Mallory's Super Sleepover (10 page)

A SCRAPBOOK

Here’s something I never thought I would say: I’m glad my birthday celebration is over.

Don’t get me wrong — there are parts of my sleepover that I never want to forget. But there are also some parts that I’m sure I’ll always remember, even though part of me would much rather forget them.

Mary Ann made me a scrapbook from the party, and here’s the good news: she only put in pictures that fall into the
things-I-want-to-remember
category.

I hope you enjoy looking at these pictures as much as I did!

Here’s my favorite picture. Mary Ann and me in our matching cupcake pajamas. We made a pinkie swear to wear them every year on both of our birthdays, no matter how big we get.

Here’s a picture of me with all my friends at my party.

Here’s a picture of me opening my presents.

Last but not least is my favorite picture . . . me blowing out my birthday candles or I guess I should say, my un-birthday candles. Mary Ann got this picture from Mom.

The good news is that I got what I wished for. As Grandma would say, it was birthday magic.

I’m making one last wish, and I really want it to come true, so hopefully it will.

I wish that when your birthday rolls around, a little magic falls your way and all of your wishes come true!

Big, huge hugs and kisses,

Mallory

(a.k.a. the birthday fairy)
