Forced Handfasting (6 page)

Her head snapped back to him. “Don’t call me that!”

“Why ever not? That’s what you are, my wife.” He reached out to caress the skin on the back of her arm.

“Don’t touch me either!” She scooted to the side and hoped he didn’t try to touch her again. As she watched him, she saw his eyes darken with lust. The little sparks of fire she had felt last night when he kissed were back, and it was making her very uncomfortable.

Jahan threw his head back and laughed at her. “Ah, my little human, you amuse me. I have every right to touch you if I choose to do so, but I did promise to give you a few days to adjust. After that, I will assert my husbandry rights.”

“Husbandry rights! You don’t have any! You forced me into that Handfasting, and you know that!” Her anger was rising, and she figured she had better get off the bed before she said something stupid.

Her legs slipped over the side of the bed, but before her bare feet could touch the floor, she found herself on her back underneath her husband. She realized as soon as she looked Jahan in the face that she had displeased him yet again.

“Whether you like it or not, this marriage will be consummated soon. I am generous in giving you some time to adjust to being here, but within a few days’ time we will…shall I say….become quite intimate with each other.”

Her eyes were glued to his as he spoke down to her. She swallowed nervously as she listened to his words as well as feel the hardness of his body pressing down on hers. There was no doubt in her mind that this…this man would claim her just as he said. How was she ever going to be able to fend him off when he was so much bigger than she was, not to mention fend off the feelings her body was creating as he touched her. She was at a loss for words.

A finger gently caressed her cheek, sending shivers down her spine. Her nipples tightened into overly sensitive peaks that rubbed against her shirt, while her core told her she was ready to accept Jahan’s cock. She had to take control, and take control now!

“No! I won’t do it!”

Jahan’s eyes narrowed. Her heart beat sped up so fast that she thought for sure it was about to burst through her chest. It almost felt as if she was going to have a panic attack, but she couldn’t let him know he affected so much.

To her relief, Jahan rolled off her, and off the bed.
Yes! Sam 1, Jahan 0,
she thought to herself.
Ha! Maybe I should stand my ground more often! That’ll show him I won’t be messed with.

Sam rivaled in her win until Jahan threw a curve ball at her, sending her excitement crashing down.

“We’ll see about that. Get dressed,” he demanded impatiently.

“Dressed? For what?” Crap, was he taking her back to the slave market?

“You are trying my patience, little one. Just get up and get dressed.” He turned away from her to dig in a large chest of drawers.

“Ummm…I don’t have anything to get dressed in other than what I am already wearing,” she replied.

He turned to face her with a scowl on his handsome face. He clearly had forgotten she didn’t have any other clothes. “I forgot about that. Give me a few minutes, and I will see what I can do.”

He left the bedroom in rush. She heard the main door to their rooms close, and lock as he exited. She could at least take this time to wash her face, and relieve herself while he left the room.

The bathroom in the bedroom was just as luxurious as the rest of the suite she was staying in. A checkered pattern of white, and grey stone covered the floor of the bathroom. She stood in the middle of the smaller room, and found that there was a stand-alone shower directly in the center of one wall, a bath tub that could probably fit six people sat in one corner of the room, and had a large oval window that looked out over the valley. A smaller, skinnier door was opposite of the tub and was partially open revealing the much-needed commode. A long vanity stood next to the shower, and held a sink that looked strange to her. A tall white cabinet stood on the other side of the shower, and held the towels, and other things a common bathroom would hold.

Her first stop would be the commode. As quickly as she could, she used the bathroom then stepped out to use the sink, if she could only figure out where the water came out. There weren’t any knobs or spout or buttons to press, so she stood there stupefied.

“Where the hell does the water come out?” she asked herself out loud.

“Run your hand along the side.”

Jahan’s voice made her let out a squeal as she jumped in fright. “God, you scared the shit out of me!” She put her hand on her chest in an effort to slow her speeding heart.

Jahan walked up to her and held out a small pile of clothing. “It’s the best I could do for now. These are some clothes that Harro’s daughter left behind when she got married, and moved out. I will take you to the market to purchase clothing. I can’t have you running around here naked.” He turned to walk away then stopped unexpectedly to face her again. He had a wicked smile plastered across his face as his eyes bore into her. “Maybe keeping you naked wouldn’t be such a bad idea. That way I could see your body any time I wished.”

The color drained from her face. He couldn’t possibly humiliate her like that! At least her captors had given her a sack to wear!

“Get dressed,” he ordered then left the bathroom.

Sam didn’t hesitate. She didn’t want to take any chances on him keeping that idea. She quickly stripped out of the shirt, and pants, tossing them onto the vanity. Reaching for the pile of clothes she soon realized he hadn’t given her a bra or panties, just a simple pink dress, and a pair of flip-flops that surprisingly fit her perfectly.
Great, just freaking great! Not only am I in an alien’s home, but now I have to go around without a bra and panties! What else could possibly go wrong?

She finished dressing then quickly washed her face and scrubbed her teeth with the toothbrush she had found in the cabinet. Feeling more like herself, she stepped out of the bathroom to find the bedroom empty. She found Jahan waiting for her in the living room. He had parked his large frame on the same sofa she had fallen asleep on last night, and wondered if he did that on purpose.

“That’s much better, but still not good enough. Let’s go.” He took hold of her upper arm and guided her out of the room. This time she noticed he didn’t bother to lock the door. At the top of the stairs she stopped suddenly and looked down. “What’s wrong now,” he asked.

“Stairs,” she said and pointed.

He caught onto her meaning quickly then scooped her up into his arms. As much as she didn’t want to touch him, she feared she wouldn’t have made it down the stairs without falling flat on her face. She still had a long way to go before she would feel like her old self again.

