He lifted her legs up, staring her in her eyes the entire time as he edged closer to her wetness. She was lost in ecstasy and he loved that it was him taking her there. She looked perfect as her face flushed with passion.
He buried his face in her pussy. Her hands came instantly to his hair, grabbing fistfuls as she held on for dear life. Her hips began to move, keeping rhythm with his tongue. He sucked on her clit and reached up to pinch her nipples as she bucked between his lips.
"Vance... I..." She gasped as tiny shudders quivered through her. Her fingers tightened as he teased her. His mouth remained rooted between her legs. Each time she twitched from pleasure, her own throbbing clit rubbed against the scorching silky tongue between her, sending her higher towards new dizzying heights.
Her legs began to shake and she locked them around his neck, holding on for dear life.
“Yes baby, oh don’t stop.”
He sped up his speed and was rewarded when she seized up as her orgasm took over her. Warmth gushed between her legs and she both heard and felt Vance's hungry mouth lapping up every drop of nectar, not willing to waste a drop.
She was breathing hard as she fell back down from her apex and looked at him with a smile.
“You have a wicked tongue.”
Vance stood and undid the belt to his pants. The red crown nodded and throbbed in the warm air between them. A translucent pearl hung at its tip and threatened to drip down. Grabbing himself, he looked down at Elissa.
“Open up baby.”
Elissa obeyed immediately. He lowered himself to her thighs. His cock was thick and heavy as he placed its searing hot head at her wet entrance.
He started slow and Elissa reveled in feeling along her slick walls.
She forgot that he was entering her. It was as if there were no barriers between the two of them. Two became one and for a moment Elissa could
feel
Vance's own pleasure as the ridges of his cock moved inside her.
He lifted a leg over his shoulder to go deeper. She wanted him to stay inside her forever.
"Oh Vance." She cried as he pistoned between her legs, burying himself to the hilt with every thrust.
Growling, he hooked his arms beneath her and stood up with her body still locked on his. His hands gripped her ass--fingers kneading the ample flesh--and bounced her up and down, letting gravity drive him deeper still inside.
Her head rolled back and her long hair brushed his thighs. Her breasts were pressed against his iron-hard chest as waves of pleasure coursed from her nipples. Their lips locked. Tongues coaxed each other and she tasted herself as he drained the air from her lungs.
He swallowed her cries of pleasure as she came. Spasm after spasm shook her but he wasn't finished. It seemed like it would go on forever. When he finally came, she was butter in his hands, spread thin, spent, and yet satisfied beyond measure.
“Elissa?”
She played with the tuft of hair on his chest and kissed a nipple. “Yeah?”
“You okay, love?”
“Yeah. Just a little tired.” She smiled. “You sure do know how to please a woman.”
“Only you.”
“Oh, sweet talker.” She sat up and smiled. She leaned down and kissed him. “But payback’s a bitch.”

Over the next week, Vance spent as much time as he could with Elissa. When he couldn’t be with her, he had Caleb and Matt there watching over her. They hadn’t seen any more of the men who had been following Elissa. He wasn’t a fool as to think they were gone for good. They had been watching her for a reason and him coming along wasn’t going to stop them from getting what they wanted.

Elissa was working the late shift at the bar. She was laughing with a customer who had had a little bit too much to drink. The man thought he was a comedian.
“Okay, Okay. What did the casket say to the other casket?” He asked.
“I’m almost scared to hear the answer.” She giggled.
“It said, is that you coffin. Get it? Coughing?” He doubled over in laughter. “I read that on a piece of candy the other day.”
“Well good for you.” She took off her half apron and went around to clock out. She was ready to lie down and catch a few winks. She had been going strong with Vance, which didn’t allow for much sleep.
She grabbed her purse and headed for the exit. She looked across the crowded parking lot. She kicked herself for parking so far away. Pulling her coat around her shoulders, she started to cross. She was halfway there when she heard footsteps behind her. She didn’t look back, not wanting to draw attention to herself, but sped up nonetheless.
She didn’t make it ten feet before a hand covered her mouth. She screamed but it was muffled. No one heard her. She fought her attacker, trying to free herself. It was no use. The more she fought, the tighter the grip became on her forearm. She heard a car pull up on her left.
“Open the door.” The man barked.
A door to a van opened and Elissa was thrust toward it. The last thing she heard before she as thrown to the ground was a growl. Looking to her right, Elissa had a moment of fear.
