The intense feeling had her mind going blank. All she could think of was him and her. This moment in time. Ravenous lust coursed over her for more of him. She wanted him inside her, to feel his magnificent erection fill her completely, and to have him come with her.

As if he knew her desire, he moved, his large muscular frame sliding over top of her. His long, thick erection rubbed against her inner thigh. She quaked in excitement to feel it in her. Caleb gripped his shaft and nudged the head just into her. The large bulbous tip was thick, and it felt so damn good. She wanted more of it, and Kitty wiggled her hips, causing him to tease her entrance.

A deep throaty growl came from Caleb, but she barely registered the sound as he glided into her molten core. He was big. Ever fiber of her felt as if she’d been skewered in the most pleasant way.

He’d never ached so badly for anyone before. He shivered with the touch, taste and smell of Kitty’s body. Caleb kept his movements slow and careful, tenderly kissing her soft full lips as he tried to push his cock into her. She was such a tiny little thing. If he wasn’t careful he could hurt her. The heady smell of her musk caused him to tremble a bit, and the more he struggled to not just plunge balls deep into her, the harder it became.

Caleb’s breathing was labored. He fought the urge but lost. He slammed his hips into her. The feeling of her wet pussy gripping him had him close already. The sensation of finally being joined with her like this was incredible, and he shuddered. Her pussy was so silky smooth along his rigid length, and she was so wet, his balls ached to come deep inside her.

Kitty ground her hips into his, and his shaft rubbed harder against her slick pussy walls. He could tell she was close too. He wanted to feel her coming on his cock, to know the pleasure of making her climax over and over. As he pumped almost mindlessly into her, he heard her moans deepen. The rich creamy musk of her body filled the air, and her pussy clamped down around his shaft.

“Oh, baby, yes. Come for me.” He groaned.

“Yes, oh god, yes,” she cried as the heated flood of her orgasm bathed his cock. The spasms rolled along his shaft, and he fought not to join her. The need to spill deep inside her was strong, but he wanted to make her climax again at least one more time.

His lips crushed into hers and Kitty let out a muffled gasp as his size stretched her farther still. It felt so damn good to have him buried deeply inside her.

“Oh, baby, you’re so tight.” Caleb moaned. His words made her quiver. She felt every inch of him as he moved back and forth. The pleasure was insane as he rubbed over the sweetest spot inside her. Her climax washed over her, the pulsating wave sweeping her away into a void of euphoric delight.

Clasping desperately to one another, warmth spread up from her womb and filled her entire body again. As if he sensed her increased excitement, Caleb pinned her hands down beside her and intertwined his fingers with her own. Their bodies moved together, and his breathing got very heavy as his grip on her hands tightened. He thrust harder and faster, his body slapping against hers.

“Oh god,” he cried as he twitched deep inside her. Kitty’s body reacted to his, and she trembled again. Her breathing quickened and she curved her back as she shuddered more with every movement Caleb made.

“I’m going to come.” He moaned deeply just before his lips crushed against hers. She closed her eyes as her orgasm swept over her and she became lost in the feeling of her lover joining her climax. The hot stream filled her, and her insides twitched and quaked as she cried into his mouth at the glory of her orgasm.

Lying there in each other’s arms, he gently kissed her neck before moving slowly out of her. She was so peaceful and tired in such a good way. She didn’t want to move.

“Kitty…oh please forgive me for this…I’m sorry.” He growled.

As he lifted himself, his hands roughly pinned hers. Kitty’s eyes flashed open, and she saw his glowing yellowish ones. The feral look in them terrified her as much as his facial features, which became beast-like.

She screamed as his body warped, his bones groaned, crunched and cracked. As she struggled desperately, her mind quickly went into shock at the sight before her. Claws erupted from his fingers as his mouth pulled outward from his face, forming a muzzle filled with sharp pointy teeth. As his muscles grew in size so did his height, and the bed creaked loudly in protest of the new weight. His body became covered with thick black fur, and he howled.

