Ignite Me (A Burning Desire Novel) (16 page)

“What is rule number twelve again?”

Following the path of my fingers from my neck down my
breasts, Landon inhaled deeply and rasped, “Your pleasure belongs to me, and
only me. No toys, no masturbation.”

I nodded my understanding, “Unless you’re participating.”
I finished reciting the rule he’d imposed when he found my little gadget.

I watched his throat as it clenched, he admitted with a
silent nod.

I extended my hand to him, “I’m going to pretend that my
hand carries your touch, and I’m going to stroke myself until I climax, repeatedly.”

Landon jolted into a seating position and shook his head,
“No, no way.”

Circling my nipples, I echoed, “No?” I pinched them
lightly elongating them, teasing him, “Are you declaring your defeat?”

He fell silent.

“This is how I show you that I love you. This is me,
coming for you.” My fingers skimmed down my navel, while I kept a hand on my left
breast. “I’ve never done this before, not even when you ask me to, but I’ll
look at you and imagine that my hand is yours. I’ll close my eyes, and feel you
as you sink inside me.” Gasping for air, my hand slid up to my throat
, it was harder than I thought it would be.
I needed him… badly.

But I had to do it, I had to prove to him that he was the
only who made my heart beat faster, that he was the only man who owned my
pleasure, not only because he wanted it that way, but because I

wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I’ll close my eyes.” I continued, hoping he wouldn’t
allow me to finish it and claim me, “And feel the velvet of your tongue
stroking my clit, once, twice, and until I can’t see straight anymore.”

In one swift motion, I pushed a finger inside me and
stilled it moaning loudly and calling out his name. It was the first time for
me. I was used to stroking myself, but I never ventured further than that.
Clenching around my finger, I was a damping mess. My heart pounded as my eyes
traveled over the beautiful specimen of manhood that stood hard with a hooded
gaze fixated on me, begging me to stop. I pushed another finger gripping my lip
between my teeth, trying to maintain the rhythm between my own thrusts and
pinching.

I grew comfortable with my body around Landon, and I’d
never been more exposed to him than at that exact moment. I moaned and groaned,
pushing against my wall, imagining his touch and stroking between my folds.

Feeling the pressure, I opened my eyes, Landon was on the
edge of the bed, his hands fisted so deep into the mattress, and I could have
sworn that it left a crook. I kept on stroking, growing relentless and closer.

“Oh Landon, I love you so much.” I moaned.

Jolting up violently, he shouted with an intensely hard
tone, “Enough.” his hands fisted to his side, his veins pounded through his
skin. His voice echoed inside the room and over the music so loudly that I
could feel the wall vibrating “I’ll buy you a fucking Ferrari. Fuck, I’ll buy
you ten Ferraris, just stop.”

I watched him as he paced towards me and sank to his
knees. Without another word, Landon buried his head at the apex of my thighs,
taking his due.

My pleasure belonged to him, and so did his.

“Shut up.” I mumbled a loud protest at my phone and
silenced it. Shuffling under the blanket, I reached for Landon until I had my
cheek settled on his arm and my back to his chest. I wriggled around, and
searched for a way to reach my favorite spot.

As if unconsciously aware of my attempt, Landon lifted his
chin allowing me to access his crook. I inhaled his scent and breathed out
slowly. I hooked my legs over, replaying the event of the night before. It
started from the way he acted around my family. He chatted with everyone, was
interested in every subject. He talked European league soccer and finance with
Brandon, seducing my over protective brother after a private talk on which I’d
chosen not to pry. He gave his opinion about education music, politics, and culinary
arts.

Remembering the way he treated Aurelia and Emilia, the way
he spoiled them, and how I’d found the three of them when I walked inside the
house I felt my heart racing. Landon was one of the most incomprehensible and
complex man I’d ever met. He was tender and attentive, successful and
domineering. He could also be possessive and thick skulled to the point of
giving me some obnoxious migraines, and then he’d be so calm and reasonable. I
could never understand him.

The way I provoked him last night, I relished that I could
have such an influence on him. He couldn’t allow me to pleasure myself without
him. The look on his face, his posture, I’ll cherish a sight to infinity and
beyond.

