“The Happy Buck?” She’d lived in Spirit for close to three years but had never eaten here.

Cavon wrapped an arm around her waist. “We can go someplace else.”

She remembered them saying that they were used to picking their own vegetables. If they were willing to chow down a hamburger and fries, the least she could do was eat some veggies. “No. That’s perfect.”

It didn’t matter to her if they were going to eat mud pies for dinner. As long as she got to be with her men, she’d be happy. The inside was buzzing with activity, and while the place was quite modern, it had a romantic feel. All of the servers, most of whom were young men, were dressed in black.

When the hostess asked whether they preferred a booth or a table, Malik looked around. “We’d like the most secluded spot you have. He stepped back, pulled Amy close, and winked.

Could he get any more romantic? Just being next to him sent her hormones into high gear.

“Certainly. Come this way.”

She loved how considerate these men were. When they were seated, she ordered wine and they ordered two beers. As soon as the server left, she leaned forward and kept her voice low. What she wouldn’t give to learn how to send messages telepathically. “Do you have wine in Anterra?”

Both laughed. “Yes, kitten, we do,” Cavon said. “We just prefer the taste of your American beer.”

When the drinks arrived, Malik held up his bottle. “I think Cavon has an announcement.”

She couldn’t guess. “What is it?”

“I got a job.”

She squealed and immediately slid down in her seat from the noise. A few of the other customers looked her way. “Where? Give me details.”

“It’s not too special, but I’m working at Martins Sporting Goods store. Once I get more familiar with how things are run, I’m going to be a leader on a hunting expedition.” His chin notched up.

She didn’t like the sound of him going on a hunting expedition, but she was thrilled he planned on staying at least through October. “You’re hunting with guns?” Lara had mentioned they didn’t have weapons in Anterra.

Cavon patted her hand. “No. We don’t need guns.” He leaned closer. “We like to rip out the animal’s jugular. Shooting wolves would be too humane.”

She lowered her voice again. “Too bad you can’t hunt as lions.”

He laughed, and the rich sound shot through her body and landed straight at her pussy.

“Where would the sport be in that?” He rubbed her hand. “Besides, I think I’d freak out a few folks if I did that. They might shoot me!”

A shiver scattered over her skin at that thought. “I guess you have a point.” She picked up her menu, not wanting to think about either man getting injured. “Hmm.” Most of the items seemed foreign. “I have no idea what jicama is. Have either of you heard of Indian dal or tempeh?” She had no idea why they would know since they weren’t even from here, but perhaps they had similar plants in Anterra.

They both shook their heads. “No, but that was one of the reasons we came here. You’re adventurous, and since we like to take chances, too, perhaps we could figure it out together,” Cavon said.

Buying those sex toys had been the most adventurous thing she had done in her whole life. “That works for me.”

They pored over the menu. In the end, they had to ask the server for some help. Apparently, once he explained what all the items were, the men were able to relate it to something similar in their reality. She had such fun learning about their culture. In the end they got a little of everything and planned to share.

Of late, she’d not been able to get her mind off sharing. After being their slave in the bedroom, her thoughts had been on what happened the next time they had mind-blowing sex. She adored both of them and they seemed to like her, which was what she’d hoped for. To her delight, they didn’t have a problem that she had a little too much junk in her trunk. If only she could grow six inches, she’d have a perfect body, but such was the curse of being short.

Amy sipped on the merlot. “Tell me more about this job.”

Cavon really seemed to be happy he’d found something stable. “I know working as a cashier or even leading one group isn’t glamorous, but by only working three days a week, it will give me a chance to get my Wilderness First Responder certification.”

She was familiar with that, as one of the men who worked at the hotel was a guide. “That’s awesome.”

“The certification will teach me about your world of medicine. That appeals to me since I love helping to heal people. I guess I should have gone into medicine, but because Malik and I were such good fighters, we were pressed into duty protecting our kind.”

She loved that he had such passion. It didn’t matter to her that he was starting off slow. Any foreigner, whether from a different country or a different world, would have to ease into life here. Without a birth certificate or a driver’s license though, she bet he was going to come up against a lot of barriers. She appreciated his can-do attitude.

The food arrived, and they all burst out laughing once the server disappeared. “Do you guys recognize this stuff?” Okay, the noodles were familiar, but she stuff inside the zucchini wrap was a mystery to her.

Malik picked up a piece and popped it in his mouth. His eyes closed as if he’d just stepped one foot closer to heaven. She picked up a small ball like the one he’d tried and tasted it. “Mmm. This is good.”

Malik whispered in her ear. “Not as good as your pussy tastes.”

Oh, my God
. He so did not just say that. Heat raced up her face. At least his comment confirmed what they’d be doing after dinner.

Cavon insisted on paying for the meal. Cal Martin wouldn’t have paid him after Cavon only worked one day, but she figured his pride prevented him from using Lara’s card or hers. He was truly a one-of-a-kind man.

Malik stood and pulled out her chair. “Thank you, Master.” She winked.

He leaned over. “I think we can dispense with the formality tonight.”

Just thinking about what delicious events were about to unfold, her pussy nearly exploded. They stepped outside, and the balmy evening seeped into her soul. There was a hint of cedar in the air, but it was intermittently mixed with something else, probably the garbage behind the restaurant. As they passed the alley, a man in a white apron was shooing away about five cats from the dumpster.

Her heart went out to them. “Poor little kitties are hungry.”

Malik grinned. “Wait here.”

