Boo turned and looked around her new room. She had been a little surprised when the guys brought her to this bungalow. She really thought before she walked into the immaculate living room that she would actually be walking into a bachelor pad. Boo had imagined bike engines on the coffee table, beer cans strewn all around and dirty clothes littering the living space. She had been wrong, and thankfully she had been wrong about the kitchen as well. It was just as clean as the rest of the house, which made her extremely happy. It would have sucked to find dirty dishes with five-day old food stuck on them.
What she did find was a pleasantly decorated home. Of course, there wasn’t even a touch of a woman’s hand in the place. It was decorated with brown leather couches, the kitchen table was a nice dark cherry wood, and the chairs were leather as well. Brown was the predominate theme in all the rooms, she noted, which of course made her itch to throw a splash of color here or there.
They had deposited her in the bungalow and left to go shopping at the Harley store (code for Victoria Secrets, which she couldn’t think of right now, because it made her stomach flip), and then to the grocery store to get food. Maxi had left to get her toiletries and she was left here, feeling a little out of sorts after everything that had happened. Boo had just done what she normally did and saw the bright side of things. She took this as a good time to acquaint herself with the inner goings on of the biker club.
Truth be told, even though she had been on the club grounds on many occasions, she hadn’t really participated in their daily things. She had stuck to the medical room or in one of the Lady Riders’ homes. That was pretty much the extent to her knowledge of the biking world. She picked up her phone and called Bic to get her to answer some questions. Of course, she didn’t expect all of the Lady Riders to show, which was what happened ten minutes ago when she opened the door.
“Let’s clear the air a little before we get started here,” Shady said and looked around as the girls nodded. “I have no clue why the fuck you ever thought you weren’t a Lady Rider, you are one of us, and you will be one of us until the day you take your last breath. Boo, you have proven time and time again you have what it takes to be a Bitch. We live by a code, and it is one you have fulfilled and followed without realizing it. I would say it is because you were meant to be a Rider. We fucked up, all of us, but me especially. I am the leader of this club, and every time I came here I just assumed and didn’t talk to Bic about shit I should have. I am sure there are a few other women I need to talk to and I will, I promise. But right now, we are dealing with you, and this is long overdue.”
Shady held out her hand to Harmony who place a leather vest in her arms and Boo’s eyes got wide and she suddenly couldn’t swallow.
Holy shit, a cut, a fucking Lady Riders’ cut!! EKKKKK!
Her inner chick screeched and she looked around the room to the grinning ladies. Oh my God, she was finally going to get what she wanted. She was gonna be a part of a family, it would be hers, she would have people to lean on, talk to, share her problems with. Even though she had known when the guys and her had talked, she was building a support system of a sort. However, this was something else, a sisterhood she had always wanted but never had. They accepted her unconditionally, she didn’t have to prove herself to them because she already had. The feeling was like something she had never experienced, even with her parents. Crap, she was gonna cry.
“This cut comes with a code. The Lady Riders’ code: A Bitch who is in it for the long run, will stay with you and have your back no matter what. You have already shown this and we failed to show you. That is our bad and I promise we will make it up to you,” Shady said and held out the cut to her.
Boo took the leather vest and looked at it. On the back was the patch for the Ops Warriors, and the Lady Riders, and on the front there was a name plate that said Boo. She felt the tears gathering in her eyes, damn it all to hell, how had they gotten this so quickly. Bic stepped forward.
“I dropped the ball mostly. I have had that vest for a month or more and just kept forgetting it with all the shit that was going on. It is no excuse, you are a Lady Rider and I should have respected that. Free and I have talked, and maybe we have been a little bit lax in how we ran things here. It is good Creed and Fork are here now, they are gonna whip it into shape and we will be happy to let them. We forgot, we are fucking sorry we forgot the first rule in the Ops code, which is togetherness.”
Shady looked at Bic and gave her a nod, and Boo was sniffling as she was welcomed into the club and as they helped her put on her cut. When she turned around she saw all the Lady Riders grinning as they began clapping. It was a heady feeling and one she was never going to forget.
When things settled down, finally the women began to look around, Boo assumed they were trying to figure out what they were doing here.
“Huh,” Shady said putting her hands on her hips. “Leather, you can tell a lot about a guy by his furniture choices.”
Boo frowned and looked around the room, she had said everything was brown, well everything was brown, and wasn’t sure what that said about the guys.
“How so,” Freedom grinned.
“Lots of leather in here,” Shady said and wiggled her eyebrows. Boo still didn’t get it and Bic put an arm around her and laughed.
“Boo, stop thinking so hard, things will be just fine,” she said and Boo was even more confused, but she let that go. “Okay, so what do you need?”
Boo bit her lip and said, “I need a crash course in Biker Bitch 101.”
All of the women stopped and stared at Boo. She wasn’t sure why and she shifted a little on her feet feeling like a bug under a microscope.
“What?” Boo finally asked and Harmony stepped forward. She was the old lady to the Presidents of the Ops. Boo felt a little nervous around her like always.
“First off,” Harmony said. “Stop looking at me like I am gonna kill you, I am a nice person—most of the time. Besides, you’re cute like a bunny and I would never hurt a bunny.”
Everyone laughed but Boo, who was trying to relax as Harmony continued, “Okay, chicka, I am gonna lay this out there. When you think of a Biker Bitch you think of Shady, she is like the picture perfect bitch and we all know it.”
