“No, but I did render his dick useless from now until eternity,” she said with a gleam in her eye.

“How is Amelia?”

“She’s Frey’s kid; she’s fine. I’m telling you, Gorgeous, this bunch we’re raising is going to be hell on wheels when they transition.”

“They’re already giving me ulcers.”

“This is true. Ow, speaking of ulcers…” Sophia grabbed her stomach.

“You did not just call my son a stomach affliction,” Nik chastised her.

“I’m the one carrying his big ass around. I have a right to call him what I want.”

“I’d call him lucky. Lucky to have the best mother in the entire world.” Nik pulled her as close as he could for a hug. “I’m proud of you, you know. For taking down the man in the bus terminal. I wish you would have called me and let me handle it, though.”

“You’d have killed him. Besides, I’m glad to know that I was able to defend my family and get the creep off the street.”

Nik kissed her. “Family is everything.”

Sophia nodded. “And we defend our family.”

About the Author

Faith Gibson is a multi-genre author who lives outside Nashville, Tennessee with the love of her life, and her four-legged best friends. She strongly believes that love is love, and there's not enough love in the world.
She began writing in high school and over the years, penned many stories and poems. When her dreams continued to get crazier than the one before, she decided to keep a dream journal. Many of these night-time escapades have led to a line, a chapter, and even a complete story. You won't find her books in only one genre, but they will all have one thing in common: a happy ending.