A huge grey dog (or was it a wolf?) stood no more than three feet from her. She opened her mouth to scream again, but the wolf moved in between her and the man who had held her.
The growling got louder. The wolf-dog bared his teeth and charged. He landed right on top of the man.
She couldn’t witness someone get torn to shreds, even if he did attack her. She turned her head. She heard a cry of pain and was sure the wolf had killed the man. The man who had grabbed her rushed out of the van and launched himself at the wolf. They rolled away with the man coming out on top. His eyes burned bright gold and she could swear there were claws on his hands. He swung at the grey wolf-dog and the beast howled in pain. But it regained its footing and charged forward, closing its jaws around the man's hand. A blur and it was shaken off but it rushed the man. Elissa closed her eyes and heard a loud crunch as the man howled in pain.
Elissa was frozen. She didn’t want to move, fearing that the wolf-dog might notice her and turn his attention on him.
Oh God please let this be over
, she thought.
The man who grabbed her limped to the van. The other man was on his feet. Again she saw those glowing eyes. The man hit the wolf in the face and sent the wolf stumbling to the ground. Snarling, the wolf scrambled to its feet and leaped again, its bloody snout heading for the man's throat. The man turned at the last second, and the wolf skidded to the other side of the van.
The two men wasted no time. The rushed inside the car and slammed the doors shut. Tires screeched and the van sped off.
The wolf-dog stared after the van for a few seconds. Elissa was slowly inching her way to her car. The wolf-dog's head turned and Elissa froze, her eyes wide as saucers.
I’m going to die.
The thought passed through her head as the wolf-dog walked towards her. She had never seen anything like it. Its paws were the size of plates. How those men got away with their lives she did not know.
The wolf-dog stopped right in front of her. She tried not to look it in the eyes in fear of provoking its anger.
The wolf-dog just stared. She didn’t know why, but he seemed to be studying her. Elissa’s confusion intensified when the wolf whimpered and lay down on the ground.
Very slowly, Elissa moved toward her car. The wolf-dog limped towards her, keeping his head low the entire time.
When she was within reach of her car, Elissa made a run for the driver's side door. She made it inside and slammed the door at the same time she started the engine. She never once looked at the wolf again.
She didn’t know what was going on, didn’t know who were the men that tried to take her or where that wolf had come from. But she sure as hell wasn’t sticking around to investigate.

Vance watched the car speed off. He could still feel her panic flowing through his veins. He had seen Wilkos' men follow her and he came out of the bar behind her. Luckily there had been a dark corner for him to shift in.
The men almost had her in the van just as Vance reached them. He threw his
blaeja
as he tore through the air, not wanting bystanders to be witness to the struggle.
He injured both men and was cursing himself for over shooting his last leap and letting the sons-of-bitches get away. It was a luxury they would only get once.
Shifting back to his human form, he walked to his Camero and grabbed a pair of sweats he had in the back.
He never wanted her to fear him or his wolf. But that’s exactly what happened that night. How was he to tell her, explain everything to her, if she feared him? Would she reject him? Turn him away? He rested his head on the back of the seat. He could see now that he had a long road ahead of him.

Ira burst through the office door. Yancy was leaning heavily on his arm, bleeding.
“What the hell happened?’ Patrick roared.
“She was being watched.” Ira said laid Yancy on the couch. “We saw the two Betas leave. We watched her for a couple of hours and nothing. They didn’t come back and we didn’t smell any replacements.”
“But that bastard Weiss was there.” Yancy grunted and winced. “He attacked right before we had her in the van.” He laid back and closed his eyes. His body was already healing, the pain would linger.
Patrick was silent for a while. His blood boiled but he had no desire to lose it in front of his men. Taking a deep breath he turned to them.
“The future of this pack depends on this woman. The Seekers have seen her in the streams. She is special. Understand?" He stood up and bared his filed teeth. "If Weiss wants to involve himself, so be it. I'll rip his mongrel hide from his skin and wear it as a coat."
"You don't mean to..." Ira started.
"Weiss just raised the stakes. Call the pack. If it's a war he wants, then it's a war he'll get."

Elissa turned every light on in her house that night and clutched the biggest knife to her chest as she sat in a chair propped up against a wall. She wasn’t going to get snuck up on again. Not tonight.
