God, they were persistent.

“Yes! All right?”

Cupping her cheek with his hand, Connor kissed her. He
slipped his tongue between her lips and every thought of escaping fled. She
wanted more.

His mouth left hers and she whimpered. “No, you are
definitely not unaffected, are you, trouble? You want both of us.”

“I want a taste,” Cade demanded, turning her head to face
him.

She cried out, the sound muffled by his mouth as he covered
her lips with his.

Where Connor sipped and seduced, Cade went straight in for
the kill, taking her mouth in a scorching hot kiss. He pushed the wide collar
of her T-shirt down until her breast popped free.

She murmured in protest, not wanting him to see how
inadequate she was. She had little in the way of curves.

“Shh,” he told her, lifting his mouth from hers. “Let us
taste.”

Connor let go of her hand and knelt on the bed. Grabbing the
top of the T-shirt, he ripped it down the middle.

Shelby raised her free hand to cover herself.

Cade growled and reaching beneath her, pinched her butt.

“Ow,” she complained, glaring up at him. “What was that
for?”

“Don’t ever cover yourself in front of us.” He pulled her
hands away, leaving her breasts completely exposed.

“Don’t,” she groaned, embarrassed.

Cade raised his eyebrows. “If you tell me you don’t want us
touching you then we’ll know you’re lying. And I don’t appreciate being lied
to. You can’t lie with your body, sweetheart.” He dipped one hand between her
legs, swirling his finger through her juices. He held it up so they could all
see how much moisture covered the digit.

“But I’m… Oh God.”

Not to be left out, Connor now had his hand between her
legs, only he was using his thumb to tap her clit as he pushed one thick finger
against her entrance.

He raised his gaze, first meeting hers then his brother’s
gaze.

“She’s a virgin,” he said with satisfaction.

Cade grinned.

She groaned. “Oh my God, this is mortifying.”

They stared down at her in confusion.

“In case you haven’t noticed, I’m not exactly built like a
sex goddess and now you’ve figured out that I’m so inadequate that I haven’t
ever had sex.”

“Inadequate?” Connor growled in a low voice. “You’re the
sexiest woman I’ve ever seen. I don’t ever want to hear you talk about yourself
like that.”

“I don’t understand,” Cade said in confusion. “How can she
think herself inadequate because she waited for us?”

“I didn’t wait for you!” she cried.

Connor dipped his mouth to her nipple and sucked on it
strongly.

Shelby arched her back as heat flooded her. She rubbed her
thighs together as her clit throbbed. Then Cade leaned down and took her other
nipple in his mouth, giving it the same treatment.

“Oh, oh, oh,” she cried out, thrashing her head back and
forth.

Connor sat up first, followed by Cade. “That’s better. At
least we know how to get her cooperation.” He looked over at Cade. “She thinks
her body isn’t attractive.”

Cade’s eyes widened. “Not attractive? Can’t she feel our
erections? If I wasn’t attracted to her, I wouldn’t be lying here, ready to
come in my pants. Does she need proof of how much we want her?”

Shelby blushed at his words. She could feel their erections
and they were impressive.

“I don’t think she’s quite ready for that yet,” Connor said.
“But we’ll need to work on her self-esteem. Find out exactly why she thinks
she’s unattractive.”

“Hey, you’re not doing anything. Stop talking about me like
I’m not here.”

“She’s talking again,” Cade said. “We should do something
about that.”

“Good idea, brother.”

Both of them dropped their heads to her breasts again, sucking
on her nipples strongly. They lapped at her nipples with their tongues as they
each pushed a hand between her thighs, drawing her legs up to rest on each of
their hips.

One of them tapped at her clit while the other rimmed her
entrance. Her orgasm grew and she knew she wouldn’t be able to hold back. No
pleasure she’d been able to give herself had even come close to this
overwhelming need.

She screamed as she gave in and came, her whole body
shuddering as she gasped for breath. They didn’t relent, continuing to play
with her gently, drawing out her release.

When they finally raised their heads, she had melted against
the bed like a pile of goo.

“How you could ever think this body inadequate, I’ll never
understand,” Cade said as he ran his hand up and down her body.

