He knew it too. He did it again, this time deliberately catching my nipple on a fingernail. While I was still wincing from the pain, he drew his nails all the way down my stomach. It was amazing as my mind followed, and all the sensation in my body focused on those scratches. It followed them down, the pleasure forming a shaft of pleasure that automatically trailed those claws, and pierced into my stomach. The waistband of my jeans stopped his fingernails, but my pleasure followed the line he made and arrowed to my dick.

I was rock hard.

“Shit,” I gasped and wondered why I had never had someone do that to me before. I stared at Lee. I’d left the lamp on in my bedroom, but it was still dim. I wished for full light so I could see what he was thinking. In the half-light, he was looking like the cat who ate the canary.

“Fuck me, Dave,” he whispered.

Davo.
I opened my mouth to correct him and decided it was unimportant. Yes, he could call me Dave, if he wanted. And now he wanted me to fuck him.
Hell, yes.

“Clothes,” I replied, trying to work out how to get them off him without moving. Wouldn’t it be great to have telekinesis in that sort of situation?

“I’ll do mine. You do yours. Then you do me. Ten seconds? Okay?” he asked.

I nodded once and rolled off him.

Shoes. Socks. Jeans. Underwear. Bye-bye.

Lee scrambled to his feet as I dove for the bedside cabinet full of condoms. I threw the lube in his direction and watched with trembling hands as he thumbed the lid off and squeezed out some clear gel. I was supposed to be putting on a condom, and instead I was enthralled by the sight of Lee putting lube on his arse. He lifted one leg on the bed and reached down between his legs. From my position, I couldn’t see his fingers as his balls were in the way, but it looked like he stroked his fingers down his crack several times, then pushed his middle finger into his center.

“Dave,
c’mon
,” he implored me.

I knew the feeling. Desperation. The condom slid into place, and I moved up behind Lee. He had one knee braced on the mattress, and was leaning over, opening to me and giving me green-light signals the whole way. He reached between his legs again and grasped my cock with his hand, smeared the rest of the lube on my length, and pressed the head of my dick to his rim, showing me where he wanted it. Where he needed it. And that he needed it
immediately
.

I pushed in.

With a groan of pleasure, Lee fell to his elbows on the bed, his face rubbing on the quilt cover. “Yes. All the way,” he encouraged me.

I sank in and loved the feeling of my dick being surrounded by his heat. I pulled back and thrust again, and then again, enjoying the sound of Lee’s cries of pleasure. He was screaming into the bed, which muffled the sound but was probably a good thing. Common walls and neighbors and all.

“God, yes,” I heard him moan. I stopped to smile. He was my perfect partner. Horny, beautiful, eager, courageous, loving, and a bottom.

“Harder?” I asked.

“Make me yours,” he gasped.

I grabbed at his hip bones and slammed home. The slap of skin against skin, and the answering cry of ecstasy from Lee was the perfect soundtrack to the moment. I let go of my thready control, and my body took over, thrusting into my partner. Taking my pleasure with pressure and force. Building my climax and hopefully Lee’s too. I watched my dick slide in and out of him until it was a blur. He was moaning, just an “Ah, ah, ah, ah” as I fucked him. They were definitely sounds of him enjoying himself.

He turned his head to the side so he could breathe, and I could see most of his face. He had his eyes closed, but there was an expression of peace and pleasure on his features. As if this were the greatest feeling on earth, and he wanted to experience every nanosecond of it.

But he was mistaken. The greatest feeling on earth was being inside him.

I slowed enough that I could take one hand off his hip and slide it around the front of his belly. His dick was waving in the air, unloved, and I wanted Lee to come at the same time as me. I stopped all movement and nudged him forward with my body. He obediently placed his other knee on the bed, which changed the angle of our joining and caused us both to moan.

“Hurry,” he panted, so I grasped his dick and applied pressure. “Oh, God, I need to come,” he cried, and I silently seconded that thought.

I thrust my hips into him again, and I felt my climax make those final steps. Yes, this was it.
Here I come, ready or not
.

I moved in a frenzied manner, slamming home and rocking myself forcefully into him. With each thrust, his body slid forward, and his cock slid wetly in my grip.

“Go, go, go, go…,” he chanted. So I did. I let go, giving myself permission to fly. Taking that final step off the edge of that cliff and jumping into the abyss. With a final thrust, I emptied myself into Lee and felt the echoing wetness pulse from the end of his shaft. He continued to rock his body, impaling himself on my hardness and then thrusting into my hand. I locked my knees and tried not to stumble as he found his pleasure.

Then he collapsed. He fell facedown onto the bed, and with his movement, my dick slid almost painfully out of his body. I collapsed beside him.

The room was spinning slightly, so I threw out my arm. It connected it with his back and grounded me. It was simply a forearm touching his back, but it was enough. We were touching. We were together.

“Dave?” he whispered in the silence.

I was reluctant to break the trance I was in. It was like there was a bubble around just the two us. Talking might bring reality in. “Yeah?”

“Did you mean what you said back at Jake’s house?”

I had to command my tired brain to think. But I couldn’t remember. “What did I say?”

I watched him swallow. Then that pink tongue came out to briefly wet his lips. “About taking me out wearing a dress.”

Oh.

“Did you mean it?”

His eyes were wide, pleading with me for something I wasn’t quite sure of. I remembered the words I had used to Maxine, my vow to be
proud
of Lee.

I turned my arm until my knuckles were caressing the skin of his lower back. “Yes, I think I did,” I whispered in the darkness.