She tried to get a little more comfortable in the oversized chair but she was too rigid. Tonight made no sense. Who the hell had tried to kidnap her? She didn’t have any enemies. No past grudges she needed to clear up. So who?
Then what the hell was up with that wolf. After thinking about it, it seemed he was protecting her. What were the odds of a wild animal coming up at the same exact moment she needed help. And why hadn’t he attacked her once those men left. It just didn’t make any sense.
She didn’t even know who she could call and tell. Who would believe a wild wolf came to her aide. She was surprised no one had come out the bar with all the noise they had made while fighting.
She had so many questions and no answers. She knew one thing, she wasn’t getting any sleep tonight, and first thing tomorrow she was going to buy something to protect herself with. Maybe mace. With a gun, she might kill herself right along with her attacker.
Chapter 3
Vance made it a point to spend as much time with
Elissa as he could over the next couple of weeks. He didn’t want to take the chance of something happening to her when he wasn’t there.
He trusted Caleb and Matt, yet they failed him. It would be better for him to be with her. She didn't mind. He took her out to plays, movies, and even invited her backstage to a few of his shows.
When she was at work, he would either sit outside and watch the surrounding area, or go inside and sit at a back table with a
blaeja
surrounding him. But he saw nothing and that worried him even more.
He made sure she was safe. He tried to ignore the feelings she incited from him. Saying to himself that he wasn’t ready. But the more time he was around her, the stronger the pull became. He knew from the start but thought he could resist the mating call. Yet like many before him, he became just as susceptible to it.
Elissa was his mate, and he had to protect her. No matter the cost. He didn’t know how he was going to share all this news with her, or how she would take it, but he needed her to be around when he finally found a way. Wilkos would die by his hand if anything happened to his mate.
Vance seen Elissa home after her shift, watching her lock up tight and leave every light on in her home. Ten minutes after she was inside, his phone went off.
Hey it's me. Missed you today. Call me when you have time.
Elissa
She always texted him when she got home. It was like a routine with her, he supposed.
He made sure that his Betas were in place before he left. He needed to get some rest. The non-stop surveillance was playing hell on his body but he knew it was worth it and would pay off in the end.

Three days later, Matt and Caleb were sitting out front of Elissa’s home. Vance had gone to do a show in another town and Elissa couldn't take the night off to be with him.
The night was uneventful. The two were paying close attention to the surroundings. Getting out of the car and sniffing the area to make sure they were alone.
Matt was aware of the Alpha's orders, but sitting here in this SUV night after night was wearing his patience thin.
Since the night of her attack, all had been quiet. No sign of Wilkos or his men. They had even sent men to watch his compound. Nothing looked out of sorts.
Matt looked over at the house. He could just make out Elissa head over the curtains. She was working. The music was blasting. Here and there, a few drunken patrons sang (quite badly) along with it.
Adjusting his position in his seat, Matt glanced at Caleb, who was drumming his fingers on his thigh to the muffled music. Caleb looked bored to death. Truth be told, so was Matt.
“I’m starving.” Caleb said all of a sudden. “I need to eat. Seriously. I’m gonna fucking die.”
“You could lose a few pounds.” Matt shrugged. "Might do you some good."
“Fuck you, dude. We’ve been here all day. And don't even think about lying to me about how you're not hungry. I can fucking
hear
your stomach.”
It was true. Matt wanted food too. Werewolves needed more food than people and he was getting grumpy and irritated. But they couldn’t leave, not yet. Not until their Alpha came and relieved them.
“The Alpha should be back in a couple of hours. You can wait till then.” Matt gritted his teeth.
Caleb mumbled under his breath. Something about getting the woman out of the bar.
“You know we can't get her out of the bar, dude. So just shut up already.”
Caleb growled in frustration. “If I don’t eat, I’m going to kill you and grill you with my lighter.”
Matt chuckled. He doubted it would go that far but at the same time, Caleb had a point. The smell from the bar's kitchen also didn't help.
They could just go in and order something to eat. She'd be closer to them and easier to track.
“Alright, how about this. We go and order something to eat from the bar, just to shut you up.”
“Thanks bro, most sensible thing you've said all day.”
Matt jumped out of the car and went to the side of the bar. Elissa was in the kitchen, he smelled, getting something for a patron. Chicken fingers from the smell of it. He walked around back, scanning the area as he went. Looking into the shadows, sniffing the air. When he made it back to the front of the house he saw Caleb walking up and down the streets looking in the cars before giving Matt a thumb's up.
