Thursday (Timeless Series #4) (2 page)

Marie ended our kiss slowly then moved down my body.

My lips immediately felt cold when hers were gone. I wanted to kiss her forever, to fuck her mouth with mine and never stop.

She slid to the edge of the bed then unbuttoned my jeans.

My dick throbbed in my pants, unable to handle the sight in front of me.

Marie pulled my jeans down along with my boxers and got them to my ankles. She flipped her hair over one shoulder, her tits shaking in the process, and then removed my shoes and socks. When my bottoms were gone she sat up and leaned over my crotch, her tits close to my balls.

She grabbed my dick by the base and pointed him toward the sky. She licked her lips slowly as she stared at him, like there was nothing more she wanted than to suck me off.

Holy motherfucker.

Without realizing it, I was breathing hard. My entire body was tense in preparation. I’d gotten head plenty of times but not like this. She did it in such a sexy way.

She kissed my tip softly before she moved him into the back of her mouth. She started off slow, taking him inch by inch. And then she moved quickly, getting into it.

I closed my eyes because it felt so good. The view was just as amazing as the sensation but my body automatically responded to the pleasure she was giving me. I loved feeling her tongue moved over my cock. It was the best feeling ever.

She pulled him out of her mouth and rested him against my stomach. Then she moved for my shirt. Together, we got it off and tossed it aside.

I was high in the clouds and existing on a different plane of reality. My body and mind were combined into a single entity and I no longer thought about my actions before I did them. They just happened.

I rolled her to her back and moved my face between her legs. I never went down on women because I never cared for it, but I desperately wanted to do it to her. I wanted to taste her, feeling the wetness I provoked between her legs.

I rubbed my tongue against her clitoris and felt her tighten in my arms. Her back arched slightly and musical sighs escaped her lips. Her fingers dug into my hair and she panted, enjoying everything I gave her just as I enjoyed everything she gave to me.

She tasted like strawberry and that aroused me even more. My dick was still harder than ever and desperate to be inside her. I wanted to keep eating her out but now I was impatient. I wanted to move with her, to feel our bodies grind together in the throes of passion.

I opened my nightstand and grabbed a condom from the pile and quickly rolled it on. I made sure there was plenty of room at the tip because I knew I was going to make a big deposit.

I positioned myself on top of her and pinned my earns behind her knees. My tip found her entrance and it rested there, partially inside her.

She looked up at me with desire in her eyes. She was in the cloud too, drifting at a heightened level of reality. She was lost in me just the way I was lost in her. Her hands moved up my arms until they cupped my neck. She gently pulled me toward her, wanting me inside her then and there.

I slowly slid inside her, feeling my cock stretch her with every inch. I moved until I was completely inside her.

Marie released a loud moan, her nails digging into my skin. Her head rolled back slightly as if she wasn’t prepared for how good it would feel. “Axel…”

My spine shivered. I thrust into her slowly, wanting to take my time before we reached the finish line. I already knew I was going to make her come. She was delirious in ecstasy just the way I was.

Her nails scratched down my back, leaving marks that would linger for days. She used my body as an anchor to thrust into me from down below. Her tits shook with every thrust I made. Redness had spread across her chest and the area surrounding her nipples. She bit her bottom lip in the cutest way.

“Just like that.” She pressed her head to mine and breathed hard with me, feeling every sensation burn our bodies from the inside out. “God, yes. Just like that.”

Goddammit, she was going to make me explode. I increased my pace slightly, pounding into her to give her the best climax she ever had.

“Yes.” Her head rolled back and she arched her back. “Yes, yes, yes.” Her nails almost drew blood they were cutting into me so deeply.

I wanted to keep going but I couldn’t after that performance. My entire body burned white-hot before the explosion happened. My cock twitched just before it released, filling the tip of the condom.

We went to another world together, using each other to get the biggest high we’ve ever felt. My body was covered in sweat and so was hers, but the pleasure made all the work worth it.

I stayed inside her and never wanted to leave. That was the best sex I’ve ever had and I hoped she felt the same way. It was so organic and easy. The chemistry was right and we fell deep into each other. It was the way sex was meant to be.

I cupped her face and gave her a slow kiss, satisfied but innately aroused.

She kissed me back, sweat on her upper lip.

“That was so good.”

“I know.” A sleepy haze came over her eyes, like she was drifting off to sleep after that intense orgasm.

I rolled over and disposed of the condom before I came back to her. I pulled the sheets back and tucked us in before I spooned her from behind. I was covered in sweat and so was she but I didn’t mind. Unlike most of my dates, I actually wanted to hold her.

I liked it.

Hit and Run

Marie

When I woke up the next morning I was in Axel’s arms. Just as the sunlight filtered through the blinds of his window, the memory of what happened last night came back to me.

Axel was my biggest crush in high school. I’d always pictured us getting married and living happily ever after, but I knew he didn’t notice me. I was just his sister’s ugly friend. He didn’t think twice about me before he chased after a cheerleader.

But now I finally had him.

He was great in bed, like I expected. He was a fantastic kisser. I could kiss those sexy lips all day. And he was even a good cuddler.

It was definitely a good time.

But now I had to get back to reality. I had class in an hour and I needed to hit the road. I slipped from his arms and quickly dressed myself before I called an UBER. I got a ride back to my house and hoped Francesca was either still asleep or never came home the night before. Otherwise, it would be a really awkward conversation.