Chapter 21

S
UNDAY
MORNING
was chilly and sunny. I made Lee scrambled eggs as a special breakfast and woke him up by pulling the blankets off and trailing kisses up the length of his spine.

“Wakey, wakey, Sleeping Beauty,” I crooned as I reached his neck. “Breakfast is on the table.”

He groaned and buried his head farther under the pillows.

“C’mon,” I coaxed. “I’ve put some trakkie pants and a jumper on the end of the bed for you to wear because Mother Nature has decided winter should be cold. Now get up and have my super-duper scrambled eggs before they get cold. My mum taught me a special recipe and a secret ingredient, so you should feel lucky I’m sharing it with you.”

“What’s super about them?” he asked as he pulled the covers back over him. “What did you put in it?”

I smiled. “The special ingredient? Love. Mum always says love makes things taste better.” I pulled the covers off him for a second time. “C’mon.”

I left him to wake up and returned to the kitchen. I poured the coffee and slid the yellow mixture onto plates. Then I picked up Mr. Magic 8 Ball.

“Will I need to wake Lee again this morning?” I shook the ball and turned it up.

My sources say no.

I smiled and sat at the table, not realizing I was being watched, until he spoke from behind me.

“You really believe that shit, don’t you?” he said as he plonked down on the chair opposite me.

“Huh? What?”

“The Magic 8 Ball. You realize it’s a toy, don’t you?” He picked up his coffee mug and took a sip. Then he screwed up his face. “Ugh. Sugar, darling, sugar. Never feed me coffee without it.”

I laughed and got up to retrieve the sugar bowl. “My Mr. Magic 8 Ball is not a toy,” I said as I pulled the bright yellow bowl from the pantry. “He’s an oracle and is all knowing.”

Lee studied my face for a moment. Then his jaw dropped. “Oh my God. You’re serious.”

His face was disbelieving, so I picked up my oracle on the way by and placed the sugar bowl within Lee’s reach. Then I said, “Is Lee mocking me?”

Signs point to yes.

I showed Lee the answer with a smirk. “He’s never wrong.”

Lee rolled his eyes and started spooning sugar into his cup. “Ask him if he’s ever wrong, then.”

I narrowed my eyes and turned Mr. Magic 8 Ball to the down position. “Mr. Magic 8 Ball, Lee thinks you’re a fake. Tell me, are you ever wrong?”

My reply is no.

I stuck my tongue out in his direction and placed the orb next to the sugar. “See.”

We chatted while we demolished our meal. Then I asked, “So what are your plans for today? It’s going to be bloody freezing, so I was thinking of going for a drive? We’ll head for the hills? What do you think?”

Lee was lingering over his coffee as he said, “I can’t. I’m working at the Drop-In today.”

“The Drop-In?” I asked, unsure of what he was referring to.

“You remember Bobby?” At my nod, he continued. “I think I told you I volunteer as a counselor for a lesbian, gay, and trans youth group? We accept all people—intersex, bisexual, whatever definition you wish to give yourself—but mostly gay and trans are the ones that are our target, because we’ve found these are the people in greater need. Gay and lesbian youth are more likely to be homeless than any other. Most of the time, things are pretty bad at home for them. And for trans youths, it’s even worse.”

“So is it like a Sunday School? Scouts? What does a youth group do?” I said, a little confused.

“No, it’s much more casual than what you’re thinking. It’s really a place to hang out with like-minded people. The Drop-In provides a safe haven where kids can come and get information and talk about challenges they face. We have counseling services available for free, food for those who are homeless, and a place where they can find support and be themselves for a while. As a youth group that’s essentially for homosexual and trans people, we’re up on the latest with laws regarding equality in the workplace, and all about the medical procedures and drugs for transgender individuals. For those who want to transition, they should be taking hormone blockers before they hit puberty. Unfortunately, for trans children who are still under legal custody of their parents, they can often miss this window.”

“So you help them get the drugs?” I asked.

“Gosh, no,” Lee said. “That’s way beyond my training. What I do is mostly listen. I’m someone who they can offload to in a safe environment. I can sympathize with them, give them support, and mostly be someone to worry about them.”

“So if you can’t give them the drugs they need to… transition,” I stumbled over the unfamiliar word, “then what can you do?”

Lee smiled, and it was radiant. There was such happiness and pride in that smile, that I wanted to capture it on film so I could blow it up into a huge picture on my wall.

“Apart from listening to their woes, I mostly give out makeup advice, voice coaching, and some acting tips. For those transitioning to female, I help them with their clothes and tips like… ahh… tucking.” We both snorted as we remembered our first conversation about tucking.

“Those like Bobby, who are attempting for the first time to appear in public as the opposite gender, I give physical support by going with them, helping them choose clothes, and even helping with their posture so they can appear less… obvious. I’m also a fount of information,” he said. “I know all the doctors in Perth who are transgender sympathetic and who—”

“Hang on,” I interrupted. “You mean there are doctors out there who don’t help?”

He rolled his eyes. “Oh my gosh. It can be an emotional rollercoaster. But yes, there are some doctors who, instead of giving medical advice to a trans person, will ask them to pray to God or such rubbish. Some doctors don’t even believe that there is such a thing as transgender.”

I was speechless that a highly educated person, such as a medical professional, could treat a confused and scared teenager like that.

“That’s why I volunteer,” Lee said. “I help out where I can because I care, I believe, and I know some of what they’re going through. I started by hanging out with the guys, playing pool and cleaning up, but then I did a couple of courses, got some qualifications, and now I feel that I can really make a difference.”

“Can I come with you today?”
