Guns n' Boys Book 1 Part 2 (7 page)

“Yeah, go on, show me.” Seth looked around,
but noticing no one, he entwined his fingers with Dom’s. The slight
evening chill had him feeling fresh and aware after that hour in a
dusty pantry.

Domenico didn’t react at first, but
eventually stroked his thumb over Seth’s hand and led him down the
hill, into the vineyard. It was empty by that time of day, but they
kept walking lower as they traversed the hillside. Only after they
reached a small, secluded spot where the ground formed a natural
hideout did Dom stop and sit down in the grass.

Seth joined him, but took the chance to steal
a kiss, briefly sucking on the soft lips. “So this is where
Domenico Acerbi bottomed?” He whistled and looked around. It was
quite cozy with bushes on one side and the cliff hiding them from
prying eyes.

Domenico snorted and produced a Swiss army
knife with a corkscrew. “Among other places. No one can see you
here.”

Seth raised his eyebrows with a grin and
leaned back on his elbows. “Among other places? Hold on there,
‘cause I’m getting hot.” He laughed and pretended to let the heat
out from beneath his T-shirt.

When Dom’s gaze strayed to his exposed skin,
he knew he’d reached his goal.

“I didn’t do it only once, obviously.”

“So you did like it.” Seth tried to challenge
that ‘no bottoming’ attitude. Was this his golden ticket?

Domenico opened the wine with a popping noise
and gulped down some of it straight from the bottle. The sun
shining through the dark green glass shed a sickly, purplish light
on his neck.

“Why are you so interested all of a
sudden?”

“I’m always interested in you bottoming. For
me preferably.” Seth’s smile kept widening, and he felt a pleasant
tingling in his body. He decided to move closer to Dom, so that he
could smell him, feel the heat of his body. The cool grass beneath
them was slowly heating up, and the earthy smell of the ground
seeped into Seth’s senses, giving him the impression they were
alone in the world.

Domenico snorted. “I see. If you need to
know, I was young, in love, and I wanted it then.”

Seth took the bottle from Dom’s hands and had
a few gulps. “Huh?” He knocked on Dom’s chest. “You mean, you have
a heart, Tinman?”

Domenico chuckled, spreading out on the
grass. He used one of his arms as a pillow and looked into the
pink-tinted clouds above them. Seth wondered what shapes he was
seeing in them. Spilled blood? “That’s one of the places where you
can kill me.”

Seth slowly lay next to
him, on his stomach, lifting up on his elbows, so he could look at
Dom. “Did
he
kill
you?”

For a brief moment, the skin around
Domenico’s eyes tensed, but he then closed his eyes with a small
smile. “He did.”

Seth was surprised to see Dom bare so much,
but he wouldn’t use it against him. He wouldn’t use it to betray
him. “Is that why you stopped bottoming?” He laid his face on Dom’s
chest, listening to the rapidly quickening heartbeat beneath that
fragrant skin. Domenico swallowed again, remaining silent for
longer than usual.

“No. He gave me up when someone else got
interested in me.”

Seth frowned and inhaled the smell of Dom’s
cologne, grass and dirt. He could stay here for a while. “Why would
he do that?”

“Frederico Villani.”

Seth didn’t comprehend it for a longer
moment, but his suspicions got the hairs on his forearms bristling.
“What about him?”

“He asked my boyfriend to never speak to me
again.” Dom shrugged, blinking at the sky. “He found me attractive,
so he invited me over to his study, and so it began.”

Seth’s lips curled in disgust. His uncle, the
consigliere? “He’s what? Twenty years older? What the fuck? And
he’s gay?” Seth sat up, unable to comprehend this. “And your ex?
What a fucking douche.”

“Frederico’s not that bad looking,” muttered
Dom, refusing to look at Seth. “But I wouldn’t have chosen
him.”

“He’s your fucking uncle.” Seth gritted his
teeth and crossed his arms on his chest.

“He didn’t act like one.”

“Ew, I think I’m gonna puke.” Seth put his
hands over his face. What a fantastic fucking family. “How old were
you?”

“Fifteen.” Domenico’s hand rested on Seth’s
head, petting it gently.

“Did he hurt you that you never wanted to
bottom again?” Seth couldn’t help the frown under his hands. He
felt so sorry for Dom, and there was nothing he could do.

“What are you asking about?” Dom groaned,
tensing up.