I hadn’t had a good lay in a while and Axel fit the bill. I understood last night was just a friendly screw and would never happen again. Since Axel wasn’t the kind of guy I was looking for it was fine by me. My happily ever after was out there and he certainly wasn’t it.

When I got home I unlocked the door as quietly as possible then crept inside. But I stopped dead in my tracks when the distinct smell of breakfast entered my nose. “Goddammit.”

“Marie, is that you?” Frankie called from the kitchen.

Why did she have to be awake at the crack of dawn? “Yeah. You’re awake early.” I came around the corner and hoped she wouldn’t notice my wrinkled clothes and messy hair.

Frankie turned away from the stove and looked at me. “Yeah, I—” She shut her mouth when she realized I was right in the middle of a walk of shame. “Someone had fun last night…”

I tossed my purse on the table. “It wasn’t a big deal.”

Frankie scooped the pancakes onto a plate and set it at the table for me. “Spill.”

“There’s nothing to talk about.” I wasn’t going to talk about screwing her brother. That was the weirdest thing ever.

Frankie set her own plate down. “Since when did you stop telling me about your conquests?” She poured herself a cup of coffee and sat down. “Even when I don’t want to hear about it you still gush about all the details.”

I sat in the chair and drenched my pancakes with syrup. “Just trust me on this. You don’t want to know.” I gave her a firm look. “No questions asked.”

Frankie stared at me as she cut into her pancakes. Her mind was working behind her eyes, trying to figure out why I would say such a thing. She took a few bites before she connected the dots. “Ew.”

“Told you.”

“Axel? Seriously?” She was thoroughly repulsed. “I thought you were over him.”

“I was over him. But then he came by and said pretty things…”

She shook her head and kept eating. “Gross.”

“It was a one-time thing so let’s just move on.”

“Thank god.” She sipped her coffee and looked out the window. “Do you feel different now?”

“What do you mean?”

“I know you were really into him when we were younger. Like, obsessed. Was it what you pictured?”

It was hard to answer that question without going into detail. “I guess it was nice to have something I’ve always wanted. But it wasn’t the magical experience I pictured. The only reason why he noticed me was because I toned up, learned how to use make up, and starting wearing nice clothes. His attraction to me is totally superficial. If you ask me, he still doesn’t really notice me. Does that make sense?”

Frankie abandoned her half eaten pancakes and considered my question. “I think I do. You have to be spiritually connected to someone to have a true relationship. It can’t all be physical…” Her eyes drifted away like she was thinking of someone else.

“Hawke?” I smiled because my friend’s happiness was infectious.

She didn’t deny it. “A physical attraction is important but it’s definitely not everything. Whatever connection we have…is beyond physical appearance. I think it’s important when it comes to love.”

“I think I know what you mean.”

“If it was so meaningless why did you do it?”

She was naïve sometimes. “Your brother is hot. And I haven’t had a good lay in a while.”

She cringed and tried not to spit out her food. “I’m just glad this was a one-time thing. Will it be weird between you two?”

“No, not at all,” I said. “Besides, we never see each other anyway.”

Frankie finished the last of her pancakes. “Thank god for that.”

Within a week I stopped thinking about Axel entirely. The night was fun and the sex was awesome but it was quickly forgotten. I didn’t call him and he didn’t call me, which was fine because it was clear we both understood what that night was.

I focused on school and worked on a term paper I’d been dreading. I spent most of the week locked up at home with my laptop. When I was finally finished with it, Mike asked me out on a date. We went out and had a good time, but it didn’t lead anywhere. He wasn’t my type and I didn’t want to lead him on so I said goodnight at the door.

I was home with Francesca when the doorbell rang three times in a row.

Francesca looked up from her textbook. “Expecting anyone?”

“No. Is it Hawke?”

“No. He doesn’t ring the doorbell like that.” She stood up and headed to the door. “Actually, he hardly even knocks.” She opened the door to reveal Axel on the other side.

And he didn’t look happy. “Do you have any idea what you’re doing?”

Frankie gave him a bored look. “Do you?” She walked back to the table and sat beside me, returning her focus to the textbook.

Axel followed her, his chest puffed up like he had something to say. “You really think being with Hawke is a good idea?”

It was only a matter of time before he figured it out. I wanted to excuse myself from the table but I was right next to them. Not moving or speaking was probably less distracting than if I left the room.

“Stay out of my business, Axel.” Frankie turned the page.

“I can’t stay out of your business,” Axel snapped. “Hawke is the biggest womanizer I know. I’m not letting you get dragged through the mud like that.”

“He’s not like that with me,” she argued. “Axel, we have a relationship, not a meaningless fling.”

“He’s still not good enough for you.”

I admired Axel for looking after his sister, but I wish he would understand she was capable of taking care of herself.

“Axel, just butt out,” Frankie snapped. “Hawke and I come as a set. You just need to accept that.”

Axel didn’t seem to realize I was there until that moment. He looked at me and held my gaze for a few seconds before he looked at his sister again. “It’s my job to look after you—”

She threw her banana at him. “Get over yourself, Axel.”

The banana fell on the ground with a loud thud.

I covered my mouth and tried not to laugh.

Axel kept a stoic expression on his face but it seemed like he was about to snap. “Fine. Be a brat.” He walked out and slammed the door behind him.

“Wow…talk about an overprotective brother,” I said with a laugh.

Frankie rolled her eyes. “He needs to grow up.”

A second later the door opened again. “Hi, Marie.” He walked out again, slamming the door a second time.

I laughed after he was gone. “Well, at least he’s polite.”

“I love my brother and everything, but damn, I hate him.”