Jahan strode down the stairs and out the door in record time. A smaller vehicle sat parked in the driveway with its engine running. As they approached the vehicle Jahan simply said, “Open” in order to get the door to lift open for him. He sat her gently down on the front seat then closed the door. She drew in a ragged, deep breath as she waited for him to enter on the opposite side.

“Watch your hands,” he warned her right before he started the vehicle. A seatbelt came out of nowhere and strapped her in securely.

“Wow,” she said under her breath in amazement.

Jahan steered the vehicle out onto the same road they had come in on last night. This time though, she was able to see so much more. The morning sunlight left nothing hidden as she scanned her surroundings. Everything around her was beautiful! The trees she thought only had blue, and green leaves had been hiding the small buds of white flowers last night. The grass alongside the road was a deep hunter green and sprinkled with tiny little purple flowers. She leaned as far forward as the seatbelt would allow her, and was shocked to find three suns high in the sky.

“Your world has three suns?” she asked him out of curiosity.

“Yes,” he replied simply.

“But…but why doesn’t your world burn up or at least be very hot?”

“The two smaller, red ones are dwarfs and don’t offer much of anything. The bigger one is quite a ways away, so the temperature here is never very hot. We do get some warm days, but nothing you won’t be able to withstand.” He spoke to her without even glancing at her.

“That’s incredible!” She smiled at him for the first time without thinking about it. She turned her attention back out the window to take in the sight of the strange, and beautiful planet. They passed by a waterfall she didn’t notice yesterday while going up the mountain, but today she was well aware of everything around including the man sitting next to her.

Her thoughts drifted to Jahan. She had to admit she was curious about him even though he was her captor now. Why did he have such an abrupt change in attitude towards her? Why did he force her to marry him? Was she ever going to get back home?

She was lost in her thoughts when her door suddenly opened without warning. Jahan’s face loomed in the door looking at her with clear impatience. To her horror she realized she was lost in her thoughts she didn’t notice that the vehicle had stopped.

“Sorry,” she mumbled as she slid out of the vehicle, and stood next to him. She looked around to find that they were in the market. It reminded her a lot of the French Market down in the French Quarter of New Orleans. There were numerous vendors selling all kinds of merchandise, and all were situated under the protection of long metal shelter, even though some still put up their colorful tents.

“Follow me,” Jahan instructed her.

She trailed behind him as they entered the market. Her eyes traveled over the tables full of clothing, jewelry, bags, food, and a few things she didn’t have a clue to what they were. Each booth they passed the vendor would greet Jahan in a formal tone, and slightly bow to him. What surprised her the most, was that he knew each, and every vendors’ name. He would stop for a few seconds to greet each vendor then introduce her. She reluctantly smiled and nodded when he referred to her as his wife mainly because she didn’t want to cause a scene in the middle of the market.

Jahan stopped at one booth that sold simple dresses, and gestured for her to look around. She didn’t want to have to owe him anything, but she did need clothes that would fit her properly, and she didn’t have any money of her in order purchase some. Jahan stood off to the side, and talked with the man who owned the booth while she browsed through the racks of dresses. Out the corner of her eye, she could see Jahan watching her as she moved about, never taking his eyes off her.

“May I help you, my lady?” A soft voice spoke behind her.

She half-way turned around to see a young woman standing behind her waiting for her to acknowledge her presence. She smiled warmly at the sales lady as she said, “I guess I need to try on a few dresses, but I’m not sure which ones to pick. They’re all so pretty.” Her fingers rubbed the soft material as she tried to determine what kind of material the dress possessed.

“I will be so happy to help you, my lady! Let’s see..,” the sales lady hummed to herself as she dug through the dresses.

Sam stood to the side and laughed when the sales lady started to load her up with dresses. “I don’t think I’ll need this many!”

“Lord Jahan told my husband to see that you got whatever you wished. It isn’t often one of the ladies of Uxslore comes into the market. My name is Deerna, by the way.” She plopped a blue dress on top of the growing pile.

“Oh? How many ladies are there?” Asking questions just might be a good way to find out some inform about her husband.

“Three now, including you. Lord Jahan’s younger brothers have already married. Do you think that is good enough to start with?” Deerna nodded at her pile of dresses in her arms.

“I think this is enough! Is there a place I can try them on,” she asked a bit shyly. She didn’t see a fitting room and wasn’t about to try the dresses on out in the open.

“Yes, yes! It’s right here.” Deerna guided her to the back corner of the booth. Tucked away in between the racks of dress was a small curtained off area used for changing. Deerna pulled the curtain back then took the dresses from her and hung them on a single hook provided in the enclosed area. “Try on one, and step out.”

“Ok,” she said. She was nervous about stripping out of her clothes with only a curtain hiding her from the general public. One false move against the curtain would send her tumbling out.

She chose to try on the first dress that had caught her attention. It was the same soft material that was a beautiful shade of hunter green. She slipped the dress over her head then let the material fall around her ankles. There wasn’t a mirror in the dressing room, but she could at least see that the dress fell to the length she needed for her short stature.

“Do you have one on, my lady?” Deerna’s voice came through the thin curtain.

She couldn’t hide behind the curtain forever, so she took a deep breath, let it out slowly, and then stepped out.

“Oh, my lady! You look wonderful!” Deerna pulled her closer so she could inspect the dress.

Immediately Sam became self-conscious. All eyes in the near vicinity turned to glance at her as she stood there. She lowered her own eyes out of embarrassment and only chanced a glance to see if Jahan was looking.

Her heart skipped a beat when she saw the look on his. She could feel his gaze penetrate straight through her dress, and touch her skin, warming it. She had held his gaze for a moment before she looked away, but not before she saw the desire and lust filling his eyes.
