“It’s true! I did feel that way with other women. I never had that fear with you. I was connected to you from the moment I laid eyes on you.”
I loved him and I knew that no one else mattered. Sex with other men wasn’t worth losing him. If I lost him nothing else would matter to me.
“You don’t have to worry. Nothing is worth losing you. Nothing!”
He rolled over and we lay face to face on his bed. His eyes were sparkling.
“My commitment to you is stronger than anything in this world.”
“Stronger than football?” I asked.
He laughed.
“Stronger than football.”
It was funny but if he could love me more than he loved football than I had no problem giving my heart to him. He had me and I knew he wasn’t going to let me go. I didn’t want him to.
I looked up at him.
“I truly love you David. I want you to believe that.”
He kissed me on my forehead.
“I believe it babe. I believe it.”