“We’re going to have to do a lot of reprogramming. She has a
bad self-image and she seems to have a suicide wish, challenging us at every
step.”

Cade nodded. “She’ll have to learn to listen better and how
to obey.”

Their words slowly penetrated, fueling her temper. What the
hell was she doing, lying between them like this? What had she just allowed to
happen?

Shelby shot up. “You have got to be fucking kidding me!” she
yelled as she scooted away from them. Her back hit the headboard and she drew her
legs up against her chest, drawing the tattered ends of the T-shirt around her.
“You’re high if you think this is ever happening again. Both of you need to
leave. Now.”

Connor raised his brows. “Shelby, in case it’s escaped your
notice, you’re our prisoner. You do what we say, not the other way around.”

“So you’re just going to rape me whenever you feel like it?”

Cade’s gaze narrowed. “We didn’t rape you, we pleasured you
and you enjoyed every minute. If anyone should feel used, it’s us.”

He adjusted himself, grimacing.

“Get used to it,” she told him. “Because there is no way I’m
allowing you to touch me again.”

“Oh, you’ll do more than that,” Connor said standing. He
leaned over her. “You’ll scream our names in pleasure, you’ll take us into your
body, and you’ll enjoy every second.”

“So you do intend to force yourself on me?”

“We won’t have to. We’re not going to fuck you, Shelby.”

She glanced up at Connor as he straightened. “Really?”

“No, not until you say, ‘pretty please, Cade and Connor,
will you fuck me’.”

“Hell will freeze over before I ever say that,” she spat
out.

“We’ll see,” Connor said with amusement. Cade stood and
grabbed her, hauling her over his shoulder.

“Wait,” she cried out, hating the panic in her voice. “Where
are we going?”

“You’re going back to your room for a long think about what
your options are,” Cade told her as he left the room.

“I’m not dressed!”

“I’ll get another T-shirt and meet you down there,” Connor
said.

“Grab a portable heater too,” Cade replied. “The room is too
cold for her.”

“This is crazy. If you let me go, I promise not to tell
anyone. I promise to stay away from the senator, whatever you want.”

“I want you to stop lying.” Cade quickly ran down two
flights of stairs to the basement. He moved into the room she’d been locked in
and threw her on the bed. She winced as her sore ass met the mattress.

Cade gazed down at her. “I have a lot of patience, Shelby.
But I’m not going to wait forever. Tell the truth and we’ll let you go.”

“Will you?” she said skeptically.

Connor entered and placed a small heater on the floor. He
plugged it in before placing a T-shirt on the bed.

They both turned away.

“You’re just going to leave me here?” She felt almost
abandoned.

“I think a time-out is just what you need,” Connor said with
a smirk.

Patronizing bastard. She wasn’t a child. But as they left,
shutting the door behind them, she sure felt like throwing a tantrum worthy of
a toddler.

Connor shut the door, locking it as Cade took a seat in the
other room. Cade divided his attention between the laptop and his brother, who
was pacing back and forth.

“What the hell is happening? First she knocks me out, then
she breaks my nose and she smashes your balls and yet I can barely pull myself
away from her. My wolf is tearing at me, wanting her, it’s all I can do to
control him.”

He looked over at Cade in frustration. Cade nodded. “I know.
I feel it too.”

Cade leaned back and folded his arms behind his head. His
wolf was very much a part of him. Cade was much more in tune with his wolf than
most werewolves. He and his wolf tended to agree over most things. And they
were in complete agreement in their feelings toward Shelby.

“She’s ours,” Cade told him.

“What?” Connor replied, running his hand through his hair.

Seriously? He didn’t know what was going on? Cade sighed.
Connor often let his emotions get in the way of the facts.

Cade didn’t have that problem.

“She’s our mate.”

Connor stilled and looked at him. “Don’t joke around, Cade.”

Cade frowned. “How often do I joke around?” Pretty much
never.

Connor paled and sat at the table. Cade glanced back at the
video feed. Their mate was sitting on the bed, glaring up at the camera. His
lips twitched. Even though she shouldn’t be fighting them, he did admire her
bravery.

