Chapter Six

After some food to refuel us and a bit of mindless TV whilst we regained our energy, we found ourselves in my bedroom.

Kissing as we hit the bed, he rolled on top of me before sitting up to take his t-shirt off again. I smiled at the marvellous sight above me. His delicious body was something I’d never tire of seeing.

He lowered back down to me, continuing his massage of my tongue with his. After a couple of minutes, I seized my moment and rolled on top, pinning his arms out to the sides like a set of wings. Seeing the fantastic Paul Connors beneath me, at my mercy, was a sight I’d always remember—and cherish.

He gave me a cheeky wink. “Oooh, dominant. I like it.”

I flashed him my best smile before ghosting a kiss across his lips. Sliding my right hand off the bed, I reached for my play toy.

He furrowed his brows together with questions, and as soon as he clocked the leather restraint wrapped around his wrist, his eyes widened. “Really?”

I grinned like a Cheshire cat. “Oh, come on. Where’s your sense of adventure?”

A slow, lazy grin folded over his lips. “Oh, believe me, there’s nothing wrong with my sense of adventure. I just didn’t think this was you, that’s all.”

“Mr. Connors,” I said, reaching across the other side of the bed to strap the other cuff around his wrist. “You have no idea. You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, you know.”

“I’m definitely looking forward to seeing how this story ends.”

I laughed and crawled down the bed, searching out the ankle restraints that earned me an even bigger smile. Once he was all strapped in, I straddled his waist and grinned at him from my vantage point.

“Still want to see how this ends?” I asked.

“I can assure you, Miss Wilson, I am liking this. A lot.”

“You’re starfished on my bed and you’re liking it?”

He licked his lips. “I’m all for the woman doing all the work.”

I giggled whilst making a mental note he’d pay for that sexist comment. I stripped my dressing gown from me, leaving me naked in front of him. Just what I wanted.

I moved my way up his body and sat on his chest, just out of reach of his mouth.

“Oh, come on, play fair. You can’t sit there and expect me to not want to lick you.”

I reached over him and grabbed my final toy—the cherry on the cake to his look. “I would say watch me but…”

He pouted as I put the blindfold on. “You’re mean. You’re going to pay for this.”

I leaned into his ear, whispering, “As are you for your sexist remark, Mr. Connors.”

Finishing my point with a nibble of his earlobe, I sat back up, grinning as I began my torturous assault on him.

I moved off him and leaned over to the bedside drawer that housed my stash of toys. I grabbed a long white feather and grinned. I moved back next to him and waited several seconds. He knew I was there, knew I was going to touch him. It was just a matter of when and how.

His lips parted after a few seconds and his chest began to rise and fall with shallow breaths. Anticipation heightened everything. I trailed the tip of the feather across his stomach and stifled a laugh as he jerked. The rope attached to the restraints creaked from the sudden tug on them. I left it a few seconds before repeating the gentle touch over his chest, achieving the same reaction.

I smirked to myself. This was going to be a fabulous night. I repeated the process over every inch of him, enjoying every second of his trembling body. The whispering moans leaving him every minute or so only excited me more.

I put the feather down and ran my nails along his inner thigh, biting my lip in delight when he jumped with a groan of pleasure. Skirting across his loins, I traced my fingers along his other thigh and then over the rest of his exquisite body.

Now satisfied with his excited shivers, I sat between his legs, tracing the path of my nails with my lips. Squeaking rope combined with a few choice words floated through the air as he shuddered beneath me. I worked my way up and down his fine form before leaving him wondering for a brief moment once more. And then I cupped him in my hands.

He juddered and pulled against his restraints, moaning with heavy breaths. I massaged him between my fingers with a slow, gentle kneading. His mind busy with that, I leaned forwards and kissed my way along the grooves of his groin—careful to avoid touching his excitement.

I kissed my way down his loins, not able to take my eyes off the sexy V pointing towards my prize. But that could wait for a while longer. Instead, I replaced my hands with my mouth and clasped his tight skin between my lips. I took my time to draw patterns on him, sucking on him to keep the skin as loose as possible.

He jerked and a resounding snap pinged through the air along with a hiss from between his lips. “Fuck.”

I smiled and let go, kissing his thigh as I teased my way up to the main prize. I traced my tongue around his length before treating him to the knowledge I had no gag reflex.

“Jesus Christ, Kyra.”

I parted my lips and smiled at his hoarse voice and heaving chest. I tormented him with my tongue whilst my hand stroked him at the same time. He squirmed, his hips bucking under my touch. Swear words murmured through the air every few seconds.

“What the fuck are you doing to me?”

I grinned, flicking my tongue over his end as I released him from my hold. “Making you feel good?”

He nodded, his teeth biting into his lip as a groan rumbled in his throat.

