Farrah in Fairyland (34 page)

Farrah
tried to keep her composure, but this was all for nought when she
spotted Keilani and Bruce near the back of the crowd. They both
looked elegant in their fairy gowns. Smiling happily, they held up
a sign which read.
“Thank You, Farrah, for Saving our lives.”

Farrah blew
kisses to them, which prompted some hoots and hollers from the
crowd. Returning her attention to the Queen, she leaned in to
whisper in Farrah’s ear.

One day, you will rule this land in my place.”
Although shocked, Farrah nodded
as an indication that she was willing to accept the honour. After a
quick bow of courtesy, Farrah turned and walked to the edge of the
stage. With the help of the Star in her pocket, she was able to
descend the stage elegantly.

Giuseppi took
a deep breath summoning as much confidence as he could. He met
Farrah at the foot of the stage, and without speaking he took her
hand.

“Where are we
going?” She asked, as her friend was pulling her.

“Just trust
me,” he said as he continued to walk determinedly.

It didn’t take
long for Farrah to realize that he was taking her to Mount
Michelutz, but when they got to the top, it wasn’t the usual
surroundings that she knew. There was a large red blanket on the
ground, surrounded by bunches of bright red roses. On the blanket
were all of Farrah’s favourite foods including a colourful
assortment of Cactus Tulip muffins. Sitting off to the side on a
large rock was a yellow bogyfrog that whistled beautifully. The
pointy-headed creature whistled louder as the two fairies
approached. Two Farfollo creatures were standing by with bottles of
Melo Juice in their hands.

“What is all
this?”

“It’s for you,
my Tooth Fairy. I can’t think of anyone worthier of a grand feast,
than the great Farrah Fancycracker.”

Giuseppi led
her onto the blanket where they took a seat next to a large
cornucopia of buzzo berries and chocolate clusters. Giuseppi took a
chocolate and placed it carefully in Farrah’s mouth, which made her
giggle.

“Giuseppi, you
are the best,” said Farrah, as she continued to chew on the
chocolate in her mouth. Digging into his pocket, Giuseppi threw
some Pixie Dust into the air. Farrah looked up in awe as hundreds
of rose petals rained gently onto their heads.

“Ah, ah,
you’re the best,” Giuseppi said, placing his hand on Farrah’s
cheek. For once, he wasn’t the one blushing from a touch. Now,
Farrah was the one, who for the first time, was looking at Giuseppi
as more than just a friend.
