Dice (A Righteous Outlaws Novel #3) (10 page)

My eyes widened under her stare. A slight smile tugged at the corner of her lips, but I couldn’t tell if it was from humor or satisfaction. She wasn’t the easiest person to read. DC let out a string of giggles behind us, but neither of us moved.

I went to speak, but the door opened and Kade and Dice walked in. His eyes immediately locked on mine, pinning me in place. We hadn’t spoken since I took off last night. It was all just so overwhelming and I needed to think. Or, at least I thought I did. Now, sitting here, looking into those melted chocolate eyes, my head told me to run but my heart told me to fling my arms around him. It was a constant battle in my mind. Good vs evil.

“Hey,” he said, coming to me as Kade took Sienna in his arms.

“Hey to you too.” He smelled like tobacco and leather, a delicious mixture that had my mouth watering to taste him.

“Are you off the clock?”

“I am.”

His hand rested on my elbow, a chain reaction of heat and goosebumps wracking my body. “Come with me.”

“Where are we going?”

A smile spread wide across his face and it nearly undid me. “It’s a surprise.”

The answer came quickly and without thought. “Okay.”

fter a day
of hiding out around the docks, spying on Gordita’s army, I was ready for a beer. But, the minute I spotted Allison’s car in the driveway I changed my mind. The only thing I wanted was her. She left me last night. Ran off and, even though I thought about going after her, I didn’t. I honestly assumed she would be gone by morning and never look back. The fact that she was still here did some crazy shit to my insides.

When she agreed to come with me, it was like the greatest fucking victory of all. Last night’s little disaster didn’t scare her off. She saw the bad, and now I wanted to show her something good. Let her see me outside the confines of the club. The club might have been my life, but there was more to me than just that. I never fucking cared before, but I had a strong desire to show it to Allison.

“So, where are we going?” Allison asked, as we stopped at a red light.

“You’ll see.”

The light turned green and I revved the engine. Her hands tightened on my stomach and she pressed her tits tightly against my back. My cock throbbed beneath my jeans. It took all that I had not to veer my bike off the road and bend her sweet little ass over it. She was in another one of those dresses she wore, and it would be so easy to toss the material out of the way.

The vision of her ass pointed high in the air, waiting for me to slide my dick into her tight pussy, stayed with me the entire way to our destination.

I pulled onto Alaskan Way, and found a spot next to a meter. Then, I fed the meter and helped Allison out of her helmet. Her red hair fell down in waves onto her shoulders, and I brushed it behind her ear. Her pink lips practically begged for me to kiss them, but I decided I wasn’t going to make another move.

After everything, I knew she was scared and I wasn’t going to force her into anything she didn’t want to be part of. I was a biker with a fucking heart and sometimes that shit bit me in the ass, but when it came to Allison, I knew it was the only way. My world was dangerous, and now she knew the extent of that. If she wanted to be with me, then she needed to make that choice on her own. I wasn’t going to force it, as much as I wanted to.

“Where are we going?” she asked, and I pointed across the way.

She spun from me and froze. Her eyes widened and glossed over.

“It might not be the Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica Pier, but it’s a Ferris wheel. And it just so happens to be the largest observation wheel on the west coast.”

Her entire face lit up, and it felt like I hit the fucking lottery. Knowing I put that smile on her face was worth more to me than all the money in the world. “Did you Google that?”

“I did.”

“Well, what are we waiting for?” She grabbed my arm and yanked me toward the pier. I followed her as she dodged in and out of people, not wasting a single second. We got to the ticket booth, and I bought our tickets from a teenager with bad skin.

“How much weight do these things hold?” I asked before stepping away.

“Each gondola can hold up to thirteen-hundred pounds or eight riders.”

“Okay thanks,” I said and backed away. Allison’s small hand slid into mine and dragged me toward the line.

“I’m so excited. This is the best surprise ever.”

“Happy to hear that, Al.”

She gave me an evil eye that was teasing, but not malicious, followed by a brilliant smile and a wink. I adjusted my cut and looked around the crowd, making sure we weren’t followed by anyone. Could never be too careful these days. The coast seemed clear, though I almost wished it wasn’t. Coming face to face with a rival club seemed like a good time compared to this wheel of torture, riding all the way into the fucking sky.

