Adam’s hand lightly rested on her shoulder, his wings wrapped her up from behind warming her instantly. “How are you, m’lady?”

“I am sad to see everyone go, but at least I have Harai and the others…”

“I can’t say I blame them, this really is a pretty planet.”

“More so than Earth?” She turned to face him, smiling at his purple hued eyes.

“Eh, well it’s different. But you’re here and that makes it much more beautiful.”

She smiled and kissed his jaw. “Will you miss traveling among the stars, my love?”

“Oh, we’ll still travel, Tiva. I promised to take you back to Earth, remember?”

“Of course, Adam, but it will be different.”
“That’s okay, I like different. I married you didn’t I?” He smirked and kissed the bridge of her nose.

“Yes, you did,” she closed her eyes and rested against his chest. “Besides, now that we are once again a peaceful world, and protected with the help of the Union, I have time to show you all the wonders of my home.”

“That’s true.” He smiled and hugged her tight. “And I have a feeling that this is just the beginning of our adventures together.”

Tiva chuckled and brushed a tear from her cheek. “Being with you has been the greatest adventure of my life, my love; I can only imagine what is to come.”
