A small paranoid voice pipes up in my head.
Maybe? Is that wishful thinking? He’s just a man…like your ex. And he’s a rockstar. Everyone wants him. Be careful.  

I get annoyed at myself, trying to push the unwelcome thoughts away. I wonder what it will take to get rid of them. Maybe some more time. I try to think positive and convince myself to wait and see.
Let’s see what happens at the concert and beyond before I jump to conclusions.

We smile, kiss and hold hands as we leave the room. The intense feelings I have for him
overwhelm me. For now, I manage to silence the doubts and nagging worries, while I try to just enjoy the moment. All I know is that I can’t wait for the concert and the next time I see him.