I tugged at my cut again, and Allison rested her hand on my chest. “You okay?”

“Fine,” I muttered. I sized up the people around us in case we had to share a cabin. The guy behind me was one donut shy of a heart attack. If he was in our cabin, we were guaranteed to go down. I focused on how happy she was when we got here and saw what I planned.

“Next,” the guy said, and we moved toward the cabin.

Allison jumped right in and I took a deep breath, following. The guy closed us off, leaving us alone in the small space. Allison sat next to me and I swallowed. “Don’t you think you should sit on the other side to even out the weight?”

“That’s not necessary.”

Her hand landed on my knee, and I focused on that. We went backward, and I grabbed for the railing. “What the fuck was that?”

Allison arched a curious eyebrow. “We’re moving…Wait a second. Are you afraid of heights?”

“No. Maybe. A little.”

She laughed, and then slapped her hand over her lips. “So, Mr. Badass Biker is scared of heights.”

“I’m not scared. I just don’t like them.” My grip tightened on the bar, and Allison ran her fingers across my white knuckles.

“It’s okay to be scared.”

“You know what would help?”

“What’s that?” she asked.

I snaked my hand around her waist and lifted her onto my lap. “A distraction.”

“Then, we’re going to miss the view.”

I cupped her face, running my thumb across her cheek. “I have all the view I need, right here in front of me.”

I wasn’t going to make a move, but if I was going to get off of this fucking horrible ride, I needed to focus my attention on something else.

“My view isn’t so bad either,” she said, then touched her lips to mine. It was soft and sweet, just like her, but after last night, afraid I’d lose her for good, I needed more.

I thrust my tongue into her mouth, and dug my fingers into her ass. A moan rumbled up her throat, so I dragged my lips down her neck, tasting her vanilla scent, and flicking my tongue against the sensitive crook of her neck and back up to her earlobe. “I need to be inside you,” I groaned against her ear.

She pulled back, looking down at me with those beautiful cobalt eyes. “Here? People can see us.”

“No, they can’t. They’re too busy looking out there.” I nodded my head toward the window. “Besides, I don’t fucking care about them. All I care about is you. I need you.” She bit her lip and I took her hand, resting it on my rock hard cock. It strained against my jeans with determination. “Can you feel how bad I need you?”

“I need you, too.” She unzipped my pants, and lifted up her dress, positioning herself over me.

“Have I ever told you how much I love your dresses?”

She eased onto me, and any other words I had fucking vanished. She was hot and tight and fucking perfect. Her hips rocked into me, and I tightened my grip on her sides, letting her fuck me at her own pace.

Tonight, I wasn’t in control and, for once, I was okay with that. She ran her hands under my shirt, sending shivers through me. Her head fell onto my shoulder as she worked me over, grinding and swaying, fucking me into sweet oblivion.

“That’s right, baby, just like that.” I reached under her dress, finding her clit and pressed my thumb to the swollen nub. Her body convulsed against me as I rubbed small circles, guiding her toward a release.

Her breath was hot against my neck and, just as her moans were about to turn to screams, she bit down on my shoulder. Pain mixed with pleasure, fueling my desire. I gripped her hips and thrust into her with long hard strokes.

Her nails dug deep into my cut, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she left marks in the leather. “Oh God, Eugene.”

The way she said my name so effortlessly was like she knew the guy behind the mask. She pulled back and looked into my eyes. I swore she saw right down to my very soul. The bridge of her nose crinkled, her lips parted, and her eyes weighed heavy with pleasure.

She was so fucking beautiful, and I hadn’t run her off yet. She stayed when I thought she wouldn’t, and that alone tugged at shit inside me.

Her hand caressed my cheek, and her teeth slid over her pouty pink lip. “I’m going to come again.”

“Wait for me.” I knotted my fingers in her hair and pulled her back to me, kissing those perfect pouty lips. Our breathing quickened. My balls tightened with pressure and, with one last thrust, I exploded inside of her.

Her body went limp against me, and I held her there, looking down at the most beautiful view I had ever seen.