Kitty screamed loudly and tried to get free of his grip. With a low growl, he lowered his head and sniffed her face and neck before he licked her salty-flavored cheek. She smelled of their sex and her heat. Tonight was a full moon. It was the perfect time for turning her. He breathed in deeply. Her scent filled his beast’s nature with an aching for a mate of its own. One just like it, to run wild and free and be one with it. Lost to his alter self, Caleb howled, and then without a second thought, he lowered his head and bit her tender creamy flesh. Her screams of terror turned into ones of pain.

As she struggled under him, another howl resounded in the boat as Kaiden answered Caleb’s. Kitty was now their mate, and his brother would protect her with his life as well. He hoped she’d come to accept him. She’d one day be alpha female of his uncle’s pack when he replaced Tim as the alpha male. Then she’d need to bear their pups. The more the better, he thought as she fell still under him. He eyed her as she went limp in his grasp.

His return to human form was always less painful, and as he sat there looking at his naked mate, he heard the door open. Kaiden’s scent filled the room as he stepped in and stared at her. Caleb glanced up at his brother, whose eyes looked hungry.

Kaiden moved her hair to one side and examined the fresh bite mark on her shoulder.

“How long do you think it will take?” Caleb asked as he traced his fingers along her cheek.

“I’m not sure, but we’d better tie her down. If she comes to she may jump overboard,” he said, and the two of them carefully and gently tied Kitty to the bed.

After they bathed Kitty and covered her with a sheet, they both sat on either side of her and waited. The fever would start, then the shakes and hallucinations, then the convulsions would take over, and if her body accepted the change, she’d live. If not…the thought of losing her was not one Caleb could ever bare. As Kaiden curled up beside her, he knew they both would suffer if their mate perished. Tomorrow night they would all change and would be able to run together as a mated set, as long as she survived and didn’t try to kill him for having changed her.

Kitty lay on the bed, thrashing against her bindings. Her hair was matted to her naked, sweaty flesh as her body burned up with fever from his brother’s bite. Caleb wiped down her forehead as Kaiden brought more towels and an ice bag. The fever had struck in the middle of the night as both he and Caleb lay curled beside her.

With an ungodly scream, she arched herself and went into convulsions from her temperature spiking again. Now as they fought to keep it down, he could tell they might lose her. Blood trickled from the corner of her mouth and nose. She coughed violently as her seizure finally stopped.

“Please, it hurts,” she mumbled as he washed the blood from her face.

“It’ll be okay, Kitty. You need to fight it. We need you to fight it and stay with us,” he whispered. The thought that someone he’d just met could already mean so very much to him had his heart aching with the fear of losing her. Kaiden wasn’t used to this kind of fear, and it unnerved him.

From what Caleb had told him, Kitty had nearly drowned, had almost frozen to death, and somehow she’d survived. Now he just needed her to be able to beat this one last thing. If she made it past the next few hours, she’d be okay, he told himself. She shivered and her teeth chattered. Blackened veins feathered out from the wound Caleb had left in her shoulder. He didn’t know if it was a bad sign or not. He suddenly he wished his mother was there.

The sound of the bedroom door opening made him look up. His father stared at them. The softness in his eyes wasn’t something Kaiden was used to seeing.

“How is she doing?” he asked quietly.

“Not good,” Caleb answered, his voice echoing both their worry for their mate.

“I see. We’re just offshore from my villa and there’s a doctor there. Do you think he could help?”

“No, he wouldn’t be able to. The infection needs to run its course. Medicine won’t stop it from either changing or killing her,” Kaiden said solemnly.

Kaiden wrung out another towel and laid it over her forehead as Caleb tried to wash her body again. Kitty looked up at them. Her eyes were so bloodshot they nearly glowed.

“What’s wrong with me?” she asked. Her voice was so weak it scared him even more.

“You just have a fever. Don’t worry. You’re going to be all right.” Caleb’s voice cracked a little as he said it, and Kaiden look at his brother. The fear in his eyes was as plain as day.

“It’s so cold in here,” she said. Her eyes fluttered, and Kaiden heard her heart struggling to keep going. “I’m tired,” she murmured as they closed.