“What are you so smiley about baby?” He said gruffly.

“You.” I admitted without an ounce of hesitation and
pressed further into his arms.

Pulling his leg to hook it over mine, he pressed a kiss to
my forehead and inhaled deeply, “Please, do tell.”

Keeping my legs under his grab, I turned on my back and
reached for his hand. “Feel this,” I placed his palm over my heart, “Only for
you baby.” I said looking into his eyes, “You make my heart race wildly, and it
grows faster and deeper with each day.”

Silently, he leaned over and stilled his mouth against my
skin and over my heart.

“Only for me.” He murmured

“Only for you.”

My phone started buzzing again and I decided to check on
the caller.

I had five missed calls from Ryan, two from Jude and one
private number. I sat on the bed and brushed the thought of another call from
Audrey then called Ryan.

He answered after the first ring,

“Jesus Christ Clea, I’ve been calling you for hours.” His
voice worried me and I ran to the bathroom, not wanting to disturb Landon.

“What’s wrong Ryan?” I rushed on as soon as I was inside
the privacy of the enclosed space.

He breathed in, “Jenna and I were having breakfast earlier
and you’ll never guess who came looking for you.”

I propped my head against the door, “Audrey.” I breathed
out in a low voice.

“How did you know? Have you spoken to Jude?”

“No, she called me yesterday.” I confessed. I’d forgotten
to tell Jude about it.

He gasped, “I’m sorry, come again?”

“She called me yesterday and asked me to have lunch with
her.”

“And you said yes?” Ryan exclaimed, “Are you out of your
mind?”

“Fuck no. I asked her to stop calling me and that was
that.”

I heard Jenna’s voice in the back asking him to put the
phone on speaker.

“Good morning Jenna.” I said.

“Hi sweetie.” She greeted in her hangover voice, “What is
the deal with this Audrey character?” She started, “She came in, and with my
throbbing headache it took me a moment to realize who she was. When I told her
you weren’t here, she pushed the door and walked inside like a fucking psycho. Ryan
had to threaten her with Landon. He started with the police, then Evelyn, and
when she didn’t seem to take a hint, he pretended to call Landon. She ran out
of the door in a flash.”

I fell on my ass and sighed, “What am I going to do?”

“Screw her, you should tell Landon.” Ryan screeched,
clearly frustrated.

“No, absolutely not.”

“Why the hell not.” Jenna exclaimed.

“Because I said so, don’t you two dare say a word to him,
or Evelyn!” I warned, “And if she comes again, it wouldn’t matter, tell her
that I don’t live there anymore. I don’t think she would be able to work her
way passed Landon’ security in the building.”

“Baby, are you alright in there? Why is the door locked?”

I pushed to my feet and turned the knob, Landon walked
inside, shamelessly naked. My insides clenched with desire, and he could see
it, giving the smug smirk.

“I’m sorry baby; Ryan wanted to tell me about his weekend
in the Hamptons, I didn’t want to disturb you.”

He leaned forward and spoke against my mouth, “Good
morning Ryan, I hope you enjoyed it, we’ll have to call you later.”

He pressed end and placed the phone on the counter.

“Good morning baby.” He beamed at me, and nibbled down my
neck.

“I.” Kisses “Need.” Another kiss “You.” Nibble “In” Kiss
“The shower” He moved to my breast and gripped my ass to lift me up in his
arms.

I was a poster girl for happiness. Wrapping my legs around
his waist, he slid the shower cabin open and walked us inside it. He turned the
water on, taking the first blast of cold water on his back.

“God, I love you.” I breathed out and strengthened my grip
on him.

Pushing his morning erection inside me, he growled against
my ear, “I know you do baby.”

“Aah.” I groaned as I slapped my palm against the marbled
wall.

Once the water got warmer, he turned my back against the
cool marble and steadied himself sinking deeper into me. He kissed every inch
of my upper body, draping wet kisses all over my face. I arched my back
pressing my breasts to his chest. My insides quivered and unfurled with each
thrust.

I tightened my grip, my head twirling with pure bliss from
the fill of him, I clenched around him as he moved in and out of him in a slow
pace.

It was instinctive. I learned to let myself go with him,
he was the master, skillful and patient, and I was at his mercy.

