Guns n' Boys Book 1 Part 1 (7 page)

Domenico’s eyes snapped
right back to him. “Since when is it your business whose hole I fuck?”

Seth loosened his grip
and let Dom go in the end. He didn’t have anything left in him. He could hear
the slight drag of Domenico’s shoes over the polished floor, but he didn’t even
bother to look at him before Domenico actually called out to him.

“Are you coming?”

Seth looked at the floor
and put his hands in his pockets as he walked out. Domenico had no shame, and
Seth couldn’t understand it, but his mind still wandered back to Dom’s ass
tensing as he fucked the guy with such aggressive fervor. Like one of those
fuck machines Seth had seen in porn. Only better.

When he finally left the
church, it wasn’t raining anymore, and he found Domenico standing by an old
gravestone, cigarette in hand as if nothing had happened. The stone wings of
the angel statue behind Domenico created a picturesque vision, once again
reminding Seth of this man’s infernal origin. Then again, if Dom was gay, maybe
Seth could let off some steam and fuck him. That would teach him respect.

With that thought still
lingering in his mind, Seth lit a cigarette as well.

“We need to pack,”
muttered Domenico after a minute of uncomfortable silence. Seth’s gaze wandered
to the fresh grave two men were still working on.

“Huh? Am I going back to
the States already?” Seth pouted, finally looking at Domenico and hoping his
gaze could stab, but the guy calmly blew some smoke into the wind. He looked so
fucking post-orgasmic. Seth could stare at him for hours if it wasn’t for him
talking.

“We’re flying to Berlin
tonight.”

“Me? And you?” Seth
looked around, even though he knew there was no help coming.

Domenico pursed his lips
around the cigarette and looked at him from behind the shades. “Yes, us.”

“Great, just great.”
Seth took a drag from his cigarette. “The fuck we’re gonna do in Berlin? Some
kinky shit?”

“I see you’ve been
there,” chuckled Domenico, leaning back with a smile of reddened lips. “Why.
You up for that?”

“No. But I can imagine
it’s an idea that comes to your depraved mind. And yes, I’ve been to Berlin
once.”

“We’re going to have fun
then.” Domenico raised his brows with a smile and extinguished the cigarette on
the side of the old gravestone.

“You will. You can go
out and do your gay shit. I will relax. I need it.” Seth threw away his cig as
well.

“There’s a problem with
that. I’m supposed to be teaching you, so while I’m out, you will be working.”

“Good. Whatever. At
least I won’t have to look at your stupid face,” Seth snarled.

“I’m happy that you’re
happy.” Domenico got to his feet with a nasty grin. “Now move.”

“Don’t tell me what to
do!”

Domenico looked at him
over his shoulder with a slight frown. “It seems I have to if you’re not moving
on your own.”

“Why are we really going
to Berlin?” Seth mumbled and followed him even though he didn’t want to.

“There are a few things
that need taking care of.”

Seth’s throat tightened
when Domenico retrieved a large gun from underneath his suit jacket. He looked
into the barrel as if he were checking his laundry basket.

Seth’s eyes went wide,
and he ripped out his own gun from his pocket to put on the safety. It was only
when he glanced up, and his eyes met Domenico’s amused gaze that Seth
understood he could have shot his own leg. Or worse.

His body bristled in
anticipation of a mean comment, but Domenico didn’t say anything, instead
picking up his pace as they approached the parking lot.

As if his day couldn’t
get any worse, the guy Dom had fucked was their driver. He sat in the front
seat with his head hung low, and even from outside, the frantic trembling of
his legs was hard to miss. Seth shook his head. It should have been Domenico
who was ashamed, though the other guy deserved the embarrassment for putting
out in the church. Seth entered the car with a huff, and Domenico joined him
without another comment. It was the driver who broke the sudden silence.

“Mr. Villani, I’m—I
don’t know what to say.” His voice shook, and his reddened eyes and pale skin
in the rearview mirror were like a slap in the face. “This won’t happen ever
again. I’m a good man, I have three children, they need their father.”

