The Bear Prince: A BBW Bear Shifter Billionaire Paranormal Romance Novella (Seattle's Billionaire Bears Book 3) (9 page)

...She bucked her hips.

“Oops,” said Crystal meekly. “It wasn’t on purpose!”

“I’m sure it wasn’t,” said Damien, and that’s when he gripped Crystals thighs and spread them. “And that’s how I know you’re abso-fucking-lutely ready for this.”

He pressed into Crystal slowly, letting her feel every last inch of him, as he filled her, easily getting his whole shaft into her, until his base was at her entrance, before he pulled out.

Damien leaned in, and whispered into Crystal’s ear...“One.”

“Damn you, Damien,” said Crystal, wrapping her arms around Damien’s neck and pulling him close. Damien pressed into her and she gripped onto him even harder. “Damn you for making me feel this horny.”

“And damn you double for making me feel this hard,” said Damien, pulling out, before whispering, “Two.”

He pressed in again, and pulled out, this time, a little faster. “Three.”

“Four.” Crystal’s arms wrapped hard around Damien’s body as he said the number, her nails digging into his back as he felt her breath become more rapid.

Crystal couldn’t believe it. Damien was a cocky bastard, but he’d really had a good reason to be...he knew how to please a woman, how to put on a show, and how to be an absolutely pornographic lover. Yes, she’d enjoyed the show, even with the twists and turns, and had learned to trust that Damien really did know what to do with her body, how to handle every curve on the racetrack that was her body, as he’d traversed every lush hill and valley with equal and ample skill. He’d brought her to the point of needing his cock so badly that her body would do whatever it took to get it inside of her hole, and now...he was close to making her body do something else...

“Five.” Damien pushed back in again, and held, feeling Crystal’s body clench around his cock, as if it was trying to lock it into her. Pulling out was hard, physically and mentally, but he managed to do it. The side effect of bringing Crystal so close to the edge? He’d had to get to that edge with her, and they were two people on the cliffs of pleasure, both ready to take a plunge into an ocean of orgasms. The only question was, who would jump first?

“Six.” As Damien pressed back into her, Crystal felt every last inch of him filling her. Her parts were hypersensitive because they’d been denied this treat. By making her wait, Damien had made her body even more desiring of his shaft, and her love canal was wet enough to take every inch of Damien with ease.

“Seven,” moaned Damien, before he had to let out a small sigh to catch his breath. Crystal’s body was too good, making him harder with every stroke. He felt himself breaking out into a sweat as he made a concerted effort to hold back what his balls had been yearning to let loose since he first met Crystal that fated afternoon.

“Eight.” Damien could barely get the word out, and Crystal could barely hear it, because by now, she could’ve been wearing that blindfold, and ear plugs to boot, for all she cared, because the only thing she could really think about was that immense pleasure that Damien was making her feel as he pressed into her, over and over, the tip of his cock rubbing against her G-spot...

“Nine.” Damien knew he was close...

“Ten.” But he had no idea just how close Crystal was...

“Eleven.” But Crystal did...

“Twelve...” said Damien as he pulled out slowly before pressing in again.

“Oh, Damien,” moaned Crystal, as she felt herself feel that warm, glowing feeling again. It hadn’t even taken twenty strokes to get her there. The feeling spread through her whole body and she gripped onto Damien even tighter at first. Then, as her limbs turned to jelly, she had to let go and instead, try and grip the sheets, as she could barely control her body anymore as the orgasm spread from her core to her fingers and toes, filling her entire body with pleasure. “Oh, Damien!”

“That’s right,” said Damien, pressing back into Crystal, no longer counting the strokes, just pressing in and out of her to make sure she’d keep coming. The bear in him roared. He was close to cumming, and therefore, close to the moment of truth, and both the man and the bear knew it. This was going to be the moment that let him know whether or not the woman he was sure was more than just a lover was really...his fated mate.

Damien could hold back no longer. He gripped onto Crystal, keeping her steady as he pumped, and with a press, came inside of her, filling her with his hot seed as he couldn’t help but moan her name slowly.

