He wiped his hands on the dish towel, tossing it aside and pulling her to his chest, his warm hands caressing her still sore backside. “Just because you were spanked doesn’t mean all consequences are lifted. You’re going to learn, my girl, that when I say something, I don’t change my mind. I know it was a long time ago, but you
must
remember that about me.”

She did remember it, and she’d hoped he’d mellowed a little on that front. Apparently not. She pushed her lip out, pouting at him. It was going to be a very long day at that house. She couldn’t sit well, couldn’t leave the house. Had no phone, no Facebook. What would a girl do for the rest of the day?

“Oh, no. Don’t even think about pouting. It’s a surefire way to get the hairbrush.” He pulled at her lip with his forefinger.

Well, doesn’t that just sound horrid?

He walked with her into the living room, picking up his laptop off the coffee table. He pointed at the couch. “Sit.” He covered her with a blanket, placing the laptop in front of her. “You can play some of the games I have on that thing. However, you will
not
get onto Facebook. Can I trust you?”

“Yes, Daddy. I won’t. I promise. I learned my lesson.”

And she had. The last thing she wanted to do was get in trouble with him again.

He watched her face closely for a moment, staring at her in silence. “Okay. I believe you. This is the menu for the games. I’ll give you the remote to watch whatever you want on TV.”

She waited until he was out of the room, then shifted, putting her weight on her hip. He’d probably allow it, but she didn’t want to do it in front of him, just in case.

What he doesn’t know won’t hurt him.

She’d been engrossed in a game of Holiday Drops and actually jumped when the phone rang.

Do people actually have house phones anymore?

She looked at the clock on the laptop. She’d been playing games for over a half hour. Cade’s heavy footfalls were heard rushing from the kitchen toward the telephone stand in the living room. He grabbed the phone from its cradle.

“Hello.” Cade put the phone on his shoulder, wiping his hands until thoroughly dried. “Hey, Britt! How are you?

Sunni’s heart leapt into her throat.

Oh, Christ! Well, this could go really bad.

“Yeah, it’s been snowing here. It’s winter, it always snows here. How’s sunny California?”

He walked over to sit next to Sunni, squeezing her thigh, winking at her. He listened quietly for a minute, nodding. “Not much. Same old, same old. You’ll never guess who I ran into yesterday.”

He laughed. “No, not her. Try again.” He traced lacy circles with his finger on Sunni’s leg. “I ran into Sunni. I know, right? It was great to see her. She’s doing very well. Now, you know I can’t state why or how I saw her, but I assure you, no, she wasn’t getting arrested.”

Sunni scowled at him. It would be just like Brittney to assume she’d been arrested. Since they had gone their separate ways in high school, it seemed that Brittney looked down on her. Girls could be so mean.

“That’d be awesome. I forgot that Easter was in a week. It’ll be great to see you. Give me your flight numbers when you have them, and I’ll pick you up from the airport.” He chuckled, the laugh lines showing around his eyes. “Okay, I
won’t
pick you up in the Statie. Talk to you later, pumpkin. Love you too.”

He clicked the phone off. “Brittney will be here next week! Won’t that be awesome?”

“Awesome? Are you fucking
nuts?
No, that’s not awesome!” Sunni tried to get up off the couch, only to find herself held down by the burly trooper.

“Madison! You will
not
swear. I know it’s been a while, and you’re grown up now, but
that
word will never be allowed in this house.” He stared at her until she silently nodded, mumbling an apology. “And yes, I do think Britt coming home is a good thing. We’ll have a great time. You haven’t seen her in a while anyway.”

“Cade, listen…” When he raised an eyebrow at her, she quickly corrected herself. “Daddy, there’s a reason we haven’t talked. She stopped talking to me years ago. I’m not even sure why. But she hasn’t wanted to be anywhere near me for a very long time. You heard what she said; she assumed I’d been arrested. I can go back to my apartment when she comes back. The guys should be in custody by then, right?” She closed the laptop, placing it on the coffee table.

“I’m sorry about Brittney. I didn’t know. But it doesn’t matter. You two have been out of high school for almost three years now. She’s changed — and you’ve changed. She’s been in California for a while and has had to grow up. We’ll let the past be the past.”

“It’s not going to work. I can tell you with certainty. Girls don’t change that easily. I’ll be sure to not be here when she comes.” She tried pulling the blanket off. She needed to go to her room and be away from him for a bit.

“No. You won’t be at your apartment by then. The guys will be arrested but that doesn’t mean that it’ll be safe for you. I think I can still control two girls — especially both of my girls. It’ll be fine. Trust me.” He pulled her against him, kissing her temple. She wished it would be that easy, but she had her doubts.

“I’m going to finish up in the kitchen.” He stood, walking back toward the sink. “We’ll find something to do when I’m done. Oh, and Madison?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

“Don’t think I didn’t notice that you aren’t sitting on your butt. I’ll let it slide this time.”

Her pussy clenched. She didn’t even know how to respond. “Thank you?”

“You’re welcome, baby.”

Chapter 10

C
ade came through the door loaded with bags and bags — and more bags — from the mall. He was always amazed watching women at the mall; they foraged for clothes, makeup and shoes like squirrels after acorns and nuts. He swore they spent an hour in Sephora alone looking at mascara, lipstick, and foundation.

He didn’t say it to her, but he’d felt like a damn fool holding her clutch purse and pink and black-striped bags from the store next door, watching her with all that stuff painting her face — wondering why she thought she’d looked better with it. He loved her as she was. No makeup was needed. Her cheeks had a natural blush, her pink lips pouty and full, gray eye shadow and mascara completely unnecessary for her striking blue eyes. Her hair was pulled back in a ponytail.
Natural.
Women were more attractive, in his mind, without all that fluff.