A snort from Domenico
was the equivalent of a ‘fuck you’. “It’s the risk we all take, don’t be such a
woman.”

Seth couldn’t have
frowned any more if he wanted to avoid looking like a dried prune. “You,”—he
looked at Domenico—“shut the fuck up. You,”—he looked at the driver—“never do
it again.”

He was repulsed that he
had to pretend to be homophobic. Melting into the seat seemed like a good idea
right now.

“Are you really making
sexual choices for him now?” Domenico grinned just as the car started with an
unpleasant bump. It seemed the driver was so nervous that he couldn’t even deal
with transmission properly.

Seth looked him straight
in the eye. “He’s obviously making bad ones.”

“I assume you mean
putting out for me?”

“Yes, that’s exactly
what I mean,” Seth hissed and crossed his arms. “
You
are a bad choice.”

Domenico grinned. “You
heard him, Tony. You can fuck men, just don’t let anyone bust you anymore.”

“Shut the fuck up,”
rasped the driver.

“Come on, he won’t tell
on you.”

“Oh yeah? Why not?
’Cause I’d have to tell on you as well?” Seth scowled. “What makes you think I
won’t, fag?” All of Seth’s insides cringed at the word, but he still didn’t
hold back saying it. The small smile on Domenico’s lips though made his blood
turn cold.

“Do you want to live,
Villani?” whispered Domenico, loud enough for the driver to hear. “Shut your
shitspilling mouth.”

Seth swallowed and was
ready to say something back, but the words wouldn’t come to him, and in the
end, he looked back at the window. Seth didn’t understand his own position. Was
he above Dom in the food chain or not? He was a Villani after all. Then again,
he didn’t know much about the crime world, when Acerbi was… well, Seth knew who
he had to be in the Family hierarchy, and it wasn’t a ‘bodyguard’. He was most
probably in the body disposal business. Seth’s insides curled in fear at what
people like him were capable of. Those skills would be a lot more important for
the Family than Seth’s communication studies degree.

The silence carried on
for the next fifteen minutes, until he could finally leave the stuffy
atmosphere of the car and run. He would hide in the garden, or maybe go
straight to his own room, where he was least likely to be bothered. But no,
Domenico wouldn’t let him.

“Meet me here in half an
hour, we have a plane to catch,” said Domenico, already opening the door to the
passenger seat.

“But… the reception… and
my hand hasn’t healed,” Seth muttered, even though spending even more time with
his father and aggravated brother was the last thing he wanted.

Domenico silenced him
with a single gesture. “You want to live? I can make sure of that. Meet me in
half an hour.”

Seth sighed. The last
thing he wanted was even more uncomfortable silence around Domenico. Only the
scenery changed. This time it would be a plane, not a car.

Seth didn’t have a lot
to pack, but he wanted to get as much alone time as possible, so he rushed to
his room, without wandering to the rooms where the reception was held. He ran
down the empty corridor and went right in, freezing in place when he saw a tall
figure at the window.

“Fuck,” slipped out at
the sight of his uncle. He didn’t mean to swear, but his nerves were in tatters
already, without having another thing thrown at him. If the
consigliere
was here, there had to be a good reason. Wishing his nephew a safe journey
wouldn’t be it. “I mean, good afternoon.”

A small smile ghosted
over the narrow, permanently serious face. “Tough day?” Frederico had the same
handsome features as his brother, yet was much slimmer and reminded Seth of a
starved wolf.

“Yes, I was close with
my mother.” Seth nodded and started packing, even though most of his things
were already in the travel bag.

“I remember. It’s a
shame a woman as remarkable as her left us. At least now you will be busy
enough not to think too much.”

“Yeah, Acerbi is
supposed to be training me,” Seth pushed in his leather jacket and zipped up
the bag.

The
consigliere
nodded with a small frown. “You’re in good hands. He’ll
take care of you properly.”