As Damien came inside of Crystal, the mark on his chest started to undergo a change. It was like Damien’s skin was being lit from within with a fire. The facets of the tattoo, the space between the black line work, started to turn different colors. Red, orange, even a bright yellow, which glowed through his skin, and then, faded...but that wasn’t all. The tattoo itself was starting to change, the ink in the tattoo changing colors entirely...starting from the center of the tattoo, the ink, which was usually black, started to turn a brilliant white, only leaving black on the very edges of the line work, the thick black lines turning into white lines that were barely outlined in black.

The bear in Damien got on its hind legs and roared, making Damien’s deep brown eyes flash a strange brilliant green. This was it: there was no confusing Crystal for anyone else. She was truly his fated mate, the one he was meant to be with, and the bear and his body knew it, as he kept unleashing the largest load he’d ever had, right into the curvy woman whose climax just seemed to have absolutely no end.

Crystal reached up and touched the strange tattoo as it changed before her very eyes. She’d never had sex with a shifter before, but she sure wasn’t expecting these kinds of fireworks. Damien kept pressing into her, extending her climax far after he’d reached his end, and as finally, her body calmed down, Damien pulled out of her.

“What the heck was that?” asked Crystal as Damien rolled onto the bed next to her. Damien’s brow was wet with sweat and his hair was sticky and clumped together. He looked absolutely exhausted.

Shit.
Damien remembered he hadn’t told Crystal what he’d told himself he was going to tell her. He truly wanted to, and was planning on doing it after the movie at the park, but then, the wolves had ruined his plan, and everything got thrown off course...and to tell her now, well, it was really not the best time. He was tired, and they had just frikkin’ had sex for the first time.

“Trust me, I’ve...I’ve got a lot to explain to you tomorrow,” said Damien, before yawning and mopping his face with the other side of his pillow. “And I’m too tired to do it tonight. Shifting, fighting, and mating, it all took a lot out of me.”

Mating?
Crystal thought that was a weird way to refer to having sex, but she wasn’t about to push it. “Alright, sleepyhead,” said Crystal, before she got up to get cleaned up.
Mating
. What a weird word. Damien’s tattoo was unlike any she’d seen before, but Damien was also unlike any man she’d met before. She was sure he’d be able to explain it all tomorrow.

Exhausted, Crystal got back into bed and Damien got up to use the bathroom. Damien got up to clean up quickly and turn off the lights before he got back in bed with Crystal, holding her tight and spooning her, his chin in the crook of her neck, his legs surrounding hers, their limbs tangling until it was as if they were one tree that only appeared, on first glance, to be two. The pair fell asleep, with only sweet dreams filling their tired heads.

Chapter Seven

C
rystal woke up on Saturday morning to the smell of pancakes and the sound of her ringtone, in a bed that she’d never woken up in before. Surrounded by green sheets and pillows, the soft light of the sun warming the bedding, a light breeze moving the lacy curtains over the window, she thought she’d died or gone to heaven, or at least, into a furniture catalogue, before she rubbed her eyes and remembered what had happened last night. The soreness in her thighs reminded her of the party that had gone on in this bed just hours earlier. Apparently Damien had let her sleep in: could this guy get any more perfect?

The ringtone stopped, and then started up again. Crystal slipped on one of Damien’s large shirts and went through her purse to find her phone. She was getting a call from Tangie.

“Tangie?” said Crystal. “What’s up? I was going to text you about getting drinks tonight. You wouldn’t believe the night I’ve had.”

“Crystal, that can wait, I’ve been calling you non-stop for like an hour,” said Tangie.

“Is everything okay?” asked Crystal, sitting down on the guest bed.

“Everything up in Seattle is fine, don’t worry,” asked Tangie. “It’s just...well, I’ll just come out and say it. How come you didn’t tell me you were dating a billionaire? I’m your best friend! You know you can tell me anything.”

Crystal couldn’t help from laughing. “What on Earth are you frikkin’ talking about? I’m not dating a billionaire.”

“You sure? Because the front page of the tabloid has a picture of a girl that looks
just
like you holding hands with a guy who looks a lot like the guy you described to me,” said Crystal.

“Okay, what’s this cover look like?” asked Crystal. She couldn’t believe that she was entertaining Tangie’s fantasy, but this had to be some sort of dumb prank.

“Alright, the picture is from last week,” said Tangie. “The girl in the picture is definitely you, same hair, same build, and you’re wearing a navy blue dress with lace details and some navy and black flats, with a black fur bolero.”

