is tongue again flicked the hollowed out indention with soft caresses. "I love you, love you, love you." He repeated the phrase lifting his face above hers. A bright light filled his eyes while he gazed into her eyes. "How do you feel about me?" His gaze didn't waver waiting for her answer. A questioning look filled their depths.

"Oh, Cole, I've loved you since the moment you walked into my office," she told him, gently caressing his cheek with her fingertips.

"I must have to, but it didn't register with me until I held you in my arms in California when we were making love. We'll get married right away,” he said huskily. "I can't wait a moment longer to have you all to myself."

"Yes, dear," Gabby uttered, with a smile.
Back was the old confident Cole, arranging things then letting her know what they were.

"Something else has puzzled me for a long time."
Cole gave her a curious look. "The morning I stormed into your office with my temper flaring, all you did was smile. I've never really understood what you had found so amusing at the time."

Gabby couldn't forget that morning in her office.

"When you came charging in so unexpectedly, all I could think of was a movie I'd
seen when I was little about a swashbuckling pirate ready to raid the high seas."

"You've always thought of me as a pirate because of the patch I wore?"
A quizzical look lined his face.

"Yes, you were the most handsome pirate I'd ever seen
. My life wasn’t the same once you gave me one of your dark, brooding looks," she admitted in a loving tone, putting emphasis on the word

.

"I'll try to live up to that if you'll promise to love me always," he said raggedly, reclaiming her lips in a promise of a happy future together.
It was several minutes before he came up for air, but Gabby didn’t mind, loving every second in his arms.
