We can all go to get the DNA test. Me, you, Lil Nathan and Leslie.
NATHAN
Leave Leslie out of this. She has enough to deal with and my mess as it is.
RACHEL
Poor Leslie.
NATHAN
I am facing murder charges because of you.
RACHEL
That’s your fault. Your shouldn’t have hung Alton with your sheets and you shouldn’t have shot O’Keefe.
NATHAN

RACHEL
Come on with the name calling.
NATHAN
I have got to find a way to move on with my marriage and you need to move on with your life. You have got to find a way to move beyond the past.
RACHEL
I guess by moving beyond I am supposed to forget about what happened between us. When you divorce Leslie or she dies, whichever comes first, you will be with me and our son.
NATHAN
I will never be with you. If Lil Nathan is mine I will find a way to get him from you.
RACHEL
I have lost everything that I have ever loved, including you. If I can’t have you can I at least have your friendship?
I took a deep sign and exhaled into the wind.

LESLIE
Where have you been?
NATHAN
I went to the fair and then for a walk.
LESLIE
With who?

As much as I want to believe you Nathan I can’t.

LESLIE
The only thing that might change you is death or a child. We don’t have any children and I hope you aren’t dying.
I stood against the drawer quietly. She rose in the bed and glared at me.
LESLIE
Please tell me you are not dying. Do you have a virus or disease and you haven’t told me?
NATHAN
No nothing like that.
LESLIE
You have a child out there.
NATHAN
I don’t know Leslie.
LESLIE
You bastard. Get your shit and get out of my house.
NATHAN
This is not your house.
LESLIE
I may not be on the mortgage but I am on the deed.
NATHAN
You know this is all you have wanted. The big house, the fancy cars, the fine clothes and jewelry. I put myself in debt trying to make you happy all of these years. You know some friends of mine asked me a long time ago, “Shouldn’t you be worried that Leslie may be having an affair. She is always out saying that she is in school late at night.”
LESLIE
What are you saying?

So you were having an affair on me while you tried your best to blame everything on me.
Before I knew it she slapped me across my face.

Who Do You Love
On a late Friday night I drove to Rachel’s apartment against my will. As usual I wasn’t sure what she wanted but I would do anything to keep her from harming Vanessa and Aiden.
I pressed the doorbell and waited. When the door opened she stood there with her robe half opened. Her ample breasts wer

NATHAN (yelling out)
I am about to take a shower.
LESLIE
We need to talk.
NATHAN
I will be down in a few.
LESLIE
I am coming up.
RACHEL (whispering)
Not a word
I raced to the bathroom and started the water again before Leslie arrived.
LESLIE
Are you already in the shower?
NATHAN
Ahh yeah.
LESLIE
Look I have been thinking. I want to make our marriage work.
NATHAN (sticking my head out)

LESLIE
I do. I don’t want to live without you but you are going to have to make changes.
I looked up and saw Rachel in the background shaking her head. Leslie turned to see what I was looking at, but Rachel vanished behind the wall.
NATHAN

I reached and gave her a soapy wet kiss.
LESLIE
I am about to go grocery shopping. I will be back soon.
NATHAN
I love you.
LESLIE

Leslie blew me a kiss and walked out. Rachel came from behind the wall mimicking us.
RACHEL

NATHAN
If you do anything stupid I will kill you myself.
RACHEL

Rachel pulls a gun out on me and points it.

Imagine That
I paced the waiting room several times. I needed someone to talk to. Someone to help me calm down. I dialed Aiden’s number but the operator stated that the number was no longer in service. I could not believe that he changed his number. I guess when he told me that it was over between us – it really was over.
A nurse called my name and I raced over to her. She walked me to the back where Leslie was. I rushed over to her and grabbed her hand. She turned to me and smiled.
NATHAN
How are you feeling?
LESLIE
I am okay.
NATHAN
What happened?
LESLIE
I am not sure. I was feeling fine and the next thing I know I was in an ambulance.
DOCTOR (walking in reading a clipboard)
Mrs. Edwards how are we feeling?
LESLIE
I am fine.
DOCTOR
Well I have some of your test results right here. Do you want to talk alone?
LESLIE
It’s fine Doctor this is my husband.
DOCTOR
Okay. Well the first test we ran came back positive.
Oh lord. The word “positive” scared me to death. My lifestyle flashed before my eyes. I had something that I was too afraid to have checked and had passed it to my wife. This was my fault. My life as I knew it was completely over.