A wicked smile passed over my lips as I straddled him, removing the blindfold. He blinked a few times, his eyes settling on me with an animalistic hunger. I held his eye contact and slipped my index finger inside my mouth. I left my lips open as I wrapped my tongue around it, treating him to the view of what I’d done to him only moments ago.

His body tensed and he drew in a deep breath. I licked my lips and threw my head back, trailing my finger down my body. I skated over my chest before placing it back in my mouth. I ran my free hand through my hair and allowed my index finger to fall between my legs.

“You’d better hope I don’t get out of these, young lady.”

I batted my eyelashes, showing him my best innocent look. “Why’s that?”

He grinned. “You’ll see.”

I gave him a cheeky wink and kneeled over his face, giving him the perfect view of what my finger was currently doing.

“Kyra, I swear to God, if I get out of these, you’re not going to walk for a week.”

I gifted him a winning smile. “I think you’re a bit tied up, baby.”

His jaw clenched and his eyes moved back between my legs, entranced by what I was doing to myself. His breaths came in short, shallow rasps. He glanced back up at me, his entire demeanour a dangerous mix of lust and frustration.

“Don’t say I didn’t warn you,” he said.

I looked down in horror to see him pulling against the restraints with all his might. His muscles flexed under the strain, his face turning red from the force he was exerting on them. After a few seconds, the thin D rings that held the rope to the cuffs pinged with a heart-stopping jingle.

A surge of adrenaline shot through me as he sat up, grinning like he’d just won the lottery.

“Hello.”

I whimpered. “Hi.”

He flashed me a wicked smile. His hands crawled round my back, drawing me closer to him. He kissed me, slipping his tongue inside my mouth as he rolled on top of me. Once he broke our kiss, he flipped me on my front, chuckling at my shriek of surprise.

He dragged my backside upwards towards him and wrapped my long hair around his wrist. His free hand gripped my shoulder as he circled his hips around me before pushing himself inside. I choked on my sharp inhale of breath as he reached my inner depths, tiny explosions already beginning to spark.

He pulled back on my hair as he started moving in and out of me at an ever increasing pace. My entire body screamed with pleasure as he hit all the right spots. I grabbed at the duvet, needing something to hold onto as my core began to build that familiar wave, ready to drown me once again.

His ragged breathing combined with the sound of our bodies hitting each other over and over again pushed me closer and closer to my edge. The sheer carnal nature of the raw, hungry lust between us set me on a heavenly spiral.

He released my hair, holding onto my shoulder as he drove himself deeper and faster inside me. My core tightened around him as my blissful release came ever closer with each stroke of heaven he delivered.

He moved a hand down to my chest, caressing me to further heights of heaven. A throbbing tingle exploded between my legs and I finally let go, my head whirling in serene pleasures. He thrust inside me a handful more times before he stilled, exhaling as he collapsed onto my back, panting for breath.

After a minute or so, he moved away from me, flopping onto the bed with a big grin. His twinkling eyes locked onto mine as he laughed. “I did warn you.”

I grinned. “I’m not complaining.”

He raised his arms in the air, shaking his wrists with the cuffs still attached. “Think you need some new ones. Extra strong perhaps.”

I laughed and shook my head, rolling underneath the duvet.

He joined me, curling his arms around me. “I wasn’t too rough, was I?”

I frowned. “No. I can take a bit of rough.”

He chuckled. “I’m not even going to respond to that.” He squeezed me tighter as he kissed my head. “You mind if I join you for a good night’s sleep?”

I smiled and gladly shook my head. I tried my hardest not to dissect this too much as I fell asleep in the most perfect pair of arms I could ever wish for.

Chapter Seven

A smooth voice woke me from my peaceful slumber. “Good morning, gorgeous.”

I rolled over, smiling. “Morning yourself.”

“You feeling okay?”

I nodded, shivering as he trailed his fingers down my stomach. “You?”

He leaned over and kissed me. “Better than ever.”

I rolled back over in an attempt to climb out of bed but his hands snaked around my middle. He began spreading kisses all over my back and pulled me back against him. I closed my eyes in anticipation of what was to come next and relaxed.

He worked his way up and down my back before kissing his way across my shoulders and over my neck. I moaned against him as his hand wandered between my legs.

He slipped himself between my legs and whispered in my ear, “You always so ready?”

I blushed as I reached backwards to touch him. “You turn me on.”

He slid inside me and nipped at my shoulder. “I think that’s the best news I’ve heard yet.”

He moved with a slow, teasing rhythm, coaxing me to that blissful place I so adored. His hands glided over my chest while his sweet lips continued to bless me with kisses. I reached behind me and raked my hands through his hair, pulling him down closer to me. All the amazing sensations flooding me at once was nothing short of pure ecstasy.