With everything clear, he headed to the bar and opened the door. He paused to sniff for Elissa's scent one more time. She was still in the kitchen, her scent shadowed slightly by the bubbling oils and sizzling burgers.
But he also picked up the trace of another scent. But it disappeared when he sniffed again.
"Well I'll be goddamned." He muttered, hoping that he was just imagining things.
***
Patrick smiled to himself as he watched the two Betas walk towards the bar entrance. He had parked far away down the street. Far enough away so his scent could not be picked up and hadn’t made a move. Weiss had been very careful with the woman thus far. He knew all he had to do was bide his time. He drove his car up to the bar. This was easier than he had thought it would be.
It was just a matter of time now until he has her. When that time came, the sky was the limit.
***
Vance was anxious. His band had a good show. The arena was sold out. But he couldn’t quite enjoy tonight. He was eager to get back to Elissa. His Elissa. Just thinking about her made him smile.
He had decided to tell her about himself. He wouldn’t out his pack just yet. He wanted to know if she would accept him.
They had wrapped the show about an hour ago in North Philly and he was breaking all kinds of traffic laws to get back. He wanted to be back by Elissa’s side. He had plans to be buried deep inside of her in just a few hours.
He pulled his phone from his pocket. He dialed Caleb’s phone.
“Alpha.”
“How’s everything.”
“Pretty quiet for now. She's still working. Loud night, plenty of people. Should be safe from Wilkos and his pups.”
“Good, I should be there in about twenty minutes. I know you and Matt are going stir crazy.”
“Just about, yeah. We're grabbed something to eat at the bar. She served us. Left her a good tip.” Caleb said.
Vance smiled. Typical Caleb. “Hang tight, boys. I'll be there soon.”
Hanging up, Vance turned the radio up and drove the few miles left on his trip.
He pulled into the parking lot as the two Betas walked out of the bar with burger and fries still on their breaths.
Matt bowed his head in submission when he saw Vance. “How was the show?”
“Great. Sold out. Again. The band is already headed back.”
“I’m going to go in. Check the perimeter once more before you head out.”
“No problem. Congrats on the show tonight, boss.” Caleb said.
Vance nodded and headed for the door. He opened the door, expecting to see the look of surprise and joy on Elissa's face. But as he scanned the bar, she wasn't there. He took a deep breath. Her scent was there but where the hell was she? His Betas would never lie to him and they got their food from her, didn't they?
He walked out, pulled out his phone and called her. She didn’t answer. Panic started pumping through him. Her scent was intoxicatingly close he still couldn't see her. There were no
blaeja
around.
Something was wrong.
His Betas felt the panic through their bond and joined him a second later.
“What is it Alpha? What’s wrong?” Matt’s voice hung thick and heavy in the night.
“Check around back, Caleb.” Vance ordered.
Caleb ran around the bar and came back. Nothing
“Did you guys see her leave?”
“No sir, she’s been here all night. Hasn’t left once. She served us our food, I told you.”
Vance followed his nose and found his way to the backdoor. He tried to open it but it was locked. She might just be getting an order for someone else, but something just didn’t feel right in his heart.
Caleb ran from the back. “Found something! You need to take a look at this.” He took off running as soon as the words left his mouth.
Vance darted behind him and found Elissa's car. Its door was open and her purse was on the ground, its content spilled out.
He turned around, anger clouding his mind. Matt and Caleb looked back nervously.
It was hard to keep his voice even. “Where is she?"
Caleb looked at Matt. He took a deep breath. He bowed his head and turned to his Alpha.
“I swear she was here twenty minutes ago. Honest to God.”
"There's something you're not telling me." The anger rolling off Vance made Caleb lose his voice.
Finally, Matt spoke up. "When we got out of the car to go inside, I smelled something... It was only a trace and I thought I'd just imagined it..."
Matt's voice trailed off but Vance knew exactly what his Beta smelled.
“If even a hair is missing on my mates head, you will pay with your lives.” Vance walked from the room, his phone in his hand. He didn’t care about the surprised expressions on their faces. His only concern was getting his mate back.
He dialed his head of security. He answered on the first ring.
“Alpha.”
“He has her. Ready a team. We're going to rescue my mate.