Still, she would learn to obey them without argument. He
wouldn’t put her safety at risk by allowing disobedience.

“You’re really not kidding, are you? You think she’s our
mate?”

“I don’t think. I know. She’s our true mate. If we’d fucked
her, you’d have no doubt. Are you sure we should leave her in there? She seems
mad. I can’t see her welcoming our touch again.”

“Of course she’s mad. She’s our prisoner. It’s possible
she’s trying to harm the man we’re charged with protecting. She can’t be our
mate. You’re mistaken.”

“I’m not.” Cade didn’t say anything more. He didn’t have to.
Connor knew it was the truth, he was just fighting it.

“Shit.
Shit.
What are we going to do?” Connor said
with frustration.

“Claim her.”

“We can’t claim her, Cade. What if she won’t answer our
questions? How are we supposed to keep our mate locked up?”

“We won’t have to. Soon as we mate with her, she’ll answer
our questions. Any behavior we don’t approve of will immediately stop once she
is ours.”

Connor shook his head. “You seriously think she’s just going
to jump at our every word, don’t you?”

“We’re her mates. It’s our job to keep her safe. She will
acknowledge our authority.”

No way would he allow his mate to be in any danger.

“Look at her. Does she really look the type to jump when you
say jump?” Connor gestured at the laptop.

No, right now their mate was prowling the room, growling
softly as she shot venomous glares at the camera. But that would all change
once she had mates, wouldn’t it?

Suddenly, Cade didn’t feel as certain.

“I still think we should hand this over to someone else,”
Connor said.

Cade snarled. That was his mate on the other side of that
door. He’d touched her, tasted her, he still had the scent of her pleasure on
his fingertips. No one else would go near her.

“No. She’s ours. I will not trust anyone else with her.”

Connor leaned his arms on the table. “Look, I don’t like
this any better than you do. But right now I’m not thinking about Sam’s safety,
I’m not thinking about the answers I want from her. All I’m thinking about is
getting back into that room and sinking my dick into her sweet pussy. Tell me
you feel any different.”

Cade felt the same way. The urge to take her, to claim her
beat at him.

Connor was right.

“I think we need some space,” Connor said. “No one else will
go in there or interact with her. But we need to calm down and think this
through.”

Cade sighed. “All right. But I’m not staying away from her
for long, and I’ll be keeping watch over her.” He tapped the laptop. “Why don’t
you change and go for a run of the perimeter? It will fix your nose.”

“Why has Dylan left the laptop here? Shouldn’t he be keeping
an eye on her?” Connor asked.

“He’s using his other computer. He must have left this here.
I’ll take it back with me. Go. You need it. I’ll get her some more food and
watch over her.”

* * * * *

Connor raced through the forest in wolf form, breathing
deeply. When some of his restless energy had been expended, he slowed, taking
more notice of his surroundings.

He pushed everything out of his mind as he concentrated on
patrolling the grounds. While they weren’t expecting anything to happen with
Sam away they couldn’t let down their guard. The one human guard who had been
left behind was the laziest of the group.

Connor changed back, dressing in the clothes he’d left in a
messy pile. He moved to a spot where he could see the house.

Was Cade right? Was she their mate?

He took a deep breath, letting the peace of the forest
settle him. Whether Cade was right or not, this attraction he felt was stronger
than anything he’d felt before. He needed to explore it.

First, though, they needed answers.

His mind calmer, he stood and headed back to the house.
Tonight, he’d tackle the problem of Shelby.

Right now, he needed a distraction. Pulling out his phone,
he called Cade.

“Feeling better?” Cade greeted him.

“Yeah, thought I’d go check that cabin Sam was talking
about. You all right with Shelby?”

“Sure, just took her some breakfast. She’s eating it now.
Actually, inhaling it would be more accurate.”

Connor felt a pang of guilt as he remembered that they
hadn’t fed her last night. “Make sure she eats it all.”

“Don’t think we need to worry about that. I’m going to take
over for Dylan for a while. The useless human is sitting on his ass.”

“I shouldn’t be long. Cade?”

“Yeah?”

“What if we get her to talk and we don’t like what she tells
us? What if it turns out she is a traitor? If she’s our mate…”
