“Please,” she gasped.

He seemed to know exactly what she needed. He shifted his weight slightly, as if preparing, positioning himself for just the right angle, then sucked and nibbled on her clit while sliding a finger into her at the same time. When she moaned with delight, he plunged in another finger. He moved them in and out, exploring, tickling, tantalizing, and mercilessly driving her toward a building climax. Her breath quickened and her heart pounded so hard it felt like it would explode right out of her chest. But she wanted more. More of this man, more of his scent, more of his taste.

“Wait,” she begged. “Please wait.”

He looked up at her with concern. “Are you okay? Am I hurting you?”

“No. I just…I don’t want to come yet. Not without tasting you, too.”

“Not going to say no to that.” He chuckled softly.

“Does that mean I still have one more wish left in reserve?”

“You have as many wishes as it’ll take to leave you completely satisfied, Jill.”

“Good,” she purred. “Because that’s going to take a whole lot of effort on both our parts. Starting with…” She sat up and reached for the top of his shorts. He stood, allowing her to pull them down, the evidence of his desire now throbbing only inches from her face. She ran her hands across his washboard abs again, then let them slide down to wrap around his thick cock. He sucked in a deep breath as she stroked him gently.

She slithered off the bed onto her knees and caressed the inner part of his thighs as she looked up at him.

“Mmm, I like that,” he said. “Keep looking at me.” He played with her hair, while she slid her fingers along the shaft of his cock and then to the sensitive flesh behind his balls. As her hands explored, she took his rock hard erection into her mouth. His whole body trembled slightly. He moaned.

Jill shifted so the head of his cock could penetrate all the way back into her throat. Then she let him slide out, running the tip of her tongue along the underside of his shaft and swirling the head with her lips before allowing him to plunge back deep into her mouth. She did this over and over, each time changing the angle of her head or the position of her tongue, as he grunted and groaned and moved his hips. God, she loved this, and from the look on his face, so did he.

Every so often, she would draw away from the base of his cock, feeling every inch of him, sucking hard and slow, then soft and fast. He watched her, mesmerized by what she was doing, delight all over his face, driving her passion. She slid her hands up the back of his legs and rested them on his ass, squeezing and kneading as she licked and sucked and listened to him moan.

His breaths came in short gasps, and she felt his cock, slick with her saliva, beginning to grow and harden even more. She flicked her tongue underneath the shaft of his cock as she grabbed his hips and pulled him deep into her throat.

“Stop,” he gasped. “This feels amazing, but I want to come in your pussy.”

She held him firmly in place for a moment before reluctantly allowing him to slide out from between her swollen lips. He lifted her effortlessly underneath her arms and positioned her up on the bed so that her head was on a pillow.

The AC blowing in the room felt good against her body, given she was on fire. He lowered himself onto her, and she wrapped her legs around his hips, holding onto his strong shoulders, tracing his muscles and curves. His hands caressed her waist then slid underneath her to grope and fondle her ass.

“Fuck me, Cole.”

He nodded. “Yes, ma’am.”

He rested the head of his cock against her opening, teasing her, almost driving her to beg before he magically produced a condom she hadn’t even seen him open, and slid it over his hard cock. Oh, he was a masterful lover. He let just a fraction of himself slip inside of her, and she squeezed her muscles tightly, trying to pull him in further. He slid in deeper, and even as she felt herself stretching to accommodate him, she marveled at how perfectly he felt. He was everything she needed.

The heat of his body pressed against her breasts, which were still raw from his teeth and lips. He thrust his full length inside her and immediately began a steady, pounding rhythm. The base of his cock slid against her swollen clit as his thrusts became harder and more urgent. Her nails dug into his back, and he reciprocated by biting her shoulder, which made her convulse with pleasure.

She felt her legs tense first, then the muscles of her core clenched hard around his cock. Her chest heaved. Her nipples stood fully erect as he drilled her.

“How’s this for fucking you?” he asked.

“Perfect. Don’t stop.”

He pushed in and pulled out, over and over, harder and faster, using his knee to push her legs farther apart. She slid her legs higher up on his back so he could penetrate her deeper.

