Dominate Me: A Devoured Club Novel (21 page)

“I love you, Ally.”

FOUR MONTHS LATER

It was December
, and I couldn’t believe that the boys had convinced me to marry them so quickly. I was now in the suite at the hotel getting dressed.

“I can’t believe it. My baby sister is getting married to not one, but two men.”
Emma laughed as she hugged me.

“You know I want to smack you sometimes
, right?” I said as I looked back.

“We all want to smack her at times
,” Nikki said as she joined in the conversation.

I had decided on a Christmas wedding. We
`d brought the entire family with us; our family - the ones that mattered. Everyone flew to the Dominican Republic for our wedding; Emma and Marcus, Chloe and Lucas, Nikki and Kieran, Seth, and all the boys that worked with Devlin.

Aiden, Devlin and I were marrying each other.

“We always want to smack her,” I chimed in.

I placed my hair up in a bun. The girls were wearing spaghetti strap pink chiffon dresses
, and I had picked out a white lace free flowing, floor length dress. I had kept all of the details from Aiden, but requested that the boys wear the white button downs and khaki lightweight pants. Aiden had told me about the dream he`d had when he was shot, and I wanted to surprise him and have the wedding as close to it as possible.

“Are you ready? It’s time to go
,” Emma said as I took one last look in the mirror. I nodded and grabbed the simple bouquet that I had designed.

My stomach was filled with nerves as we entered the hallway that led outdoors. I could see our friends all seated
, and the boys were up at the altar with the Justice of the Peace. On paper I was marrying Devlin, but changing my name to include Aiden’s last name as well. I took a deep breath and looked out at everyone again. The boys looked nervous as Nikki and Emma stepped out in front of me. Lucas and Marcus were behind Devlin. I stepped out and I could feel the heat of the sun and the cool breeze rushing over the ledge. The music continued to play as I took steps closer to my future.

The boys both stepped down
, and each grabbed a hand, placing a kiss on each cheek. We stepped up and faced the Justice. The man began a quick introduction of us, one that I had written, of course. We turned to each other and recited our own vows. Nothing was traditional about this day or this union.

Aiden began. “Ally, you are the most wonderful, loving and caring person in this world. I was afraid when I met you that I wouldn’t have another chance with Devlin. But not only did you
see through that and accept it, you accepted me, and fell for me. The last few months have been nothing short of amazing. I am happy to spend the rest of my life with you. Devlin. What do I say? I thought I’d never come back to you, yet here we are. The hurt and pain of the past few years have been replaced with a new sense of love and belonging. I could not picture my life any differently. I love you and Ally more than I could ever explain in words.”

I went next.

“Devlin. I don’t know where to begin. A year ago you swept into my life and showed me how to be loved. You showed me about the type of person I wanted to be, the type of person I could be. You opened my world up to so many possibilities. I love you for that. Aiden, I didn’t know what to think when I met you. I could see the love you had for him, but I didn’t know how capable you were of loving me as well, yet in one week you proved that to me over and over. When you were in the hospital and I was faced with losing you, I realized how much you had touched me in such a short amount of time. I love you.” Tears were sliding down my face.

Devlin took his turn.

“Aiden, my life was completely taken from me four and a half years ago. I lost everything I thought I loved in one solid move. But fate brought us back together, making me realize what I needed to in order to survive. Alexia, there are no words to describe the effect you have had on my life. I was a shell of a person before you walked in and completely up-heaved everything I was defending against. You say I showed you how to love, but that is not correct. You have shown me what it means to love and be loved. The amazing way you accepted every part of me is truly a testament to your ability to bring joy into anyone’s life.”

I was really crying now. The
Justice of the Peace motioned for our rings, which we placed on each other’s fingers. The boys had matching ones, similar to the engraved one Devlin had presented to Aiden months prior. My ring was made up of three intertwined rows of diamonds. Aiden had designed it, and Devlin had the jeweler custom make it. It was in honor of the love we had for each other.

The
Justice indicated that we had entered into the realms of our relationship, and to what was created no man or woman should destroy. I figured he manipulated the wording a little, but not that badly. We kissed each other and turned to our friends; to those we considered our family, and threw our hands in the air.

I felt safe. I felt protected. I felt dominated.