He picked up the pace and lowered his hand to my sensitive spot. He started playing, teasing me even more as he matched the rhythm of his fingers to that of his hips. My delicious release was climbing a slow incline as he continued his lazy, purposeful pace.

I succumbed to the buzz coursing through me, wishing I could lie like this for days with him. The wonders he submitted me to were just incredible. He continued his unhurried speed, nursing me all the way to my edge, his own enjoyment spilling into me as I tightened around him with my leisurely fall.

He kissed my shoulders and ran his fingers down my body. “I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you.”

A burst of pride obliterated my insides at hearing his words. “Ditto.”

Obliterating our sexy Sunday morning into a million pieces, the shrill ringing of his phone interrupted anything further. He groaned as he rolled over and grabbed it from his jeans.

“Shit.” He leaped out of bed, pulling his jeans on as he greeted the caller. “Hi, Dad…”

I frowned at his worried tone of voice, wondering what the problem was.

“Yes, Dad…no, Dad…yes, okay…I’m sorry, okay? I left my phone on silent in my pocket. No, I’m not…yes…yes, okay…bye.”

He stuffed his phone back in his pocket as he ran his hands through his hair with a big sigh. He took a deep breath before turning back around. A streak of panic and stress now edged his handsome face. I’d never seen anything of the sort on him and it definitely wasn’t a look that suited him.

“Everything okay?” I asked.

He smiled but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Yeah, it’s fine.” He pulled his t-shirt on before searching for his socks. “Listen, I hate to kiss and run but I really need to go.”

I smiled, trying to hide my disappointment. “It’s fine. No doubt I’ll have Molly ringing soon anyway.”

He leaned over, giving me a deep kiss. “I’ll call you later, okay?”

I nodded, faking a smile.

With that, he was bounding down the stairs before roaring down the street in his car.

All day Sunday I watched my phone, eager for any call or text I may receive from him. I ventured round Molly’s to give her as few of the details as possible, staying for tea to help take my mind off the ever absent Paul. How could a guy have such a profound effect on me? Usually I enjoyed my freedom more than being with a man, yet here I was, moping because one hadn’t called.

I awoke Monday morning grabbing at my phone, hoping to see a text or missed call whilst I’d been asleep but there was nothing. My heart started pounding and I began to panic about the day ahead. I cursed myself for even thinking it could be anything other than a one-night stand. Now, I fitted the bill of the slutty PA who slept with her boss.

Thoughts of people finding out or the directors calling me in for a disciplinary meeting flooded my mind. I almost had a panic attack once the possibility of being sacked hit me. I loved this job, it was the position I came to after my accident with Scotch. I guessed you could say it was sentimental.

Ignoring it all, I convinced myself to stop being a drama queen. There would be a reasonable explanation for his lack of communication. I made my way to work, walking to my desk with my breath held. I calmed to a degree when I saw no one in yet. After making a hot cup of tea, I felt able to face the world.

I was almost halfway through my cup of tea when Paul came in. He breezed into the room, heading straight for his office, and closed the door behind him without so much of a look at me.

My anger began boiling, filtering through every cell of my body. How dare he treat me like this. Who did he think he was? On the verge of barging into his office full of fury, I jumped when he opened his door, sending a stern look my way.

“Kyra, have you got a minute?”

My heart started racing as I edged towards him. His eyes were difficult to read this morning, giving nothing away. I entered his office, grinding my teeth as he closed the door behind me. As I turned to face him, he cupped my face in his hands, gifting me with a tender kiss. I became lost all over again as he made my knees buckle with his invigorating scent and divine touches.

“Good morning, beautiful. You look rather radiant today.”

I smiled, letting out a sigh of relief. “Morning.”

“I’m so sorry I didn’t call you yesterday. I bet you thought the worst of me by this morning, didn’t you?”

I folded my arms across my chest. “I think it was well deserved.”

His hands trailed down my arms before settling in the curves of my waist. “I’m sorry…” He nuzzled into my neck, leaving gentle kisses on my skin. “You smell so good…” His teeth nibbled at me, sending shivers down my spine. “You taste so good…” He ran his hands up and down my body. “You feel so good…” He worked his way back to my lips, kissing me with a deep passion. “Is there anything not good about you?”

Despite floating on cloud nine, my sarcasm couldn’t be helped. “Yes. My temper when I don’t get a call.”

He grinned, opening his mouth to say something when the outer office door banged shut, making me jump.

“Where’s Kyra?” I heard Andrews ask.

Whoever he was with said nothing.

“Hmmm,” Andrews said. “Is Paul in?”

We heard footsteps closing in, sending me into panic mode as I smoothed out my clothes, forgetting my flustered cheeks. Paul stayed cool, opening the door before Andrews did.

