Chapter Thirty Eight

Everybody sat outside in the courtyard and watched the fire blaze as they drank beer and ragged on each other.

“Damn, Preacher, you’re crazier than what I thought,” Tiny laughed.

“Pissed me off when he came up in the club with his colors on. That’s just fuckin’ disrespectful, man.” Preacher leaned down and growled in Daisy’s ear, “Pissed me off when he wanted to talk to you too.”

She looked up at him with admiration, “You saved me.”

“I told ya, I’m not your knight in shining armor. You might want to get to know me better before you decide if you like me or not.”

“I already know I like you. The question is… do you like me?”

“Depends on how good of a show you put on for me with that dildo later,” he whispered in her ear.

The embarrassment that colored her face beet red did nothing to stop the moistening between her thighs. She had never experienced a time when a man had turned her on the way Preacher did.

“Yeah, Raven, thanks for telling me you had some guy send you black roses,” Tiny stated, catching his woman completely off guard.

Raven’s face dropped as she eyed Red angrily as if she had been the one who told him.

Red threw her hands up in mock surrender. “I swear I didn’t say anything.”

Tiny eyed her accusingly, “Honor among thieves?”

“No, honor among old ladies though.” Red meekly muttered.

Tiny directed his next statement to Raven. “Yeah, you girls get pissed when we brothers stick together and don’t tell y’all something and, yet, you girls do the same thing.

Derrick piped in before things got too heated. “We got it straight. I found out it was a harmless customer who had a crush on our beautiful Raven.”

“Every man who gets within fifty yards of her falls in love with her,” Red chided.

“Hey, hey, hey,” Tiny grumbled.

The party and the cutting up with each other went on long into the night. They were a tight knit family and for now, life was good.

Hell, even Preacher had ended up with an old lady and nobody had been expecting that to happen. Everyone was fitting into the club and into their allotted job slots well. Yes, life was good.

There would be more to their story now that Red had been given the go ahead to write under anonymity. People needed to know that though they were one percenters, they were still human. They were just a group of people who had vowed to live free, ride free, and die free…

Epilogue: One Year Later

Talon eyed the woman he had spent the last year of his life with. He had wondered if time would chip away at the excitement they shared between them, but it hadn’t. He loved her more now than ever. He reached over to the end table and pulled out the small, black, velvet box from the drawer where he had it stashed until he got the nerve to ask her. Could a professional woman like her be happy and successful with a guy like him?

“What are you doing, sweetie?” Grace leaned up on an elbow and eyed him.

“Asking you to me marry me,” he blurted out before he lost the nerve.

“I thought you’d never ask.”

“You’ll do it? You’ll marry a bad boy like me?”

She stuck her finger out and waited until he placed the beautiful, five carat, chocolate diamond engagement ring on her finger.

“That is beautiful, baby.” she stated and then passionately kissed him. She leaned up with tears in her eyes as he spoke.

“You didn’t answer me. Will you marry a bad boy?”

“The only way I will marry you is if you’re a bad boy…” She climbed on top of him and teased him as she ground down into him. She leaned down and whispered, “…and if you give me some control.”

He flipped her over and pinned her arms above her nude body. “Never!” They laughed and let their bodies bask in the wonder of MC love. This odd couple was truly a match made in MC heaven.

Anthony:

If you saw me on the street, you would immediately know me due to my high profile life of being the Governor.
I am a politician. I'm seated in church on Sundays.
I am a man with an impeccable reputation.
However, you and I both know we all have vices. My vice is, and always will be, Talia.
She is an addiction that is in my system and one that will go with me to the grave.
I own her now. I pursued her with a vengeance and I now have a contract stating that for the next year of her life, she is my property.
Talia:
My name is Talia and I am what some people refer to as a hooker, a whore, a prostitute, an escort, or a lady of the evening. I do just fine on my own. I’ve never needed a knight in shining armor… until now.
He is dark, demanding, in control, dangerous, and powerful. He is the Governor and he is my knight in shining armor, or so he says…
He now owns me. He has coveted me from the moment that he first laid eyes on me. He pursued me until he convinced me to sign a contract that gave him ownership of me for a year.
He can do anything that he chooses to me. I am his property to do with as he sees fit and he is one sexually deviant, twisted individual.

This is our story. It is NOT a love story. It IS a dark, erotic tale.
