on were building their own house on the land they’d been given as a wedding gift, close to the ranch. Gordon and Marie had been given the same choice but they had opted to live in the main house with Mom and Dad. Neither of them wanted Rachel and Luke to be alone and there was plenty of room for everyone.
Once they were seated at the table, Dad
would ask him to say Grace and Gordon would thank God for his family and the circle of Faith, Hope and Love their parents had wrapped them in. In his darkest hours on his missions, thoughts of them and Marie had sustained him.
Gordon
bent and kissed Marie’s brow as she looked up at him. He saw the worry piercing her gaze as she wondered if the darkness of war memories that he fought so hard to keep at bay every day was claiming him for a moment.
His smile reassured her.
“Our baby is lucky to be coming into such an amazing family.”
“Yes,”
Marie threaded her hand through his arm, tuning into his thoughts as she always did. “Faith, Hope and Love a wonderful legacy to pass on.”

About the Author
Geeta Kakade was born in India where she attended British schools and colleges.
An Army brat she has nomadic dust on her feet and loves to travel. The loneliness of the many moves as a child was dispelled by one constant; books. She has worn many hats, teacher, wife, mother, aunt, friend, reader, writer, volunteer. One of her favorites now is grandmother.
She came to America when she married her husband, raised her family and learned to bake bread. She's lived in Michigan and California and has written seriously for the last 34 years. Her first writing break came when she was discovered in RWA's national writing competition by a very intelligent editor. Geeta’s Homespun series was previously published in print by Silhouette Her first six books have been translated into Italian, French, Japanese, German, Spanish and Hungarian and she has been on the Waldenbooks and BDalton bestseller lists.