Seth rolled his eyes and
went over to his desk to pour them both a drink. “Sure. You remember how he
wanted to ‘take care of me’ when we were kids.” Though Seth’s mind kept
wandering off to visions of other ways in which Dom could
take care
of
him. He really needed that drink.

The
consigliere
shook his head at the alcohol. “Just do as he tells you. He
is
our best man.”

“Yeah, I suppose he’s
capable
.”
Seth let the smoky flavor of the whiskey linger in his mouth.

The
consigliere
was silent for the longest moment, but eventually went on with a slight cough,
“You aren’t afraid he’d go for it again, are you? Your father assigned him to
you precisely because he thinks you may need someone like him now.”

Seth took a deep breath,
courage stemming from a good whiskey. “He’s a killer, isn’t he? He’ll do any
dirty job?”

The
consigliere
snorted. “He will negotiate.”

Seth wanted to stop the
stream of horrific imagery rushing through his mind, but it was no use. “And he
doesn’t like me. He could get rid of me and say it was an accident. No one
would know.”

The
consigliere
shook his head and after a sharp intake of breath said, “He
would not betray his own blood.”

Seth crooked his head to
the side, unsure of how to interpret that. They weren’t exactly ‘blood’ just
because Domenico worked for their family. “I don’t understand…”

The
consigliere
frowned, stepping back. “You never heard the rumors?”

“What rumors?”

The slow bob of the
consigliere’s
Adam’s apple wasn’t reassuring, but his next words made Seth’s hair bristle.
“Your father is visiting his mother.”

His
mother?”
Seth’s heart started a ferocious rhythm.

The
consigliere’s
nose flared, and he gave a curt nod. “You can’t let him
know you’re aware of this. But you need to know what’s going on around you.”

Seth’s body went rigid,
and his voice turned into a whisper. “And it’s been going on for years?” The
answer was obvious, taking into account Domenico’s existence, yet he needed to
hear it.

The
consigliere
nodded.
“Villani blood. You can practically smell it on him.”

Seth looked into his
whiskey glass, suddenly wanting to puke and then bleach his mind through the
eyeballs. He wanted to fuck his own half brother. “G-good to know,” he choked
out, still in shock that his father could have cheated on his mother. And as to
smell, he wasn’t sure if Dom smelled of Villani blood, but he surely smelled
fucking good. Especially after he fucked that guy in the church. It was the
smell of come, testosterone, and good cologne all rolled into one sexy scent.

Frederico sighed and put
his hand on Seth’s shoulder, squeezing it reassuringly. “I know this comes as a
shock, but I hope it will make you feel better in the long run.”

“Let’s say so…” Seth
nodded and downed his drink. “Thank you for your honesty, Uncle.”

“I honestly advise you
to rely on him.”

There was a knock on the
door, and without waiting for an invitation, the door opened and Domenico burst
in, freezing in place when he saw the
consigliere
.

“I think I have to go,”
Seth grabbed his bag before gazing at his… half brother, who didn’t stop
looking insanely hot just because of the new knowledge.

“Yes, we need to go,”
muttered Domenico, stepping outside. He reached out toward the staircase in a
surprisingly polite gesture.

Seth said his good-byes
with his uncle once more before rushing out, straight into Dom’s clutches. He
still didn’t trust the guy one bit, but right now, his mere presence made
Seth’s skin crawl under the black mourning suit. None of them said a thing all
the way to the car, where the same driver was waiting for them with his eyes
fixed on the road.

Domenico outran Seth and
opened the door for him in a mockery of being courteous.

Seth gave him the glare
of death, but sat inside. “Cunt,” he muttered.

“Fag,” answered
Domenico, before slamming the door shut.

Seth’s mouth fell open,
blood rushing up to his face. He didn’t even know how to respond to that. He
pushed the travel bag down between his legs.
Fuck.
This would not end
well. He could hardly believe the irony of it. They were both from the same
father and both gay.
