Daisy touched her again
, and Chris nodded, then stood up as she made her way to the doorway and out of the room. She turned back and smiled. The look on her face reminded her so much of the love she’d had for her own children, and she felt her heart swell with a newfound love for this woman.

“I just thought of something else. It’s no biggy if you don’t want to do it. But I was wondering if you’d be the angel that watches over this child like you do Ben?
Or even Nancy, but Ben loves you so much that it would mean a great deal to him and me if you could.” She left the room, and Daisy sat there for a long time just thinking about another baby to see. When she left the house for her world, she found Nancy and told her everything.

“Well
, of course, you’ll watch over her. Why would you think you wouldn’t? Those girls of mine are the best, and my sons? Well, there is none better than them either. They’re a force of nature when it comes to love and family.”

Daisy believed they were and felt proud of the fact that she was a part of their lives as well.
