Acknowledgements

First of all, I would like to thank God for all of the blessings. This journey has been more than what I could’ve ever imagined. Three books in one year…wow! I couldn’t have done it without my family, friends, and readers. Without your support this wouldn’t have been possible. Kami and Mateo, Mommy loves you so much. I work hard every day for you both. You give me purpose in this world and I’m always a mother first. Love you Doodie and Jordan. Rodney, what a year!! It’s been crazy, but God is good. To my mother, Lita Gray, I love you dearly. To my sister, Mia, this year defined the true meaning of sisterhood. Jawaun and Cornell, you da best! Daddy, I love you and I don’t mind having some of my Daddy’s ways, it’s made me the no-nonsense woman I am today. Sydni, Javone, EB and Brent, love you guys. Toya, Pam (Gill), Poo, Latrease, Letitia, Sam, Indiah, Shana, Donovan, Frank, Whitey, Detrick, Rob, and Jermaine, thanks for being my friends to the end.

To Leslie Allen and Tressa aka-Azarel, I love you guys! Thanks for pushing me and making this dream possible. To my test readers and LCB family…we da best!

There are many loved ones who have passed on that I wish were here to witness my dreams come true, so I would like to thank them for touching my life. Aunt Shirley, I feel like you helped me find the creative girl inside of me. You always believed in me and I miss you so much. Big Ma, I lost you, the only grandmother I’ve ever known while writing this book and I want you to know that I will love you forever. Nicky “Coach Lynch”, my cousin, you have touched so many people’s lives and have definitely left your mark on the world. I miss you and wish that you were still here.

Many thanks again to everyone that I thanked in Part 1 and Part 2…This one is for the readers and bookstores (The Literary Joint, Urban Knowledge, Black and Nobel, Borders, Barnes and Noble) and anyone else that have supported me through this journey. AAMBC thanks for awarding me with Urban Book of the Year. I have posted a handful of reviews from Amazon.com to show love to the fans! If I could fit all of your comments I would!

(Washington DC) Within the first 10 pages the reader was drawn into the arising drama. This book was definitely was a page turner. After reading the coldest winter ever, I searched the Urban book shelf for a book that was similar, but to no avail, until The Dirty Divorce landed on my Kindle. Looking forward in reading the continuation "The Dirty Divorce 2"

If you like sex, drugs, drama and violence, this book is for you. I could not put it down. I can't wait for part 2. Miss KP did the damn thing on this one, it was sooo good.

(Charlotte, NC) - All I can say is...there are very few books that I feel the need to review but THIS BOOK was crazy!! I never even heard of this author but I am so glad I stumbled across this book...and thanks to the reviews I decided to give it a shot...It's been a long time since an author was able to grab my attention from the very beginning and hold my attention to the very ending leaving my mouth wide open and devastated that I have to wait until part two!! I can't see anyone that would be disappointed with this read. It was definitely a different kind of street novel. Loved it!!!!! You go girlllllll.

Once I got started reading this book I could not put it down. This story has to be true....there is no way someone can put this down on paper as a fiction story. The last 10 minutes of the read had me hanging off the edge of my chair. After the tour de france I was left hanging...WHAT..cliff hanger! OMG...I can not wait for part 2!

(Maryland) - We finally have what we all have been waiting for and boy did Miss KP achieve what most authors dream of, A SMASHING PART 2 that will make you forget about all of the drama in part 1.

DJ(New Jersey)
, December 13, 2010- First of all I had so much trouble finding this book after complaining so much my cousin drove a hour away to a urban book store and got it, lets just say I owe him. I usually hate sequels because it's hard for me to remember what happen in the first one. This story just flowed and continued very easily. I loved all the twist and turns if you loved the first one you will love this one just as much.

- I must say, I am blown away by Ms. KP. I was browsing through amazon for new authors with series, I came across Ms. KP. Since The Dirty Divorce 1 & 2 had 5 stars I decided to give it a try...and I'll be damned. I read both books in a matter of 48 hours flat, really no lie. Ms KP is definitely added to my favorite authors list. KP is just fabulous. I'm getting on her facebook train tonight, and becoming a KP groupie. lol. Can't wait till May, for part 3.....please put it on kindle first.

As you can see, I’m overwhelmed by all the positive responses. I know Part 3 wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for the fans, so once again, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Keep your reviews coming, I learn from you all.

Chapter 1
Rich

This shit felt too perfect. Just like I wanted, the car was parked in a secluded spot, away from anyone else. The red eye comin’ back from Vegas to Dulles Airport was just what I needed to make this happen. It was time to get paid. Besides, that bitch owed me big, so I needed to collect what was mine.

My rental car was parked outside the garage so I could easily roll out undetected. As I hid between her black Porshe Cayenne and the wall, I watched her strut toward the truck wit’ dark sunglasses and five-inch heels lookin’ like one of them Kardashian bitches.

Damn, does she have to look that good at five a.m. when I’m about to jack her for her bread
, I thought.

The closer she got, I kept my eye on her monogrammed Louis Vuitton carry-on luggage. Gettin’ in position wit’ my black ski mask and Issey Miyake oil that I’d bought from a Muslim stand just to throw her off, it was time to make my move. I knew she wasn’t totein’ since she’d just gotten off the plane, so this shit was gonna be like takin’ candy from a helpless child. Wit’ my Desert Eagle in hand, I was ready to get back on top. Walkin’ up behind her, I placed the gun directly on her spine.

“Get de fuck on de ground bitch!” I yelled in my fake Jamaican accent. I’d been workin’ on the disguise for a while now.

Seconds later, I hit her wit’ the butt of my gun, landin’ the blow on her shoulder. Never was I a stick-up kid or some type of dude that came up off robbin’ niggas, but I was desperate for cash and this was the come up I needed to get back on my feet. She instantly fell to the ground.

“You bitch-ass niggas always gotta go after a female. You ain’t a real nigga!” she yelled.