I kissed her shoulder then her cheek.

She leaned back from my neck, and I brushed her hair off her face. “That was.”

“Amazing. Best sex you’ve ever had?” I said with a smile.

“Unexpected.”

“Is that a bad thing?”

Her teeth slid over her lip, leaving me on edge. Finally, her lip quirked at the corner. “No. You just make me do things I never expected I would do. Get on a motorcycle, have sex on Ferris wheel… which is basically in public.”

“The way I look at it, you’re not living life if you put restrictions on it.”

She lifted up, and I stuffed and zipped my cock back in my pants, while she took care of herself. “Is that why you joined the club?”

I shrugged. “I guess it’s part of it. But that’s not all of it.”

“Then, why?”

I didn’t talk about my past. It wasn’t a pleasant time in my life, and it was something I struggled with forgetting. There was a reason I didn’t take life seriously. A reason I found humor in anything. It was my way to survive. When my mom married Nick, the original President of the Outlaws, I finally had a family I liked. Sienna became my best friend and, after years of hating my mother, I actually began to like her. The marriage didn’t last, and I was afraid I’d lose the only family I ever had. Nick, despite his status in society, was good to me. Treated me like his own. After Mom took off, he let me stay and eventually made me a prospect of his club. Joining made him proud. It also made me become part of an even bigger family. A brotherhood that would kill for me. I didn’t care about the danger. About the illegal activities. All I cared about was finally belonging somewhere.

I knew why I joined. I just didn’t know how to put it into words to make Allison understand. She didn’t know Nick. She wouldn’t get the kind of man he was, and how making him proud meant the world to me at eighteen. How he was the only man that cared enough about me to give me an opportunity. How, when he was killed, I felt my entire world crumble around me. I wanted to leave the club, because it was almost too much to handle, but I stayed out of obligation. Nick would have wanted me to. He would have wanted me to continue the legacy he helped start.

Allison rested her hand on my arm, and, when I looked into her eyes, filled with a tender curiosity, the words fell out.

“Growing up, I never belonged anywhere. My mom had me when she was seventeen, and told me several times that she should have went through with the abortion.” Allison gasped, but I didn’t let it deter me. I continued. “She didn’t want me and, as you know, the men she brought around didn’t want me either. I was always an inconvenience. In the way. Keeping my mom from partying and whatever else she wanted to be doing. I ruined her life basically. I hated her. Then, she met Sienna’s dad and things started to change. She grew up and started being a mom. Of course, I resented her and rebelled. Up until that point, I was on my own and, when she started playing the mom card, I couldn’t be fucking bothered with her. Nick, on the other hand, I listened to him. He became the dad I never had. He was the president of the club, and he took me under his wing. When I was old enough to become a prospect, he didn’t hesitate. Eventually, I proved myself, got patched in, and I haven’t looked back since.”

Allison’s lips parted, but we had made our descent back to the ground and the operator opened the door. She turned to step off and I grabbed her hand, stopping her. I pulled her back to me, and looked deep into her eyes. “I know you probably don’t agree with it. But it’s the only life I know, the only family I have. If you can’t find a way to accept that, then I’m not sure this can work.”

She squeezed my hand. “I’m still here, aren’t I?”

I drew her against me and kissed the top of her head, grateful for whatever it was keeping Allison from running scared. “Come on, let’s get out of here.”

“My place or yours?” she said, giving me a wicked look that brought my dick right back to life.

I ever needed was the one that came with club life. Partying, fighting, shoot-outs… all those things made me feel alive. I never thought I could find that same feeling lying in bed with a girl in my arms.

Allison, without even knowing it, was showing me a different life from the one I always knew. A life I never thought I would ever have. I didn’t do relationships, like most of the guys. I was content sleeping with whatever girl would spread her legs for me that night, and then dumping her like trash the next morning. Not with Allison.

Every day she was willing to spend with me was like a fucking gift. But, if there was anything I learned from my life, it was that moments like this only lasted for so long. It was only a matter of time before something happened to fuck everything up.

I ran my hand up and down the soft bare skin of her back, watching the rise and fall with each breath she took.