“You know I own that dress and that jacket,” said Crystal.

“Okay, but the guy, he’s wearing like, a grey suit,” said Tangie.

Crystal gulped. To be fair that could describe any guy in Seattle, but that was what he’d been wearing on their date. “Tangie...can you send me a picture of the cover?”

“Check your messages, I already did,” said Tangie.

“Give me a second, then,” said Crystal.

She opened up her messages app. There were a ton of messages from a bevy of people: her boss, her friends, and worst of all, her parents, who didn’t text if they could help it. She’d get to those later. There was a new message from Tangie. She clicked on it. Tons of stuff that had been said in the phone conversation were also covered in the text conversation...but in the middle, there was a large picture alert that needed permission to be downloaded. Crystal hit download, and it seemed like the download took forever, even though it only took a minute or so. Once the file was downloaded, she opened it.

The picture was of the front cover of a tabloid called
Scandal in Seattle
. Crystal knew a few people that had interned there that were working in her office. The couple on the picture was definitely her and Damien, and the headline said, “Billionaire Damien Dixon Spotted With Mystery Woman: Who Is She?”.

“Tangie, you still there?” asked Crystal.

“Yeah,” said Tangie. “So is that you?”

“It is...but I had no idea that Damien was a billionaire,” said Crystal, feeling her stomach fill with butterflies. “Why would he hide that?”

“I have no clue,” said Tangie. “What’re you going to do?”

“I can’t stay with someone who lied to me about something like this,” said Crystal. “He should have just told me who he is...the fact he hid it from me means he thinks I’m a gold digger, or at least, that’s what he used to think. I can’t be with someone who assumes that’s why I’m interested in them. That’s not okay.”

Crystal stormed into the kitchen. “Sup babe?” he asked before looking up from the chopping board, where he was slicing strawberries. “Crystal...what’s wrong?”

“What’s wrong?” asked Crystal. “You have the frikkin’ balls to ask me what the frik is wrong? Maybe this’ll answer your question.” She pressed her phone’s home button, opened the image gallery, and turned the phone to Damien.

Damien took the phone from Crystal. What he saw was the exact thing he hoped he’d never see.
Scandal in Seattle
was the shifter celebrity gossip rag that was in every convenience store, grocery checkout aisle, and news stand in the city, and there would’ve been no way for Crystal to avoid seeing this cover if she tried. There they were on the cover; him, looking at her like he’d never looked at anyone before, and Crystal looking at him as if she had no idea he was a billionaire. It took all of Damien’s strength to hold himself back and stop himself from crunching her phone into dust.

“Crystal...I can explain,” said Damien.

“Explain what?” asked Crystal, pocketing her phone after taking it back from Damien. “How can you possibly explain the fact that you lied to me in order to get me to go on three dates with you? And how can you possibly apologize for breaking my heart?”

“Crystal...I just did what I thought I had to do,” said Damien.

“You did what you had to do to protect yourself,” said Crystal. “But the fact that you could even for a second assume that I was what, a gold digger? That’s what insults me, that’s what hurts me, more than any two-bit rag ever could. I can’t be with someone who can’t be honest with me, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a girl that’ll want to be with a man who can’t even be honest to himself.”

Crystal turned to go up the stairs and Damien turned quickly to follow after her. Crystal went into the bedroom and didn’t even bother to close the door. She started to pack up her overnight bag, just shoving items in willy-nilly, while Damien stood over her. She could feel his hot breath against her. “Crystal. Baby. Talk to me,” ordered Damien. “You can’t just shut me out like this.”

“I can’t shut you out?” asked Crystal. “That’s rich, Damien, real rich. Richer than that fortune of yours you were so afraid I would steal. I’m going back to Seattle. By myself.”

“Do you have any idea how much that would cost?” asked Damien.

“I don’t care. I can’t stand being here, not for another second, not with you.”

“Fine, at least let me order you a cab,” said Damien.

“I’d rather walk to Seattle, in the rain, across broken glass and razorblades, than accept help from you,” said Crystal. “Believe it or not, I have money of my own to spend.” Crystal, with her duffel bag packed and slung around her shoulder along with her purse, walked downstairs, to the porch, and started down the dirt road leading to town.