“I mean,” he dared to look up at Dom, “did he
cause you pain?”

Domenico laughed. “Come on, Seth, this was
going on for years. Don’t make a victim out of me. I wouldn’t be
here if it weren’t for his support.”

“Why’d you stop then if it was so good?” Seth
pouted and looked away.

“It wasn’t
good
, but that was the
only way I could be a part of this Family. I had to... be
agreeable, so I was.” Domenico shrugged. “That’s all it was, but
I’m not going there again.”

“Did you just compare bottoming for me to
getting fucked by my uncle?” Seth groaned, heat rising in his
body.

“I didn’t say that. I just don’t want to
bottom.”

Seth watched Domenico pull grass out of the
ground time and time again, as if he wanted to have them all out in
the open, roots and all.

Dom cleared his throat. “I don’t want anyone
to control me like that, I don’t want orders in my bed. This is
good,” he insisted.

Seth crawled up higher, to kiss Dom’s lips.
There was a new closeness between them that he couldn’t quite yet
grasp. “When I become Don, you won’t have to follow orders like
that,” he said and it was the first good thing he found in his
position-to-be. That maybe he’d be able to give Dom protection.

Domenico chuckled. “No one would dare to do
it to me anymore, but thanks.” He pressed a brief kiss to Seth’s
cheek.

“How did it end with Frederico then?” Seth
curled his arms around Dom’s waist, hugging him close. Oh God, he
could melt into this man whenever he inhaled his scent.

Domenico’s hands slowly closed around Seth in
a loose embrace. “I did him a favor, and made him promise to break
it up in exchange. He wasn’t happy, but he did honor our
agreement.”

“You’re like this iceberg, and I have to work
my pickaxe for every block I chop off. What favor did you do? Did
you kill someone?” Seth whispered.

Domenico looked down at him with a smile, as
if the topic of murder was familiar enough to relax him. “Yes. Boy
Santo didn’t have the guts, so I did the job, and he got made.”

Seth licked his lips, trailing his fingertips
over Dom’s stomach. “He seems to have grown out of it. But at least
you got to… you know, get out of the arrangement with
Frederico.”

“Yeah, no offense, but your uncle’s more of
a bastard than I am.” Domenico chuckled and leaned forward to kiss
Seth’s forehead.

He was Dom’s uncle as well, but Seth thought
it was better not pointed out. “Maybe now you just need to find the
right guy to bottom for?” Seth looked into his eyes. It wasn’t
about pushing for power anymore, he just wished he could make Dom
feel good about it again.

Dom sighed, looking into the sky. Seth
hadn’t even noticed when it became darker.

He slid a finger through the gap between the
buttons on Dom’s shirt and touched the naked skin. It was
pleasantly warm and inviting. “Sometimes it takes a while, but
finding the right guy for the job is worth the wait.”

With a gentle swipe of his fingers, Domenico
pulled Seth in and met him halfway for a slow, languid kiss. “You
waited for me,” he whispered.

Seth crawled over him, with all his senses
already on fire. “I suppose I did,” he said, looking into Dom’s
eyes. His skin showed goose bumps, his hairs were bristling, and
when Domenico swirled his thumb over his ear, cupping his jaw, the
tingling in his body became almost unbearable.

“You could never possibly forget me now,”
mouthed Domenico, with hardly any sound present. His dark eyes
shone in the last rays of daylight.

Seth ground into him with a groan. Of course
he wouldn’t forget a guy like Dom. His life was changed forever
since they met, and it wasn’t only because of Father’s decisions.
“Dom?” he whispered into those hot, soft lips. They pushed against
his, already fueling his hunger.

“Yes?” whispered Domenico with a softness he
rarely voiced.

Seth licked Dom’s top lip with the tip of his
tongue and ground his hips into Dom’s again, sliding his hands down
his body. “Is there anywhere more private we can go?”

Seth could feel the sigh going through
Domenico’s body. “You want to bottom again?”

“I-- um… I don’t know if we’ll have the right
space, but I could give your dick some attention, and you could
return the favor?” Seth’s nostrils flared as he feasted on his
lover’s masculine scent. “I miss you.”

Domenico sat up, taking Seth with him in a
firm embrace. “Yeah, there is somewhere...”