“Ahh, Paul,” he said. “Kyra, I wondered where you were, dear. Could I have five minutes when Paul is finished with you, please?”

I nodded to him, struggling not to smirk as I thought of how long Paul could be before he was finished with me.

Paul nodded. “I’ll be done in a few minutes, John.”

Closing the door, he turned back to me, grinning. “Now, shall we finish up here?”

A broad smile folded across my face as I submitted myself to his blissful kisses once more.

Just as the clock struck lunchtime, my phone rang from an outside line. I frowned, wondering who it could be.

“Hello. Kyra speaking.”

A deep voice laughed down the line. “Well hello, young lady.”

I squealed in delight. “Ashley! Is that really you?”

“The one and only, my lovely. What time is your lunch?”

“Now. Why?”

“I’m outside.”

I charged out of the door like a bull in a china shop, taking the stairs two at a time, nearly breaking my ankle several times.

He stood outside my work’s entrance, opening his arms for a giant hug. I ran straight to him, screaming with joy. He picked me up, swinging me round before kissing my cheek.

“What are you doing here? You said you wouldn’t be back until the weekend.”

He put me down with a big grin. “I wanted to surprise you.”

I grinned, grabbing his hand. “Come on. We have lots to talk about.”

***

Ashley was my gay older brother. You wouldn’t have a clue he was gay unless someone told you. His whole persona was very macho, alpha male type. Combined with his good looks, natural charm, and excellent dress sense, he was always batting away female attention. He’d been away travelling for just over a year in Australia. We’d had little contact throughout, which had been hard as we’d always been close. Our father died a good few years ago and our mum remarried and moved to America, leaving just me and him against the world.

We sat for lunch at the café across the street. I filled him in on my latest goings on with bubbling excitement. As I was telling him about Paul, right on cue, he emerged from work, making his way to the sandwich shop down the street. I pointed him out with a broad smile.

Ashley raised an eyebrow at me. “That’s him?”

I nodded, giggling.

He winked at me. “Well, he’s a bit of all right, Ky. You’ve done all right there.”

“You know what I’m like, Ash. It’s only a fling.”

He lowered his voice and looked at me with pursed lips. “Ky, I know your usual look when it comes to men and that isn’t one of them. Have you finally met a guy you want a proper relationship with?”

I shrugged my shoulders, smiling. “I don’t know, we’ll see.”

“Aww look at my lil sis, all fussed up over a guy—finally.”

“Shut up.”

He chuckled to himself as he walked me back to work. He kissed my cheek before he left, confirming he was coming round for tea tonight. I couldn’t wait.

I headed straight to the kitchen for a cup of tea, grinning away to myself as I thought of Ashley. I loved my brother to pieces. I couldn’t believe he was finally back.

I turned around to head back to my desk, jumping when I saw Paul standing in the doorway, his arms crossed over his chest as he leaned against the doorframe.

“So, who’s the hunk, then?” he asked.

I smirked, intending to play on this. “You saw him, then?”

He nodded. “It was kinda hard not to miss him giving you a loving kiss before he left you at the front door.”

I bit my lip to curb the laugh creeping up my throat. “Scared you might have some competition?”

He licked his lips before he smiled. “I think you should be worried of the competition.”

My playful mood dropped like a stone through water as I took his statement to mean he had a woman in his life. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

“He’s gay, Kyra. It stands out a mile off.”

Feeling more than relieved at that answer, I gave the truth. “He’s my brother. And yes, he is gay. How did you know? He does so well to hide it.”

He shrugged his shoulders. “I’ve met my fair share over the years.”

I raised my eyebrows, probing for an explanation, but he didn’t give one.

“What are you doing tonight?” he asked.

“Having tea with my brother.”

“Oh, okay. I was going to ask if I could see you, that’s all. I don’t have much spare time this weekend.”

“Well, I don’t know what time we’ll be done but you could come over afterwards if you wanted?”

He smiled, dropping his arms to his sides. “No, it’s okay. I’ll leave you to it. I’ll book you in for tomorrow night instead?”

I grinned and agreed, already looking forward to it.

Ashley was full of it when we went out for tea. He owned a house, which he’d rented out whilst he was away travelling. The tenants moved out last week so he’d obviously known for ages when he was coming back. He just enjoyed teasing me and telling me otherwise. I filled him in on all the details with Paul and informed him of Molly’s latest development.

He scowled. “That girl is something else. She can’t keep her legs shut for more than two minutes. She’s the definitive meaning of Tesco—open twenty-four seven. She’ll never get married, especially not to him.”

“Ash, that’s a bit harsh. She just enjoys herself. She’s a good friend to me.”

He downed the rest of his beer before looking me square in the eye. “That girl is trouble, Ky. You mark my words.”
