Priceless

After five centuries, Adrian Klein is used to be the usual suspect, when something goes wrong. He may have many “friends” but none of them trust him. Hell, he can’t exactly blame them, considering the fact that he doesn’t trust himself.

He’s too wild, too bestial to fit amongst the vampires. Too restrained to be liked by shifters. Too powerful to please the witches.

He’s the ultimate weapon, bred and trained for one purpose: winning.

Everyone assumes he’s gay because they’ve never seen him with a female. When he meets Trish Hunter, he remembers he’s anything but.

Trish has spent over a decade blaming vampires for what happened to her father; now she’s had to admit that things aren’t as they seem – some vampires should be trusted; some human should be staked on sight.

That doesn’t mean she’s comfortable with the likes of Adrian Klein. Used to being the most threatening thing in the room, she doesn’t take kindly to the weird-ass creature who definitely take the spotlight.

Vampire, shifter, witch. He’s every monster she’s ever heard of, wrapped in a delicious package.

Good thing he’s gay.

Right?

Excerpt:

“I don’t bite human females. You’re too fragile.”

Trisha stared at him blankly, as though he’d been confusing her by speaking a language she didn’t understand.

Then, she surprised him by stretching her hand to touch his face, aiming for his mouth. Her soft skin was silk against his lips.

“Oh, Adrian.” If her touch hadn’t been enough to make him hard, her suave voice caressing his name would have done the trick. “Your fangs are so cute. Say that again and I’ll wear them as earrings.”

The King needs an heir and that means finding some sort of woman to do the job.

"That's all it's about, ultimately: basic, carnal compatibility in order to satisfy this need. For that reason, the pictures I request of those who wish to apply are explicit. The full prerequisites are attached to the correspondence. If you aren't comfortable with these demands, don't bother applying."

Ella applies, seeing straight through the bullshit; she goes as far as derisively add a set of pictures fitting the requirements the letter demands:

A picture of her "pussy" - a fat, indolent Persian - and of her in her nightwear - yoga pants and a hoodie.

In lieu of an introduction, her message reads:

« Dear Daniel Franko Phillipe Del Luz,

I've applied to guarantee that I'm not summoned to your little orgy.

Fuck you. We aren't all stupid.

Ella. »

It was supposed to go through an automated system;

She didn't expect anyone to read it...

Let alone the King

The Klints, a superior race in every way, long ago decided to abolish natural birthing; over the last millenniums, every child had been engineered, created, designed; but things went wrong, hence their need for human breeders.

Lena's life might have changed since their invasion, but she's not particularly affected by their presence on a daily basis, until the day they find out that she's a hundred percent compatible to the emperor of the entire galaxy.

Her job was simple. She was supposed to give birth to his heir and disappear.

But then, someone threatens that child.
