Luken turned to the doorway he had just exited, at the elderly man stood there. "Thank you Dagon" he said weakly, knowing he had been the one to aid his recovery. The old man smiled, and waved a hand to tell him, go enjoy himself. Taylor wanted to be picked up, but Luken had not the strength to do so,
Caldar obliged instead. At first, the boy appeared uneasy, "hey young man, I guess that makes me, Uncle Caldar," he said softly. Taylor gave one of his big grins, and Caldar did likewise, "see I am not so bad. I am sure your father would carry you, but remember he is not well."

Luken and Caldar had so
much to discuss, and for now at least, they had managed to save some of Corlan. They both knew however, that the road ahead was a hard one. Easton would need to be rebuilt, and sooner or later, Caldar would have to accept the fact he was now king. At some point, plans would have to be drawn up to try and take their country back. Luken had informed him of his intentions to marry the Lady Sarena, and in all honesty, he thought them a wonderful match, with two beautiful children thrown in. He had even considered asking Vanessa, if maybe she would like to marry, he just was not sure how to go about asking.
