"You need to get laid."

Blushing hard, I sat back in my chair and regarded my best friend as she idly sipped her mimosa. It was a bright May morning, and we were sitting at our favorite sidewalk cafe for our weekly brunch.

Jill set down her glass and exhaled dreamily. "A good, cleansing fuck, just to clear out the cobwebs...."

"Jillian Rene!" I gasped, looking around aghast and wondering if anyone overheard.

"Oh honestly, Nicole, stop being such a ninny. That's your problem, you know, you're too damn tentative. You want a boyfriend? Go out and find one."

I scowled darkly at her before viciously stabbing a forkful of Eggs Benedict. "Easier said than done, bitch. What do you think, boyfriends just grow on trees? Like I can just go up and pluck one off the branch and say, "hey! fuck me!"

"More or less, yeah!" Jill said enthusiastically. "I'm telling you, since I started with that website, I've been drowning in cock." Her eyes got all dreamy again and I chucked a strawberry at her. "No seriously," she laughed, ducking away from my airborne fruit, "the men on this site...they're...different." She sighed again and crossed and recrossed her legs.

"Different, how?" I hated to admit it, but she had me interested. It had been so long since I had been fucked, kissed, even
touched
by a man. With my curvy body and shy, blushing nature, I already had the deck stacked against me. Couple that with a bad breakup of a few years ago that I was still not quite over, and I was looking at a dry spell that was extending into its second year.

"Different," Jill asserted, glugging back a huge gulp of her mimosa. I didn't know what was making her cheeks flush like that, the alcohol or the memories. "For one thing, they know how to treat a lady."

"Admirable."

"Hush, child, mama's talking," she grinned. "For another thing, they don't fear the curves."

I looked down at my generous breasts and soft tummy. "Well that's good to hear."

"And for the best thing...they are all
animals
in the sack."

I felt my own legs cross, my thighs clenching together to try to suppress the urgent need that flared to life at her words. Jill saw me squirming and nodded her head sagely. "Shifty Singles dot com, Nicole. Get your nicely rounded ass logged on there tonight and report back in the morning."

*****

That night I poured myself a generous glass of wine and grabbed my laptop. Curling up on my couch, I typed the address into the search bar.

The flood of pictures that covered my screen had me drooling in a second. I looked closer, my mouth agape. Surely these men weren't actually single? How could guys that looked...well...like
that,
have to resort to online dating?

I clicked through a few pictures randomly. This had to be a scam. There was no way. But then again, would my best friend really steer me wrong? And Jill certainly seemed like a satisfied customer.

I navigated over to the "set-up profile screen." The questions started out generically at first. How old I was, where I lived, my hobbies, whether I was looking for casual dating or a real relationship. I kept everything deliberately open, for now, gleefully clicking all of the boxes as I sipped my wine. Sure I'm up for something casual, sure I was interested in dating more than one guy at once...whee...no problem!

I felt deliriously high as I clicked through the screens, my responses getting more and more expansive. Sure I was open minded about alternative lifestyles, no it didn't bother me to try something new in bed. Why not, this was just fantasy, right? Guys like this, they didn't exist in real life.

The last part of the profile asked me to upload a picture and that's where I hesitated. I looked down at my flannel PJs, all pink and printed with fluffy clouds. My hair was a tangled mess and I wasn't wearing a scrap of makeup.

"Fuck it," I said out loud, and turned on my webcam.

I posed for a few blurry pictures, pouting in a few, smiling in a couple more. I picked the one that flattered my round face and chubby cheeks the most and hit upload.

"There," I said out loud. "Now Jill can't yell at me."

I set my laptop down and went to pour more wine. When I returned to the couch, I nearly choked to see that my message box was already blinking wildly.

My hand trembled as I clicked the inbox and my eyes widened as I saw the flood of messages that poured across my screen. I chose one at random.

"Dear Nicolette, I have been looking for a woman like you for a long while. We share the same interests and the same love of a good time. I would be honored to spend some time with you - Call"

The picture that accompanied the message was of a sandy haired, model gorgeous man posed against a canyon wall. His tawny gold skin set off eyes that were so blue they seemed unnatural.

My heart flip-flopped, skipping a beat.

Hesitating, I picked another message.

"Nicole, I swear to god, I will do things to that luscious body that you can only dream. Let's make dreams a reality. I am yours for whatever you want - Jor."

My core clutched at itself to read his lascivious message. And when I saw the face that was attached to those dirty thoughts, I couldn't help but moan out loud. Dark and brooding, with full lips twisted into a cocky grin, he looked every inch the man who would make such dirty promises.

Each message was more enticing than the last, with every message promising me that they would make my wildest fantasies come true. How in the world was I supposed to pick just one?

I took another healthy sip of wine. I was nearing the end of the bottle and with that, the end of my courage. Feeling emboldened by the promises, I typed out the following message and copy-pasted it into Jor and Call's inboxes.

"I'm having a hard time deciding between two dates. I'd love to meet both of you, if you don't mind."