She watched his face carefully as the tension inside her body mounted and she sat poised on the brink of orgasm. She held off for a moment, taking in the intensity of his expression, luxuriating in the feral heat coming from his eyes. He had the look of a man who knew how powerful and sexy a woman could be. He was a man who could appreciate when that woman lost control and surrendered her body to his safekeeping and talents.

She drank in the rapture on his face, and her body began to burn and shake with an internal explosion. She felt the wave rising and building in her core and let out a sound that combined a moan and a scream. He continued fucking her, riding her through her release then gradually slowing his thrusts until he was barely moving. Finally, he stilled completely, brushed her hair back and kissed her tenderly, giving her time to enjoy the aftermath of her pleasure. Her breathing and heartbeat calmed, and when she opened her eyes, he was staring at her, his expression pleased and hungry.

“Finish, Cole,” she pleaded. “I want to see you come.”

With a growl, he kissed her once more then took hold of her ankles and placed them on his shoulders. He started moving again. Slowly. Then faster. Harder. He watched her face throughout it all, and she found that sexier than anything else he’d done.

Finally, with a loud grunt, he exploded, collapsing on top of her with their limbs tangled, shaking as they tried to suck in enough air to fill their lungs.

Time passed, and Jill once again grew aware of the whisper of AC dusting over her skin. The sound of Cole’s harsh breath in her ear. The pounding of his heart echoing against her own.

Once he regained control of his body, he slid his weight off of her and buried his face in her tousled hair. “Wow.”

“Yeah.” She sighed, basking in the sudden stillness of the room.

Jill tried to make sense of what just happened. She’d dated men for months who’d failed to make her feel even a fraction of what Cole just had. He’d brought her to orgasm, sure, but in a way that surpassed anything she’d ever experienced. How had that happened? Was it simply her mind and body’s response to the naughtiness of sleeping with a stranger? It had to be, right? There couldn’t be any other reason for her body’s intense reaction.

She mentally giggled—she couldn’t downplay the fact that he was a magnificent lover. Skilled, full of technique, and incredibly hot with his bad boy biker tattoos.

In the midst of her thoughts, she felt him push himself up, searching for her lips. She met his mouth with hers and gave into a long, deep, sweet kiss.

They lay together silently, just reveling in the aftershocks of pleasure that still coursed through their bodies. At last, listening to the slow rhythm of his breathing, Jill felt herself growing sleepy. She had to go. She didn’t want to, but she had to. They’d agreed to one time together. That didn’t include sleeping over. She maneuvered her body to the edge of the bed, feeling the now damp comforter peel away from her back as she lifted herself from its grip.

He watched as she slipped on her panties and gathered up the rest of her clothes strewn about the room in their haste. When she was completely dressed, he said, “That was amazing. Thank you.”

She smiled. “I’d say let’s do this another time, but…”

He frowned. “Darlin’—”

Jill
,” she said.

He cocked a brow. “I remember.”

She felt her cheeks go hot. “Sorry. It’s just, I get the feeling you call other women that, and I don’t want to be lumped in with them.”

“There’s no chance of that happening,” he said quietly.

Well at least he didn’t deny it, Jill thought wryly. “Good. Because this was beautiful. I don’t regret a thing, Cole.” Kneeling against the bed, she brought her lips to his. “Please don’t get up. I’m going to take a cab to my car.”

“That’s ridiculous. Let me take you—”

“Nope. I’m good, honest. This is what I want. Take care of yourself, Cole.”

Cole cupped her cheek, registered the determined look in her eyes, then reluctantly gave in. “Fine. But I’m walking you out and waiting with you until you get in the cab.”

“Cole—”

He pulled her back down for another kiss that quickly escalated into more. Knowing the longer she delayed leaving, the harder it was going to be for her to leave at all, she finally pulled back and sighed. “Walk me out.”

He grinned. “After one more kiss.”

Chapter Four

It had been several months since Cole slept through the night, but after being with Jill, he fell into a deep sleep, not waking until the sun poked through the hotel curtains and tickled his face. He awoke feeling rested.