“All right, sweet pea, gather your new clothes. We can start washing them so you have things to wear starting tonight. Don’t forget the rule — no panties under either your yoga pants or skirts while at home. You can wear anything you want when I’m gone to work, but I want your ass available to me when I’m home. Gotta keep Daddy happy.” He winked at her, chuckling as he piled her bags onto her bed. He swore he saw the beginning of an eye roll, but he’d let her get away with it as long as she thought he was unaware.

His cell phone vibrated in his pocket. “Trooper Cade Johnson.” His assistant, Wyatt, was on the line. By the sound of his voice, he was calling from the cruiser.

“Captain, it looks like there’ll be a transaction going down this evening with Zack and Jared tonight at Sam’s Bar.”

Cade looked over at Sunni, who was ripping tags off her clothes willy-nilly, blissfully unaware of his conversation. He slipped out of the room. “Do we know where and what time? I’d like to stay here with Sunni — Madison Weaver — unless it’s necessary for me to assist or be present.”

“They’re saying it’s supposed to be around ten on Saturday night. They’re meeting up with a… Rachel Mendez.”

“That’s a rough area over there. We need to have at least six troopers — and please tell me that the DEA is involved and will be present.” Cade turned on the coffee maker to make a fresh pot.

“Yes, Sir. The DEA notified us of where and when. It’s their show — we’re just there for back-up. I’ll contact you if we need you to talk to someone, or fill out any paperwork.”

Cade sighed loudly. “The son-of-a-bitchin’ paperwork can wait until Monday. Call if you need me for anything else.”

He clicked the phone off, turning to fill the carafe with water — bumping right into Sunni.

“Daddy, when the time comes, you can go arrest Zack and Jared. I’ll behave here on my own. Besides, I have all my new makeup, clothes, and books to read.”

He pinched her chin between his thumb and forefinger. “Were you eavesdropping on my conversation, little girl?”

Her throat visibly worked as she tried to swallow. “I heard my name, so I naturally wanted to hear
why
you said my name.”

“But you had to stand in the hallway to hear what I was saying in the kitchen, right?” He let go of her chin, putting his hands on his hips.

“Yes, Daddy.”

“If that’s the case, then you should have walked into the room so I could allow you to listen or tell you to skedaddle, right?” He quirked an eyebrow at her.

She nodded.

“Answer.”

“Yes, Sir.”

Cade dipped his chin, glaring at her. “Try again, little girl.”

“Yes, Daddy.”

“The only reason you didn’t do that is because you didn’t want to be told to move along. It’s never appropriate to listen in on my work conversations. It’s been a rule in this house for years. I have important and confidential discussions. Often. I’ll do my best to shield you from them, but when that’s not possible, you’ll have to find something else to do in another room. Clear?”

“Yes, Daddy.”

He turned her sideways, lifting her new short pink skirt, finding cute yellow and white striped panties.

“And obviously it’s time for these panties to come off.”

He pushed them down to just under her plump buttocks, and gave her several hard swats to each lightly bruised cheek. Her spanking had definitely left some reminders, and this on top of it would reinforce his rules.

“Oh, Daddy.” She held her cheeks in her hands, dancing on the tips of her toes.

“Next time you listen to my phone calls, you’ll receive a harder spanking. Now, let’s get these panties off completely in case you need more reminders today.” The new panties fell to her ankles and she pulled her feet out of them, scooping them up and turning to leave the room.

“Hold your skirt up and let Daddy see your pretty little pussy.”

She hesitated, a light blush rising on her cheeks, but she reached down to grasp the hem, pulling it up. Embarrassed, she kept it dipped down in the front, still trying to hiding the sweet pouch from his gaze.

“Up to your waist, girl. I won’t ask again. You were given an order.”

She obediently held it up higher, the peaches and cream skin coming into view, the light glimmering off the fine blonde hair just growing back in.

Cade lightly brushed his fingers and palm over the silken area, cupping her, the full, puffy lips sticky with her sweet arousal. He pushed his middle finger against the tight seam of her sex, gliding over the slick lips. Slipping just the tip into her, he teased her, the muscles gripping him, her gush of liquid making him grin.

“Keep your naughty backside out of trouble, little girl, or you may miss out on some good girl rewards later. You wouldn’t want to miss those. Trust me.”

“Yes, Daddy.”

“I feel myself wanting more of you, Sunni. Do you feel it?

“God, I thought it was only me or you didn’t want me. Yes, I want more too.” She must have felt exposed, dropping her skirt, and he let her do it, wanting her to feel comfortable with the conversation.

“If you are feeling it too — we won’t stop the next time the situation arises. If you become unsure, I’ll expect you to be honest. Okay?” Cade tipped her chin up, forcing her to meet his gaze.

“Yes, Daddy.”

“Give Daddy a kiss and hug.” He enveloped her in his arms, squeezing her tightly while she kissed his neck. “Go gather your new clothes so you’ll be able to wear them all this week.” He watched her leave, thinking about how glad he was that his desires had been revealed as far as his new little girl was concerned. He would have never guessed that he’d be interested in her — and he was pretty sure she hadn’t realized her desires either.

C
ade had forgotten how much he enjoyed having a submissive woman in the house, someone he could fondle, slap or tickle on a whim. He had been reading the morning news — local and national-- on his laptop, sitting comfortably on the couch. He pulled her onto his lap when she came into the room to fill his coffee cup. He cupped and squeezed her bare cheeks under the skirt he’d picked out for her that day as she straddled his lap, and he popped her breast out of her bra, suckling and teasing the hard nipple with his tongue.

“Sunni, a couple days ago we talked about whether you were ready for us to have sex. Are you still feeling that way? There’s no going back once we do this. I want you so bad, but the decision is totally up to you.”
