With no one above him, allow me to thank my father God first and foremost for blessing me with the many talents and gifts and furthermore the ambition to write these novels. Even more, to write them from inside these prison walls where my writing career begin.  This is 2012 and it marks my eleventh year as a writer and yet I still feel as if I just started. This goes to show that it don't matter where you are, whatever you put your mind to and you grind hard enough you'll get it. Another reminder to put God first. To my wife, that sho' nuff special person in my life, Lopedia Hardwick , I can't thank you enough.  Husband and wife, best friends and soulmates. And beyond that, business partners.  Okay you own Write-A-Lot Publishing and I work for you. However, we both know that hard work pays off. To my kids. Tiara, Kyhana, Shalia, Ashley and Phillip. I was gonna leave you out on this Faith but I know you would've took it to the grave. LOL, you know how we roll. To my sister Janet Dority, I'm giving you this special shout out because I haven't wrote you back. Don't think I don't love you though.  The long way. To my family members in Augusta, West Palm, and Atlanta. You're all blessed.

To my editor, Carla Dean, thanks for the work on this one. To my cover designer Davida Baldwin, thank you. Stephanie Williamson at Just Us Bookclub. To George and Shawna at Gstreet Chronicles, I wanna thank the both of you also for the boost. To my fans and readers, thanks for your support because you do know the struggle as well. For Augusta,  my stomping grounds and those that don't know me. I'm from the Cutt, directly across the street from Josey High School, the best high school.  Some people knew me as J-Rocc and some knew me as Jay. Now I'm a man on a mission and who’s striving to achieve greatness. Stay blessed.

I certainly think that it is better to be impetuous than cautious, for fortune is a woman, and it is necessary, if you wish to master her, to conquer her by force; and it can be seen that she lets herself be overcome by the bold rather than by those who proceed coldly. And therefore, like a woman, she is always a friend to the young, because they are less cautious, fiercer, and master her with great audacity.

~Niccolo Machiavelli, 1469-1527