Instantly my inbox blinked again.

Call: "Not a problem."

Jor: "Name a place."

I flushed and leaned back on the couch, feeling dizzy. They wouldn't mind having to share? Who
were
these men?

The next morning found me nursing a headache and being screamed at through the phone "You actually did it!" Jill screeched so loudly I had to set the phone down. "I am so proud of you. Details, Nicolette, I want all the details the minute you have them."

"Mmmhmm," I grumbled. Last night's indulgence was becoming this morning's annoyance. "Let me let you go, I have to figure out my clothing situation"

Jill was still cackling when I stabbed the off button and threw my phone on the bed. Woozily, I steadied myself on the headboard and turned, squinting ferociously at my closet. While I loved clothes, they tended not to love me or my curves.

Shoving armfuls of rejects aside, I waded into the mass of fabric, hoping against hope that inspiration would strike the way it had when I told Call and Jor I wanted to meet them both. And then suddenly, it did.

In the back of my closet I spied an old sundress I had forgotten I bought. The tags were still on it, and I recognized the logo of my favorite website to drunkenly overspend on. "Score one for bad decisions," I muttered, and pulled it over my head.

The full skirt swished out over my hips, and the tight waistline nipped me in with a slim red belt. The black and white floral fabric was fun and flirty, but serious enough to go into evening if need be. But the best part was the deep, halter V-neck that plunged down, giving a generous eyeful of my overflowing cleavage. I looked into the mirror and smiled, my headache dissipating as I turned from side to side, blowing myself kisses. Fuck shyness, fuck being a prude, I had two gorgeous men meeting me in an hour and I was going to have some fun!

The cafe we had decided on was only two blocks from my house, but the walk there felt like an eternity. My momentary boldness in front of the mirror started to fracture, cracks in the facade of friendly flirtatiousness I was hoping to fake. What if they weren't coming? What if this was all a setup, a hidden camera joke? What if they were just actors, hired by the website to steal my credit card information?

A tornado of doubts swirled in my brain, so intense that I barely noticed I was walking until I was there. The corner cafe was a cozy little place, but still well lit and public. Perfect for meeting new people.

I reached out and grasped the door handle. "Okay, Nicolette Jean," I whispered to myself, straightening my shoulders. "It's go time."

All at once the door flew outward, nearly knocking me back on my heels. "Shit!" I cried as I lost my balance and fell backwards.

I never hit the ground. Instead I felt myself caught up in a pair of strong, warm arms, rock solid. Looking up in wonder, I saw the face of Jor looming above me, concern written across his face.

"Nicole! Oh my god, I am so sorry," he babbled, his honeyed voice rumbling through me as he righted us both. "I saw you coming and wanted to get the door for you. I am so sorry that I startled you."

I stammered as he steadied me, his hands warm and gentle on the bare skin of my arms. He looked even better in person, his face alive with mischief and passion as he looked me over hungrily. There was no denying the way his eyes raked over my skin and he definitely did not need to still be holding me as tightly as he was.

Not that I minded.

We were locked in a sexy staring contest when another figure unfurled himself from the tiny cafe table. "Are you okay, Nicole?" rumbled the deep, bass voice that could only belong to Call.

I didn't even need to look at him to know that he was better in person than he was as pixels on a screen. And I had definitely enjoyed him as pixels on a screen.

"I'm okay," I squeaked, still feeling the effects of Jor's touch on my skin. My mouth was dry and my hands were shaking with something other than nerves. Call it tension...of a sexual kind.

"I took the liberty of ordering for you so you wouldn't have to wait," Call rumbled at me, sweeping me into a chair and setting a mug of frothiness in front of me. "Does a caramel macchiato sound okay?"

I blinked at him in amazement. "That's my favorite," I sighed, cupping my hands around the steaming mug.

He smiled and twirled the chair around so that he was straddling it. My eyes went to that bulge between his legs like they were stuck in a tractor beam. Realizing what I had just done, I blushed and wrenched them back up to his face, only to see that he was grinning at me in a half-cocked smile of ridiculous sexiness.

"I had a feeling it might be," he smiled.

"How so?"

"You just seemed like a caramel macchiato girl," he murmured, delicately tucking a wayward strand of hair behind my ear.

His touch electrified my skin so that I shivered. Jor jumped up. "Are you cold?" he asked, swinging his leather jacket off of his shoulders.

Before I could demure, he had settled the worn, buttery soft jacket over my bare shoulders. I was hit with the scent that rose off of it in waves, the rich scent of sandalwood mixed with the sharp scent of pine. It smelled like the woods and I found myself inhaling so deeply that I was giving myself a head-rush. Or maybe it was their proximity to me that was making me feel like a Victorian woman with a case of the vapors. Both men were watching me so intently, like my every move was a piece of artistry they meant to memorize. I had barely said three words to either of them, and yet I somehow got the feeling that I could trust them with everything. Like they wanted what was best for me…