Cavon looked up, and from his expression he was sending out some kind of warning to his brother. Damned this telepathy stuff. “What did you say to him?”

“Be careful.”

“You know what he’s up to?” At least Cavon wasn’t trying to stop Malik, so it couldn’t be too bad.

“Yes.” He walked her passed the entrance to the alley. They stopped and peeked around the corner. “Just watch. This should be good.”

Every time the cook would sweep a kitten away from the spoiled food, another one would come in and jump on the garbage. The man picked up the downed bags and tossed them into the open smelly dumpster. That seemed to prompt the cats to climb on top.

“Shoo.” The worker waved his broom again, but the cats seemed unfazed.

Out of nowhere a huge lion jumped from behind the dumpster. The man let out a shriek, and Amy had to clamp a hand over her mouth to keep from laughing out loud. The man brandished the broom in Malik’s face. If this had been a real mountain lion, she bet that would have been the man’s last act.

Instead of scaring the poor guy, Malik roared at the kittens, faced the man, and whimpered. He tucked his tail between his legs and raced off. The poor cook dropped to the ground. At least the little kitties heeded Malik’s warning and charged off.

She had to step away from the alley before she gave away her presence. She plastered her back against the wall and wiped the tears from her eyes. “That was the funniest thing I’ve seen.”

As casual as could be, Malik rounded the corner in front of the restaurant and sauntered toward them. Once he reached her, he kissed her. “Like the show?”

“It was too much fun. No one got hurt, but you do need to be careful. You never know how some people will react. That cook could have a gun stashed on him.”

He winked. “I guess I’ll have to watch my step.”

Not wanting to alert the cook that anyone had caught him being confronted by a lion, they hurried down the street.

Three kids crossed the street and shouted. “Malik.”

She recognized one of them as the boy who Malik had given advice to.

“Hey, Jeremy. Practice any of the moves I told you about?”

The kid glanced at her and Cavon. A few seconds passed. “They know,” Malik said.

She kept forgetting about the shifters’ ability to communicate without speaking. Her fists unclenched.

“The three of us have been discussing tactics.” Jeremy turned to Cavon. “Your friend is an incredible fighter.”

Cavon smiled. “I know.”

“Malik showed the three of us some really good moves this afternoon.” The other two boys grinned and nodded their heads.

Now she was confused. “Malik, you saw these boys today?”

He told her how he was out for a run in the forest and sensed they were near.

One of the other boys stepped forward. “Malik dared us to try to even touch him, but we couldn’t. Not even when it was three against one.”

Malik shoved his hands in his pockets. “Aw. It was nothing. Remember, I spent my whole life learning how to fight. You guys are just beginners.”

His graciousness thrilled her, but as happy as she was to see Malik shine, she wanted to touch him herself. “It was nice running into you again, but I promised Cavon and Malik some dessert at my house and I don’t want it to melt.”
Please believe my lie.

“Oh, sure. See ya.” They all trotted off.

Both men smiled. Cavon’s lips brushed her ear. “If it does melt, can I lick it off your pussy?”

“We’ll just have to see.”

She couldn’t wait to get them home.

Chapter Seven

When they got inside her house, the place smelled fresh. This morning, she’d sprinkled cotton balls with peppermint oil, placed them on a saucer, and stashed them under the sofa. It gave the air a nice scent. Her men had a keen sense of smell, and she didn’t want them being put off by some stale odor.

Cavon wrapped his arms around her. “You know what?”

She looked up and grinned. “What?”

“We never stopped for dessert.”

She sucked in her bottom lip. “I might have something you could eat.”

He scooped her up in his arms. “Really? As long as you’re offering…”

She lightly punched his chest. “I haven’t even told you what it is.”

“Kitten, I only have one thing on my mind and there’s no preparation needed except for a little kissing and a lot of touching.”

She laughed until her eyes teared. These men never failed to please her. Once they reached her bedroom, Malik pulled down the spread and Cavon gently placed her on the cool sheets. She was still fully dressed. So as not to get the sheets dirty, she toed off her shoes.

Both men sat on the end of the bed and pulled a shoeless foot in to each of their strong hands. “Just relax,” Malik said in a tone that oozed seduction.

She could get used to this fast. Their thumbs were large enough that one swipe across her instep brought divine bliss. The exquisite pleasure raced up her legs and pooled between her thighs. How were they able to stimulate her this fast? She’d never been easy in the past. In fact, getting her moist had always been a feat for any man. With these two, she had cream dripping down her thigh simply by being in the same room with them.

“I think she is way overdressed for this dessert party.”

This wasn’t fair. She pushed up on her elbows. “How about I undress you two for a change?”

The glanced at each other and were probably doing that mental communication thing. Cavon nodded.
Yes!

She got off the bed, walked toward the door, and curled her finger for Cavon to come to her. He grinned and did as she asked. Being short sucked. After tugging on his shoulder, he leaned over.

“I want to suck Malik’s cock while I fuck you, but I need your help.”

His breath hitched and that thrilled her more than anything.

“What do you need me to do?”

“Don’t tell Malik, but as soon as I undress him, do you think you can handcuff his hands behind his back?”

Cavon stood and laughed.
Great
.

“Shh.”

“Okay, I’ll try, but he’ll let me only if he agrees. The man’s a beast.”

So she’d noticed. “Do your best.” As she walked back to the bed, Cavon lightly swatted her ass. The playfulness put an extra boost in her step.

She moved in front of Malik. “I do like this shirt, but it needs to go. I want to see that huge chest of yours.”

He glanced over his shoulder at his brother.