“You were made for me Clea.” He said hoarsely, ‘God you’re
so tight and you keep clenching, you’re killing me baby.”

I sank my teeth in his shoulder blade, gripping a thick
muscle and sucking it.

“Do you want to mark me?”

He smiled, pushing away my strands, and pounding into me
again as our gazes hooked.

“I don’t need to, you already belong to me.” I cried out
at one hard thrust.

“You’re getting cocky Miss Dane.”

I sank my teeth again, and clenched purposely extracting a
loud grunt, “You’re killing me woman.”

“I don’t see why I wouldn’t get cocky. You are Landon
Davis, you are every woman’s desire, you are a beautiful human being inside and
out, you are like über rich, and you belong to little old me. I think that’s
enough reason for me to get cocky. So no, I don’t need to mark you, I know
exactly where I am.”

I spoke the words with complete transparency, and I meant
every word. I didn’t need him to say the words, I knew he loved me and I would
wait for him to say them when he feels that it’s the right time. He belonged to
me just as much as I belonged to him.

Landon didn’t speak for a long time; one hand gripped my
hip, while the other remained unmoving next to head and against the wall, “Oh
Clea baby, if only you knew. If you could understand what you represent, what
you mean to me, to my happiness. You are my everything.”

With one more skillful thrust, my core trembled, I clenched,
as my climax possessed me. My legs shook violently and I squeezed him to the
point of hurt. I raised my head, my whole body going stiff.

Sinking his fingers deeper into my skin, Landon poured
himself into me with loud, delightful grunts, “Kiss me.” He rasped. I claimed
the remainder of hot semen as I gave him what he asked for, absorbing every bit
of his pleasure inside me.

“She did what?”

I glanced behind me from where I stood with Jude, and
urged him to lower his voice.

He was red and fuming, “Why the fuck didn’t you tell me?
Give me her number.”

“It’s a private one. She wanted us to meet.” I explained,
stealing futile glances to make sure that the girls were over powering Landon.

“What for?” He rubbed the back of his neck. It was Jude’s
calming reflex.

I curled my fingers around the balcony ramp, I gave him a
shrug, “I don’t know, and frankly, I don’t care. She’s clearly nuts, or
obsessed with Landon.”

I erased the stab of jealousy and pleaded with him, “Just
don’t mention anything to Landon, and most importantly, don’t do anything.” I
warned.

I knew my best friend all too well, “She’ll get bored
eventually.”

His mouth twisted, “What if she doesn’t? “

“Then I’ll deal with her, on my own.”

“No fucking way.” He ranted, “She’s clearly disturbed.
Ryan said she was hysterical checking on every room in the apartment and
calling for you. There’s no fucking way in hell I’m letting you deal with this
shit alone. You either talk to Landon, or me.”

Fearing that Landon may overhear the conversation, I
nodded my agreement silently.

“Come on guys, we’re ready.” Brandon called after us.

Jude wrapped his arm around my neck and pulled on his
cocky grin, “Ready to get your ass kicked.” Jude said, mocking my brother.

The two of them had a sibling relationship, they fought a
lot, but when it came to defend each other, they were rock solid.

“Ha!” Brandon barked, “No way, I have Nana on my team.”

I brushed off the memory of Audrey and gave him a smug
smile, “His has me on his team.”

Brandon’ smirk disappeared, “Again? I thought you’d choose
Landon.”

I shook my head, “On ne change pas une équipe qui gagne,
big bro.” I answered coolly, referring to an old French saying.

“Fuck.” He muttered under his breath and walked back
inside.

Flashing a wide grin, Landon strode to me, ”Are you
joining my team?”

“Uh-Uh, hell to the no, Davis. This game is our bitch.”
Jude interjected.

“Please.” He pleaded with a fake pout.

I laughed at the carefree man that stood in front of me,
making it damn hard for me to refuse.

“Get lost, Davis. It’s not happening.” Jude pulled us
apart, earning himself a hard glare. I watched Landon tense.

“Come on DeeDee.” I looked down to find Aurelia groping
his knee and urging him to get inside the house.

“DeeDee?” I mirrored, unable to conceal my grin.
