53) “Thank you, Paelsho.”

54) “God speed!”

CHAO-CHU-SHA-MAEN TRANSLATIONS

55) “Follow me!”

56) “Let him pass.”

57) “Father and mother, our attack on the
cannibals of Cheu-sha failed miserably—they were somehow ready for
us and launched their own surprise attack, while we were camped the
night before! Those not instantly killed or able to escape were
taken prisoner, including myself. Even though I was next on the
list to become sacrificed that very night, this brown-skinned man
who now stands behind me fought valiantly for his escape, but there
were too many of them on him—he took my spot as the next to be
sacrificed. At that moment that he was about to have the ivory tusk
implanted into his chest, and his heart removed, eaten, and tossed
into the fire, our rescuers arrived and saved the day.”

58) “Had it not been for this man who now
stands before me, I would have been sacrificed, and not be alive
now. I shall forever be grateful to this man who is now my
brother...”

59) “Come, come.”

60) “Allow this young man to pass.”

61) “Come, come.”

62) “Stop.”

63) “This man has the heart and strength of a
tiger!”

64) “That tiger desperately needs a bath, as
you do. By the way, I love you, my son.”

65) “Servant girls, we need your
assistance.”

66) “The black tower—that is taboo!
No—no!”

67) “No, no, please don’t draw this picture
again—very bad luck!”

68) “Escort this prince by royal procession
to the black tower.”

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

When the author, J. Eric Booker, is not
creating his literary or musical masterpieces upon “cloud 9,” which
is seldom, he and his business partner run their own mobile
recording studio, called BluColla Inc. Despite the fact that J.
Eric Booker hasn’t attended a single day of college, it is in his
belief that though an education is important, it is not the crux to
writing or music—it is the imagination and the determination.