“No, Kitty. Come on, you need to fight this,” Kaiden said as she lay there limp and barely breathing. Her heartbeat was barely audible to his increased sense of hearing. “Oh god, Caleb! Help me get her into the shower,” he cried as he desperately undid her bindings. She was fading fast. “Dad, run the cold water,” he ordered as he undid her feet.

“You’ll put her into shock,” his father exclaimed.

“Exactly,” he said. As he lifted Kitty into his arms her heart gave out and she stopped breathing.

Chapter Ten

The brightness of the all white walls hurt as did the steady
thwap, thwap, thwap
sound from overhead. Every inch of her body felt bruised and beaten. She tried to sit up and two sets of large hands gently pushed her back down. A strange deep musky, masculine smell invaded her senses, and the hairs on the back of her neck prickled as the loud thudding sounds of three hearts beating filled her ears.

A deep rumbled growl reverberated out of her chest, and it was answered by the two men sitting on either side of her. Kitty blinked for a moment. Had she just growled?

“Kitty? How do you feel?” Caleb’s voice echoed inside her head. His words seemed to be extremely loud.

“I think she’s in a bit of shock.” Kaiden’s booming one assaulted her ears from the other side of her.

Kitty scurried into a sitting position and moving quickly to press her back against the bamboo headboard, her gaze darted all over. She wore a white silk bathrobe, and by the feel of it, nothing else. The room was massive as was the bed, which was enveloped in gossamer netting. A large-bladed ceiling fan moved overhead a few feet from the bed, causing the sheer fabric to gently move in its breeze.

Ornate Victorian furnishings adorned the room, and a set of double French doors opened out onto a terrace, which seemed to overlook a bay. A very humid warm breeze drifted into the room. The water was as blue as the cloudless sky, and she smelled so many strange and delightful things her mouth watered. Her nostrils flared as instinctively she wanted to smell everything. She again was overwhelmed by the smells of the two men sitting beside her. A heated rush ran down her spine, and both of them seemed to notice as they too scented the air. They looked at her with more than just concern in their eyes.

Kitty suddenly leaped from the bed as an instinctive need to flee overtook her. She tried to race for the large oak door she assumed was the way out. Never before had she moved so fast or agile, and as her fingers were about to close on the door handle, an arm wrapped around her waist and held her close. It was Caleb, she could tell by the smell and she wasn’t sure how. As he wheeled her around she managed to get loose and turned to flee back toward the terrace doors.

Suddenly she hit the floor as a large hard body grappled her, and although Kaiden twisted to take most of the blow, she felt jarred. The nearness of him also made her groan as his scent was very strong with something she couldn’t quite fathom, but it made her insides quiver.

“You smell so good.” Kaiden growled in her ear as he pinned her to the floor.

“Get off her,” Caleb roared, and suddenly the two men grappled one another.

She scurried to her feet and stood staring at them as their forms twisted and cracked, each one morphing into large wolf-man things. Both were still identical save for Kaiden’s scar. Memories flashed in her thoughts. She’d slept with Caleb…willingly. Kitty’s mind was a bit foggy as to what exactly had happened after they’d had sex. He’d turned into that thing and…her hand went to her shoulder…had he bitten her?

Stepping back as the two beasts fought inside the room, part of her was terrified and wanted to flee, but oddly enough, some strange part of her was excited by this. A need to watch and see who won kept her rooted to the spot as fur, spit and blood flew everywhere, casting a myriad of sprays across the crisp white room. As an ear-splitting howl resound out of one of the brothers the other tackled him.

Then suddenly it was over as one had the other by the throat on the ground. Kitty’s heart raced, each beat felt as if it would cause her chest to explode. Somehow she knew the fate of the winner would mean something important…important to her. Now she waited with bated breath to see who the victor was. She couldn’t tell them apart because of the blood, which drenched them.

Caleb had nearly lost his right to be her primary mate. They were both exhausted from sitting vigilantly over her for the past twenty-four hours, and it’d made the battle a close one. Now as he turned his sights toward Kitty, she looked at him half-perplexed. Her face was even paler than normal, and as he cocked his head at her and growled, she growled back. The look on her face was of confusion. He’d need to tell her what was going on.