“I don’t feel that safe when you’re not in
my bed,” Seth blurted out to make it sound teasing, but he meant it
with all his heart. He kissed Dom once more, straddling his lap,
but a sudden pull kept him in place as Domenico parted his lips
aggressively. His teeth scratched Seth’s lips as he ate them as if
he wanted to devour Seth whole. Breathless, Seth wrapped his arms
around Dom’s neck. He never wanted to leave this position, their
bodies entwined, with Seth’s thighs spread to accommodate Dom’s
hips. The mere thought made his skin tingle and his cock harden. He
opened his mouth for his lover’s tongue, inviting him into
penetration. The chill in the air did nothing to cool him down. His
heart was thumping in his chest like for no man ever before. Seth
even fantasized about Dom lately, not some random hotties, when he
lay in bed at night, staring at the ceiling and wishing Dom would
come and slide underneath the comforter.

He was so immersed in the moment the kiss
only ended after Domenico pushed him away. He was holding Seth with
both hands and taking deep, calming breaths.

“Let’s go,” he muttered as he moved his hips,
raising Seth with them.

Seth followed like a lovesick pup, his lips
still burning with the kiss. “What secret hideout do you have,
huh?”

Domenico smiled at him and got up from the
grass. “Maybe you know of it already?”

“Just take me there, I’m freaking horny,”
Seth moaned and squeezed his dick through the jeans. He wrapped his
other arm around Dom’s waist and went for his lips again.

Dom’s eyes twinkled, and he grabbed Seth’s
hand, climbing back up the hill. “I’ve got lube,” he muttered, as
if it required praise.

Seth licked his lips. Maybe they could go
all the way after all? It had been over two weeks, and his memory
was blurring. Seth needed to sharpen it up. “If there’s a place to
wash… I suppose.”

Domenico groaned, pulling him closer. He
easily kissed Seth on the forehead, and it took Seth a moment to
realize things like that didn’t happen to him all that often. He
was taller than most of his lovers, but Dom, being Dom, took the
chance when he stood higher up.

“Who do you fuck around here otherwise?” Seth
asked, trying to sound casual. It all felt so intimate it was
freaking him out.

Domenico’s hand immediately tightened on his.
“I don’t want you hooking up with them.”

“You worried I might like them better?” Seth
bent to nudge Dom with his nose. He didn’t want Dom’s ego to
explode.

“I don’t want a slut,” growled Domenico.

Seth rolled his eyes. “Watch it.”

“Watch what?”

“What you say to me.” Seth frowned. “You
can’t do that.”

“What do you expect?” Domenico threw his arms
to the sides with a frown. “A fair warning.”

Seth wanted to answer, but in the end he
just pouted and pushed his hands into his pockets. He didn’t know
where he stood with Dom. Was he a temporary piece of meat? Was he a
friend in the making? Was he someone Dom wanted to wield power
over? The lack of sufficient light didn’t make it any easier to
read Dom’s intentions.

Domenico let his head fall back in a gesture
of helplessness. “Time’s too precious anyway. Let’s go.”

Seth opened his mouth, but then Dom’s phone
rang. It was starting to become Seth’s least favorite sound on the
planet. “Oh, for fuck’s sake, will we ever get to fuck?” he
groaned.

But Domenico was already answering, despite
the scowl on his own face. “Yes?”

Seth’s cell phone vibrated in his pants, but
he wasn’t about to answer it when he fished it out and realized it
was Vincente.

Dom immediately walked away, quietly talking
to somebody on the other end of the line. His pale shirt was moving
with the breeze, and so was his hair. It was such a picturesque
sight, it was making Seth uneasy.

His brother wouldn’t stop calling, so Seth
gave in and finally picked up the call. It looked like the
possibility of sex would be snatched from him yet again.
“What?”

There was a snort that croaked at the other
side of the line, but then, Vincente spoke up. “Are you out
shooting rabbits that you can’t answer on time?”

“I just… I was busy.” Seth took a long
breath, slowly walking up to Domenico and touching the soft ends of
his hair. He wanted to be all sorts of busy with Dom, and for a
second or two, it looked like he would be. Domenico put the cell
back into his pocket and gestured for him to finish talking to
Vincente, who was sounding smugger with each word he uttered.

“That’s new. I thought you’re enjoying your
extended holiday.”

Seth gave Dom a confused look. “Well, yeah,
but I have stuff to do. Before the wedding and all.”

“Father requires you in the house as soon as
possible. I will be waiting for you in the living room.”