He awoke thinking of Jill.

Not just the intense, mind-blowing sex, her sweet mouth, or her hot body, but the look on her face when she’d pulled off his motorcycle helmet, gleeful from the ride. She’d spread her wings and flown despite her fears, and the exhilaration she’d experienced had somehow transferred to him, making him feel more alive than he had in a long time. That joy for life only intensified when they were in bed.

Maybe it was because she’d left him feeling so damned good, or because he was simply inspired by her own boldness, but being with Jill last night helped Cole start his day with renewed determination. Today, he would deal with his mom’s things.

More than once as he showered and got ready, he found himself missing Jill. Wishing she was still there. Even though he’d made it clear they’d only be together one night, he hadn’t come close to getting his fill of her. And not just her body. They hadn’t had a chance to talk nearly enough. He wanted to know more about her, who she was, how much further she’d walk on the wild side if given the chance.

He could always call and ask to see her again.

But then he remembered…

He hadn’t gotten her number. Wanting to kick his own ass, he growled and left for home. There, in the half-empty apartment, he packed enough stuff to stay at his mom’s for a few days. If he left before the job was done, it might be another three months before he talked himself into going back again. The housecleaner’s husband had left cardboard boxes in the garage for him, so he just needed to get in, pack, and get out.

Unfortunately, his determination to get the job done waned as he rode back to his mother’s house. By the time he got there, he’d almost changed his mind. Getting rid of her things would mean getting rid of her.
No, it wouldn’t Cole
, he told himself. His mother’s memory was in his heart, not in her belongings.

Once again, he sat on his bike across the street, staring at the house that had been his mother’s home all his life. He had grown up, screwed up, and shaped up within its walls, and his mother had been his rock the entire time. Everything about that house reminded him she was gone. The longer he stared the deeper the hole in his heart grew. While sitting there, gathering the strength to ride his bike along the side driveway and park it in the rear garage that currently housed his mom’s little hatchback, he saw a dark head poke around the corner from the back of the house.

“What the hell?” Was someone casing the place? He turned off the engine, swung off the bike, and charged across the street. He could see the body that belonged to the head now. It was just a little boy, a tiny one at that. He couldn’t have been more than four or five years old. Why the hell was some kid in his mother’s yard?

Cole glanced over at his mom’s rental house next door. A teenaged girl with a blond ponytail sat in the driveway, which was bordered by a gate and white picket fence. She was surrounded by five toddlers of mixed nationalities. It looked like they were drawing on the sidewalk with an array of colored chalk. Obviously the teen wasn’t the woman his mother had told him about. Her daughter, maybe? A babysitter? Since it was Sunday, it couldn’t be a daycare? Or did daycares open on the weekend these days?

Last night, Jill said she ran a daycare. Adventurous Jill with hair like dark brown mink and beautiful green eyes. Jill, who’d spread herself for him to enjoy and who’d taken him deep into her mouth and body. Jill, who’d put a smile on his face. Multiple times.

Damn it, Cole. Stop thinking about her.
What’s done is done. They’d agreed to one night, and he needed focus on the here and now. The kid in his backyard had obviously strayed off from the group next door. Cole walked along the side of the house and waited for the boy to peek around the corner again.

After a moment or two, the boy’s face popped around the side of the house.

“You’re trespassing on private property,” Cole said, his voice sterner than he’d meant it to be.

The little boy froze and stared up at Cole, unsure if he should surrender or run.

“Stanley Baker! Where are you? Come back here, please!” The voice, tinged with mild panic, obviously belonged to the teen girl watching the kids next door.

Stanley Baker ran off, giving Cole a wide, mischievous grin, as though saying,
You can’t catch me!

Cole smiled in spite of himself. He kept an eye on Stanley until he rejoined the group next door. Only then did Cole head back to his bike and drive it to the rear of the house, to his mom’s garage. The garage door opener was in his bag, but he decided to just keep his bike parked outside for now. He grabbed his duffel, slung it over his shoulder, and unlocked the front door. After taking a deep breath, he stepped into his past.
