of an arrangement to split assets like that would look like. Surely it would be much more complicated when there were generations of children and centuries of wealth accumulation. It was not something that could be fought in any real court, so they went to Colin to mediate it.

Her eyes flicked to the clock, hoping that it would move faster for her. Her stomach grumbled and though she was used to her new life and job, the smell of blood in the morning never sat well with her. It was an hour till lunch and the hands on the clock mocked her instead of moving like it was supposed to. She fidgeted in her seat. There was nothing for her to do, but wait for noon to get there. When it eventually did, she was out of her seat like a rocket.

“Lois?”

“Yes Sir?”

He groaned and gave her a grimaced look. She couldn’t help but call him Sir. Colin just seemed to personal for her boss. Colin was name that she would scream out at night with him touching her. Her cheeks got red and she couldn’t believe that she was thinking in that way. She had it bad for someone that she could never be with. Seemed about right to Lois.

“Colin, Lois. My name is Colin. Every time you say Sir, I look for my father to walk in. I was hoping you would want to go to lunch with me. You always peel out of here without a word. I think it is time we get to know each other.”

The way he said it made her pause. She wanted nothing more than to get to know him, but she was afraid that she would end up embarrassing herself. Every time she got around him, her IQ went down fifty points and she was left a stuttering fool. “Um, sure.” She sighed to herself. There it goes again.

“Great. Let me just grab my coat and you can ride with me.”

Being alone in a car next to him did not bode well for her intelligence and she hoped that it was going to be a quick trip. “Sure, sounds good.” Fuck, it sounded great, but it would not end the way she had fantasized about it so many times in her head. Humans were not allowed to fraternize with paras, even if they wanted to. With Colin, he would have to marry her to mate her and she knew that it would not happen. With races that were far more worried about bloodlines than humans, there was no way her lineage would be enough, deemed too weak to carry on the lines.

She turned red with her train of thought. Lois knew that she was just dreaming, her employer far too handsome to deny, no matter what he was or capable of doing. All Lois wanted, was to feel his body against her just once, in the way that she needed. Her heart rate was already spiking, her breathing becoming labored as she followed him out into the cool crisp air. He held the door open for her, always the perfect gentlemen. Lois sighed to herself in the car. What did she have to do, to get him to notice her in the way she wanted. Not just as an employee, or some human girl, but a woman that he found enticing?

Pulling the red skirt down that was too short when she stood up, the garment rose dangerously high as she sat back in the low-riding seats. She waited for him to get in, his eyes never straying far from the windshield. How could he not know how much she wanted him?

“You like Italian, right?”

Lois nodded, figuring he was going to take her to the only nice place in town. Of course that would be it, she thought. Guys like Colin, while down to earth, were still filthy rich, unlike everyone else in the small town.

She said nothing as they passed Mataranos in town. It was the only place you could get Italian and she was confused. “I thought we were going there?”

“God no. Have you ever seen Mack wash his hands before?”

Lois crinkled her nose and laughed. “Ew. You know you just ruined the only restaurant in town that I actually liked. I can’t afford it, but you know, I was saving up for it.”

His eyes were sharp for a minute. “Sorry, I didn’t mean anything. I am sure you pay me enough.”

“I do, but I don’t like thinking about you not even being able to afford a meal. How much do I pay you?”

She gave him the number and he honestly looked shocked. “Is that standard?”

“Sadly yes. But you know, the weird factor makes it worth it. And you saved my life, so I figure I would work for less, free even.”

Lois really hoped that he didn’t go with her words. She was already scraping by and any less, she would be homeless.

“I had Cindy in accounting take care of it. She said it was a competitive price.”

“It is, the competition just sucks though.”

“I will take care of it.”

The two fell in silence, her eyes taking in the harbor as they passed and then parked alongside the Marina. His boat came in view and her heart hoped that was where they were going.
