Jake got in his jeep and waved at Al
before driving to his house. He needed to change his clothes and grab the realtor list.

After changing in to
business casual clothing, Jake grabbed the list and drove to the first realtor company. It was smaller company and the same one that Jake found his house through. They were very welcoming but after looking at their listings he did not see a property that he would fit his purposes. He did what his uncle had told him and gave the company business card to the realtor that was helping him and invited her to the open house. The realtor was a bit shocked but informed Jake that if anything fitting his needs came on the market she would give him a call.

The next two were considered no goes, as they had bad customer service and lacked
professional behavior which removed them from the running.

The last one on the list was the largest reali
ty company on Topsail; Samson-Adams Reality also happened to be the same company that James worked for. Jake entered the building, noticing how clean and organized everything was. Walking to the front desk he approached the secretary.

y realtors available to help me. I am looking to buy a nice sized property.”

The sec
retary looked up at Jake and smiled, “Yes sir, we currently have James Cocker and Ronnie Samson.

Not wanting to deal with James, Jake responded to the secretary, “I have heard some good things about Ronnie Samson, can I please see him.”

“Let me page him Sir, he will be with you in a few minutes.”

Ronnie Samson came from his
office; introducing himself. He was friendly and well spoken. Jake in return introduced himself.

“Come follow me to my office and I will see how I can help you Mr. Peterson.”

Jake followed Ronnie to his office and sat down in a chair directly in front of Ronnie’s desk.

“So what type of property are you looking for, I will see if I can pull properties that fit your needs.”

Jake proceeded to tell Ronnie what he was looking for, while he was explaining the type of property he was looking for James walked by.

James seeing Jake in his boss’s office couldn’t help but stop and rudely
interrupt them by saying, “Why are you here, you can’t afford any of our houses, best leave now and not waste our time.”

Jake raised his
eyebrows at James but didn’t respond, he didn’t have to as Ronnie responded for him.

“James we haven’t even gone over a price range yet and if you were as good a realtor as you claim to be you would realize that there is s
uch a thing as a VA Home loan. You are an embarrassment to this company and are on thin ice already, keep it up and you will be fired.”

James stormed out of the office pissed, followed by a loud bang as a door slammed further down the hall.

Ronnie looked at Jake and apologized, “I am so sorry Mr. Peterson for his behavior we do not condone judgment in our office the poorest looking person could be worth millions and nobody would ever know. Please let us continue our discussion on your needs.”

Jake thought to himself,
If Peterson Resorts was going to work with this company, James would have to go. They didn’t need someone with James judging ways and beliefs trying to sell their condos.

Ronnie
listened to what Jake wanted and needed for his resort. Ronnie smiled at Jake and said, “I think I have the perfect property, it is priced a little high but I think the seller is flexible on the price. I am afraid it has come to the point where I have to ask about your finances.”

Jake smiled happy with how efficiently Ronnie dealt with James’ behavior
and decided he was going to buy the property and give Ronnie an invite to the open house, on the condition that James has nothing to do with the condos that Peterson Resorts will be selling.

“Mr. Samson, I would officially to introduce my
self, I am Jake Peterson of Peterson Resorts. My uncle and I would love to have you attend our open house for our new condo resort. I also would love to put in a bid for this property on behalf of Peterson Resorts. I do have one condition though; James Cocker will not be allowed to deal with our properties. He is shady. I have had run-ins with him over the past week and his behavior in public is horrible. Not to mention I think you should look into his use of the business account. That is my professional and personal opinion if you choose to look into these things it is up to you.”

“Mr. Peterson it is an honor to con
tinue to work with your company. I will insure that Mr. Cocker will not be dealing with any of Peterson Resort’s properties and I will ask accounting do an audit of his account.”

Jake
and Ronnie finished writing up the bid and shook hand. Thanking him Jake told him to let him know when the bid was accepted and that he would he from the company soon.

Walking out of Ronnie’s office the secretary stopped him.

“Mr. Peterson, did you find a property that you liked.”

“Yes
Rebecca, I did and a bid has been put in. If Mr. Samson needs me for anything please have him call me. Jake handed her his business card. The only people who should call me are Mr. Samson or yourself.”

Yes, Mr. Peterson I understand, I hope you have a wonderful day.”

Jake, walked from the building feeling accomplished