Boo nodded and slid a look at Shady who was rolling her eyes a little. But it was true, the woman had it going on. Boo wished she were taller.
Freedom nodded and stepped up, and the two women were circling her and looking her over. “I agree with Harmony. I mean, Shay is like what we all strive to be. Cool as a cucumber in difficult situations and she has that look, it even works on her guys. You know that one.”
Shady stared at Freedom who started jumping up and down and put a finger on her nose and pointed to Shady. “That one, it scares the shit out of anyone. I mean, it says don’t mess with me or anyone around me or I will kill you. And it is serious, like most people shake in their boots when they see it.”
Harmony laughed. “Okay, now second off, we have all had to come into our Biker Bitch during our entrance into this world. Free, she was almost killed by a group of fuckers who her father owed money to. Shady, she killed her step-brother and step-father, although she was honestly born a Biker Bitch, her first steps taken, Shady walked with a swagger. My point is, all of us had to make the decision to be a Biker Bitch.”
Boo grinned and asked, “What was yours?”
Harmony looked up to the ceiling and Free snorted loudly. “She totally killed some guy with a spork.”
“Huh?” Boo asked, looking from Freedom to Harmony.
“No shit,” Shady said. “Harmony was in this coffee place.”
“Starbucks is not a coffee place, it is like nirvana, the whole place,” Harmony said, closing her eyes and then opening them and looking at Boo. “Trust me, there is a Starbucks two blocks down. I already have the app on my phone. We can order it first and then send a Prospect to get it, it is a new thing on their app and it is awesome. Anyway, order a Carmel Macchiato Frappuccino with extra caramel drizzle, and an everything bagel toasted with cream cheese and you will be in heaven. Like no shit, heaven.’
“Okay, okay,” Shady said and looked at Boo. “Get used to it, the woman and her Starbucks, it is like nuts. Anyway, she is in the Starbucks and some dipshit decides to fuck with her. He knocked her bagel on the ground and so she stuck a spork in his neck. No shit, a spork.”
Boo looked at the women a little warily. “There is no way I could stick a spork in anyone.”
Harmony shrugged and said, “It’s a gift, not many can. But that is beside the point.”
“Really you have a point?” Free laughed.
Harmony turned and pointed at Freedom, who continued to laugh, only louder now. “I do, shut it. Being a Biker Bitch is not for everyone. Hell, being a biker is not for everyone, but if you are truly meant for this you will be able to see what I mean.”
Boo was silent and then Shady whispered to her, “I think this is where she wants you to say ‘hell yeah’ or something along those lines.”
“Oh,” Boo said and then looked at the women. “Hell yeah?”
“Really,” Bic said, putting a hand on her hip and leaning forward. “Do you know how I got my name?”
Boo shook her head. “Some skank tried to chat up Freebyrd one night in a bar. I just happened to be there with a few of the girls and saw it. Took my lighter and torched her Dolly wannabe hairdo.”
“I beat the shit out of this woman during a hellacious rainstorm,” Rain said.
“What we are all saying is,” Harmony said gently. “To be a Biker Bitch is to channel your inner biker babe. Not right now, I mean, right now we can do a lot to help you. ‘Cause I love you, but damn, girl, you look like the sweet fresh faced girl next door. And we need to figure out something to do about your cute name.”
She did
, Boo thought, her long blond hair and petite body was the proverbial girl-next-door. Heck, she didn’t even have a tattoo; she was a little freaked by needles.
This was hopeless,
she thought and looked at the other women, she would totally never be like them. They all were hot and sexy wearing their biker attire and bleeding sexuality. Hell, she would look like she was dressing up for Halloween if she dressed like them. She was too small and cute to look mean.
“How long do you suppose we have?” Treat looked Boo over from top to bottom.
“As long as we fucking want,” Shady snorted and Boo’s eyes got big, they were planning something. She had only wanted advice, that was it, advice.
“Good, make the call,” Harmony said and looked at her from head to toe and turned to the women. “Call the men, ladies, it could be a long day.”
Bob said from the kitchen, “Okay, well I am ordering Chinese then, where are the menus to go?”
Kink and Magnum stormed into the main clubhouse and saw all the guys sitting there having a beer and they glared at them.
“Someone mind telling me why the fuck I am not in my house right now, attempting to get my woman into the bedroom?” Magnum growled.
“Or why the fuck your women are with her and took the bags of shit we bought Boo and then proceeded to kick us out of our own damn house?” Kink snapped.
“Nope,” Poke said over his shoulder and then Maxi spoke up.
“You need to get some fucking women for Bitches hired so we can test them out here. My balls are about ready to fall off from lack of attention. First, the moms in New York who keep calling my ass ‘cause they found a nice woman for me, and being on lockdown. The pussy has dried up, man.”
“Yeah,” Bones said, he had been in this Chapter for about two years. Him and Maxi seemed to be the leaders of the new group of Enforcers they had. Buzz, Ice, Cowboy, and Dusty were all hanging together, they were also the ones who would be on Boo’s detail. “We need to get some pussy in here like fast, ‘cause all the women around here are taken. We need fresh meat.”
Slider leaned back and laughed loudly. “Shit, Shay would kick your ass any day of the week if you called her pussy.”
Buzz leaned forward and looked at his leaders and said quietly, “Some may say you all have gone soft. You know, ‘cause you have all been claimed.”
Easy stood and Poke right along with him as he walked over to the table where the Enforcers were sitting. Buzz leaned back and crossed his arms over his chest.
